We had an amazing time camping here! My dog was overjoyed with the creek and we were over joyed with plug-ins for the fans and a hose for the sprinklers! It was one of the hottest days of the year! This place is a private little gem and we look forward to going back!

This was an amazing camp site. Such a magical spot. I camped for my birthday with some friends and the campsite owners were more than accommodating providing clean bathroom facilities and firewood. I will definitely come camp here again!

This was my first time tent camping and it was a great first experience! We stayed down by the stream in a very long, flat, green grassy area completely covered by the shade of the trees - which kept us fairly comfortable considering it was in the 100's on the days we were there. The grassy area was perfect for outdoor games - we put up our net and played volleyball, badminton, and frisbee. We were situated right by a fire pit surrounded by several nice wood stumps to sit on and a raised area with a couple of picknick tables. Our German Shepherd was in heaven with so much free space to run around. There's pre-cut, dry firewood for campfires at night, and a plethora of kindling lying around to get the fire started. To my surprise, there was a 4 plug outlet next to the picknick tables - we were able to charge our phones and plug in our fans! We parked our cars right above our campsite where the trees kept them shaded almost all day. Right above the area where we pitched our tent was a large open area (like a meadow) where every night we would lay down and look up at the stars - it was pitch black, no light pollution from the city, so we could see all of the constellations and even the milky way. We're astronomy nerds, and don't get to see the sky so vibrant and clear like that very often, so that was a treat for us. All in all, it was a great place to camp and I would easily go back again!

This was my third visit to Valerie’s Park Like Setting so that should tell you a lot. I’m an older single lady. It’s important to me to have beautiful as well as safe surroundings. Valerie’s place gives both and more. I’m already planning to go back one more time this year. Hopefully October before the rain starts. Trust me. As gorgeous as it is…not when it rains the whole time. That was the first visit. The last one was weather perfect. Blueberries are in season. Get while they are still available!

We absolutely LOVED this site! Very private, beautiful, and lots of space for our kids to run around & play. They liked exploring the stream (we found frogs!), roasting marshmallows by the firepit, and playing cards at the picnic tables under the lights. We really loved that it was also close to amenities and Valerie was such a warm & welcoming host. We will 100% be back!

Valerie's place was perfect for me. I essentially had my private campground. A little road noise, but not bad at all. I would definitely go again if / when I'm in the Portland area.

Valerie’s spot is perfect for a weekend camping getaway. A beautiful setting with lots of room for kids and pets to run around. We loved the privacy and convenient touches like available water and an electrical outlet. Things to be aware of: no shower and no dumpster for garbage, you have to pack it out with you-but as long as you plan for this, its hardly a downside. Valerie is a wonderful host and clearly loves sharing her gorgeous land with visitors. Would definitely book again and recommend to others!
