This is a gorgeous park-like RV campground situated between the trees of the arboretum. NO TENTS, please. Also we have NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS. Beautiful view of the mountains and forests here in western Washington. We are close to Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier and several lakes.
There are walking trails all around the site. The 12 acre campground is located on a 136 acre property that is an active Christmas tree farm. Trails continue throughout the tree farm.
Many trails have a view of the Tilton River, which can be reached via a challenging 3/4 mile trail. Sites are on 12 acres planted with many different species of trees that are about 30 years old. Giant Redwoods, Cedars, and Maples are just a few of the varieties present. Part of the farm is still a working Christmas tree farm.
The trails are wide and grassy. The old logging road that we use as a trail to the river has an elevation change of about 500 feet, the trail can be quite challenging. Bear Creek empties into the Tilton river at the end of the trail.
There is an ART GALLERY where you can learn to pound flowers, see the host's artwork and get a cup of coffee! This is upstairs through the check-in entry-way. Tilton River Studio Gallery.
Three sites have electrical hookups. Every site has a water spigot (use a pressure regulator if you want to hook up). No restrooms or sewer hookups. Garbage disposal site (dumpster) available Memorial Day to Labor Day.

There are many hiking trails in the surrounding area.

The porta potty is located at the second driveway behind the privacy fence.
Campers in site 6 and 7 can walk through the woods on maintained trails to access the porta potty or drive back out to the main driveway. The sites are large and spaced out.

Our rental property was once a mini Rail Road with full size locomotive's, train cars, pumper cars and more. My dad & grandpa layed all the tracks & put together the buildings in the 1970's. Once done my grandma sold tickets to the tourist and my grandpa ran the engine around the 7 acre oval track pulling a train car full of happy tourist through the woods over the train bridge and past the big water tower back to their vehicles so they could finish their journies with a drive to Mt. We have 20 spacious sites on 70 acres, bordered by the Cowlitz River in Randle, WA. We are centrally located between Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens, and Mt. Adams. Since we are not open for public entry, you can feel safe leaving your camp set up while you take day excursions.
We have dry camping ONLY. There is a spigot for water at the gate, but no water or electricity hookups at any of the sites. This year (2026) we are expanding almost all of the sites while doing our best to keep privacy intact. This will allow for a wider variation of vehicle types, as well as more room for kiddos to play within the site itself.
We welcome individual campers as well as groups. Many of our sites will hold 20-30 people, all in one site area. We can also accommodate much larger groups.... We really enjoyed the spot. It was in an interesting little neighborhood that was nice to walk around. The gravel was great for rain and the spot itself was very cozy. We would have stayed longer but I need Strakink to work remotely and there were just enough obstructive trees that even moving dishy way out we were unable to get past 94%. which equated to drops every 15 minutes or so. No problem for most people but not workable when you do a lot of video calls. Jayson was very responsive, and yes I swung that hammer 🤗

Awsome place! Lots of area the kids can play in between spots. There is an awesome river trail that is a quick hike. We love it and we will probably come back! No lighr pollution or noise pollution. You can legit hear the toads and birds! Quiet, just what we wanted. They also have cheap firewood bundles (big bunlde)on site that you can pay cash. There are more activities that the host offer we just did not participate on it like a art class and art gallery and they sell local honey. We booked the RV concord site its was an awesome memorial day weekend

We were very grateful to get a quite literally last minute booking on Memorial Day weekend. (We’re travelling from Australia and didn’t even realise it was a long weekend until we couldn’t find anywhere to stay!) The property was tidy and very easy to access, there was plenty of room for our 25ft RV, and our kids to run and burn off some energy. Even the neighbours were super friendly and said g’day to us. Jayson was super speedy to respond when messaged. Thanks again!

The property was easy to get to and very close to the park entrance. Quiet, very nice fire pit and a stock pile of wood. Porta potty couldve been cleaner but its camping! You get what you get. :)

The Arboretum was the perfect retreat for my husband, dog, and I. The grounds were beautifully kept and each campsite was huge. The lawns there rival a city park. It was truly a gift for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. The owners, Barb and Terry, were very cordial and welcoming. It is apparent they have put alot of work and love into the property to make it a great destination!

Great spot close to Mount Rainier. Super quiet camp spot even though it’s adjacent to other properties. Water pressure is very high as Jayson says on the listing and signage at the space, long as you have a pressure regulator or just filling a water tank for dry camping you will be fine. Porta Jon on site was super clean as well. I would recommend his space to anyone looking for a great spot close to the park!

Great, open campsite. My kids loved playing along the river bed and dipping their feet in the water. Easy access to Mt. Rainier where we had a blast snowshoeing. Fire pit is great. Lots of room at the site where we played some soccer and frisbee. Not a fault of the hosts, but only issue was our camper ran out of power and by the third day we were freezing. Overall, it was an outstanding boondocking experience.

Second time visiting and totally recommend, again. It’s very private and peaceful, plenty of space of all kinds of rigs, the road down to the sight easily accessible in my Sprinter. Perfect for dogs as there is plenty of room for activities. It’s been fairly rainy and the ground in some spots were soft but that’s to be expected this time of year.
There are some road sounds to be heard, mainly only louder vehicles (it’s not a heavily trafficked road) but they can’t be seen from the sight. Non issue (for me) but worth mentioning.
