Perfectly peaceful getaway
Absolutely beautiful view of the vineyard and Amy has really made this about as cozy as can be! The camper is adorable and comfortable, and we loved sipping wine as the sun went down next to the gas fire table outside. Hearing the crickets at night was the perfect sleeping soundtrack and we both slept soundly. The yellow jackets were a little aggressive so we weren’t able to enjoy our meals outside, but fortunately they didn’t seem to care much about wine 😂

This was my second time staying at Duke’s Inn and I will definitely be back. It feels like you’re in the middle of the country, but it’s situated only a few miles from plenty of restaurants and shopping. The A/C works great, even during a heat wave. The outdoor seating is a must hang to look out over the vineyard over sunset.

Magical Sunrises and Comfy Beds
What a great stay! We came here for a sister trip for a birthday and it was just wonderful. Sherwood is so close to Newburg and Dayton so nothing feels too far away. But the location of the camper makes you feel far away. We got to watch a glorious sunrise from the little deck - camper directly faces the sunrise so it’s quite magical. The beds are comfy and close, there is a surprising amount of storage space and the overall the stay was very comfortable. It was a perfect place to come home to after a day of touring and tasting. And Amy is COMPLETELY lovely and very communicative. Highly recommend.

Great Getaway to Recharge!
We loved the cozy vintage Streamliner! It was perfect for a little getaway. The view was spectacular. The AC was refreshing after hiking Silverfalls. The complementary snack basket was a thoughtful touch. And a visit from a friendly farm cat was an unexpected treat. Thank you Amy for making us feel welcomed and providing a place for us to recharge.

Solo Camper
This retro camper is so cool!!! It’s decorated perfectly and has a lot of the original charm. The bed is comfortable and the a/c works well. I loved the sunrises over the vineyard and visiting the goats.

Just as charming as I remembered. Had a wonderful time visiting again this year, and would definitely recommend. Great place to disconnect from day-to-day life and relax in a beautiful setting. Host is very thoughtful.

Camping in a vintage airstream!
We loved staying in the trailer at Duke's! The beds were comfy and the outdoor area with seating, gas fire pit and BBQ were perfect! The weather was a bit rainy and cold but we made it work! Amy and Ben were helpful, gracious, and responsive hosts.

Perfect mini-getaway! The Streamline was very clean and cozy and warm. Amy was very communicative and provided great suggestions of places to eat or visit in town, as well as, a pass for a free wine tasting at the winery!

Cozy, clean, and tranquil!
A very lovely little spot for a quiet getaway. Incredibly cute inside and out, spotlessly clean, amazing views, wine, and friendly critters. Amy is helpful and nice and we had a great girls' retreat.

Relaxing perfect getaway!
Dukes Inn is literally the perfect getaway! We had such a relaxing time enjoying the vintage airstream and beautiful views of a winery! It is nestled behind the hosts farmhouse and has just the perfect amount of privacy! Amy is a great host and communicated well with us! I would definitely stay here again!! I already miss sitting outside under the stars next to the fire!

Milky Way views at Dukes Inn
Gorgeous view from the cutest airstream! We had a lovely stay at Dukes Inn. The camper is nicely decorated and has all the comforts you might need. You can play cornhole, enjoy the gas fire pit or walk to the winery for happy hour. We did all three!

Comfortable, relaxing, and adorable
This place was relaxing and awesome. We received complimentary wine, snacks, and propane for a little fire/barbecue. We enjoyed looking up at the stars in the evening. The beds were also extremely comfortable, as was the air conditioned trailer.

Absolutely Beautiful!
What a great stay! Amy’s property is conveniently located right off 99, but feels much more remote. The trailer itself was pristine and had all the amenities that you would need for your stay. Could not recommend it more.

Everything was perfect! The adorable 1963 Streamline was beautifully decorated, and also had several original details in excellent condition. The views and the property were lovely and relaxing. Amy was responsive and friendly. Highly recommend.

Fun girls trip!
Dukes Inn was so much fun. The hosts were great and the place was so cute and clean. The golf cart and wine tasting tickets were a fun extra touch that we enjoyed!

Beautiful location with great hosts
We loved staying in this camper! Amy and her husband got were super accommodating when we ended up staying during the 117 degree heat wave. They luckily had amazing air conditioning and made sure that it was blowing cold for us. We loved the little gift basket and attention to detail. We would love to return!

Clean & Comfort
Cute. Adorable. Thoughtful. Stylish. Fresh. I would recommend this to anyone staying in the Portland area anytime. The views were incredible, the peace was palpable. The sheets & towels were soft and clean. The vibe was comfort and style.

A cozy vino estate
Dukes Inn is certainly a wonderful place to rest and recharge. The setting is absolutely beautiful and a short distance from the Chehalem Mountains wine scene. I loved the minimalism of the trailer while it offered all the essentials. The bedding was super cozy and the coffee setup was on par. Amy made us feel right at home and we are truly thankful for the enjoyable experience.

Perfect getaway
We loved everything about our stay. The ease of checkin and out. It was literally a short skip to Hawks View Winery and old town Sherwood. The accommodations were lovely. Everything in the trailer was so well thought out and gorgeous. Amy was an amazing host and her property is a modern farmhouse dream. Goats, chickens and an beatable view of the vineyard.

Amazing place and amazing hosts
I cannot say enough about this place! It was absolutely AMAZING! 10+ stars! Amy and Ben are wonderful hosts, very kind, welcoming and communicative. The goats were too! :) We are from the CA coast and would make the drive back to Oregon for this place. The details and touches are something I notice ... and Amy has thought of everything! Wish we could have stayed longer. The view is spectacular too! THANK YOU!

Duke's Inn is a fantastic little getaway in the heart of Oregon wine country. Amy and Ben are superb hosts. Everything in the trailer was clean, the kitchen was well furnished, and the bathroom was stocked with fresh linens. This is top notch glamping, right on a vineyard (you can walk to Hawk's View Vineyard in less than 15 minutes)! I would stay again.

If I could give this 10 stars I would. It has everything for a great getaway. There was even a welcome basket with a bottle of wine and chocolates. Gas grill , fire pit, and the view is stunning, It overlooks vineyards(the sunrise was amazing ) and if you want to go to the winery you can walk from your site or borrow the golf cart. I am definitely going back. What a beautiful stay!

This was my first time using Hipcamp and I was pleasantly surprised. I was looking for a reasonably priced getaway to do some writing and Amy's place was perfect. The 1963 Streamline was very quaint and Amy added such a special touch by providing a basket filled with goodies. Outside the windows you have a view of a beautiful vineyard making it a very inviting and tranquil place.
