Mt Rainier is 32 minutes away while Mount St. Helens is 2 hours away. Alder Lake is about 20 minutes away as well as several other lakes are within an hour. There are many hiking trails in the surrounding area.

No fires are allowed in individual sites but guest can congregate at the group fire pit that is located in the Middle of the field between campsite 3 and 4. We provide the firewood. The porta potty is located at the second driveway behind the privacy fence.
Campers in site 6 and 7 can walk through the woods on maintained trails to access the porta potty or drive back out to the main driveway. The sites are large and spaced out.

This is a gorgeous park-like RV campground situated between the trees of the arboretum. NO TENTS, please. Also we have NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS. Beautiful view of the mountains and forests here in western Washington. We are close to Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier and several lakes.
There are walking trails all around the site. The 12 acre campground is located on a 136 acre property that is an active Christmas tree farm. Trails continue throughout the tree farm.
Many trails have a view of the Tilton River, which can be reached via a challenging 3/4 mile trail. Sites are on 12 acres planted with many different species of trees that are about 30 years old. Giant Redwoods, Cedars, and Maples are just a few of the varieties present. Part of the farm is still a working Christmas tree farm.
The trails are wide and grassy. The old logging road that we use as a trail to the river has an elevation change of about 500 feet, the trail can be quite challenging. Bear Creek empties into the Tilton river at the end of the trail.
There is an ART GALLERY where you can learn to pound flowers, see the host's artwork and get a cup of coffee! This is upstairs through the check-in entry-way. Tilton River Studio Gallery.
Three sites have electrical hookups. Every site has a water spigot (use a pressure regulator if you want to hook up). No restrooms or sewer hookups. Garbage disposal site (dumpster) available Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Enjoy your own private lakefront escape on Tanwax Lake with your own large private dock to boat, fish, kayak or swim from. The property is setup with the ability to accommodate 2 recreational vehicles with full hook ups (30 amp power, water, sewer). Or bring a tent(s) and use the fully plumbed outdoor restroom including a toilet, urinal and sink. We have a couple of Kayaks and a paddle boat that you are free to enjoy. At night, enjoy a campfire and smores at the firepit.

One minute walk to salmon fishing and river swimming hole and one mile walk to stores in Morton. Laundry and simple indoor shower and toilette. We live in home on property. Please be aware that you can hear the logging trucks on 508 but you will have a visually private space. Also due to change in local ordinance not of our making, there is a 2 week maximum stay. You can let your dog run off leash in the fenced in yard and explore the woods out back although steep.

Welcome to Two Frog Bog, a 20-acre forested haven featuring 5 acres of wetland. Our accommodations include a 24-foot yurt (currently under repair, see below) with a private, semi-attached bathhouse, and a 10 x 20-foot tent cabin with outdoor kitchen and private outhouse with composting toilet. You’ll enjoy the outdoor shower that is available for all guests. The communal fire pit is a great place to roast s’mores and maybe meet new friends. NEWS Our property was hit hard in the Bomb Cyclone of Nov '24. Sadly, we lost the Funk House. The Paisley Paradise yurt was severely damaged and is under repair. The Dragonfly Den remained unharmed and has been upgraded with the queen bed from the Funk House. Other areas need rebuilding. This is a gorgeous park-like RV campground situated between the trees of the arboretum. NO TENTS, please. Also we have NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS. Beautiful view of the mountains and forests here in western Washington. We are close to Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier and several lakes.
There are walking trails all around the site. The 12 acre campground is located on a 136 acre property that is an active Christmas tree farm. Trails continue throughout the tree farm.
Many trails have a view of the Tilton River, which can be reached via a challenging 3/4 mile trail. Sites are on 12 acres planted with many different species of trees that are about 30 years old. Giant Redwoods, Cedars, and Maples are just a few of the varieties present. Part of the farm is still a working Christmas tree farm.
The trails are wide and grassy. The old logging road that we use as a trail to the river has an elevation change of about 500 feet, the trail can be quite challenging. Bear Creek empties into the Tilton river at the end of the trail.
There is an ART GALLERY where you can learn to pound flowers, see the host's artwork and get a cup of coffee! This is upstairs through the check-in entry-way. Tilton River Studio Gallery.
Three sites have electrical hookups. Every site has a water spigot (use a pressure regulator if you want to hook up). No restrooms or sewer hookups. Garbage disposal site (dumpster) available Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Site 7 is one of the smaller sites. Still big enough for 2 of our tents. All in all a fantastic spot for tranquility in the mountains. Fantastic bath facilities. Shower had nice pressure, hot water, and most importantly…. Clean!

Campsite was great! Hot showers and flushing toilets super close to camp. And there was a trail to the river from the campsite! The only downside was since it's the off season we didn't get the firewood we paid for. Not a big deal to us though! We will definitely be back!

Absolutely beautiful views, privacy and safety, and welcoming hosts who will take care of anything you need quickly and kindly make this site super special! Enjoyed my stay so much I extended it! Lots of wildlife and great walks. Extra amenities like the bathroom, kitchenette and laundry really were a huge bonus and added extra comfort to RV life! Giant park down the road, but the entire yard is fenced to allow doggy romping! My pup was in heaven. And there is also an adorable Airbnb room in the house if you have friends with you! Very cute town in the country full of friendly neighbors! A must visit!

If you want to sit in relative quiet with a lovely view, this is a recommended spot. Owner’s communication was outstanding. NOTE: If you have dogs, there isn’t much room to roam due to blackberry bushes and neighboring property owner. NOTE: The neighboring property owner was quiet and kept their dogs fenced, but you’ll need to keep a close eye on your own dogs to ensure that they respect the property boundary. .

This was our second time staying at Steve and Starla’s campsite! The property is spacious and well kept, also close to the Mt. Rainier park entrance. Although the weather this time was not ideal, our group had a great time during our trip. Thank you to Steve for suggesting site 2 which is a little higher ground and surrounded by trees to keep us a little drier during our stay. The hosts were able to answer any questions we had in a timely manner. Overall I would highly recommend this campsite. Thank you again for hosting us and wish you well in the future!

This was the ideal spot for our week-long trip, staying in the foothills of Mt Rainier. Surrounded by trees (the land is an old Christmas tree farm!), a hiking trail on property, dog friendly, full hook-ups for the RV and plenty of space, an hour from the trailhead in the park, and the sweetest hosts. Would absolutely encourage any camper(s) looking to spend some time in a quaint mountain town close to Rainier, to stay here!

We absolutely love this spot! Very private and great views. It poured rain and was very windy this weekend, but we hunkered down, watched movies and read- it was just what we needed! The only downside was getting into the spot. The directions are not clear that you need to back down into the spot- so when you get to the “driveway” you need to back down and it is a little steep. Unfortunately, even though I had read other reviews, we didn’t realize this point & ended up needing to back up onto the main road in 4wd (and luckily we have an F-350- our previous truck would not have been able to handle this even with 4wd). Make sure you assess before you head to the spot.
