Please be careful when using Google maps, for whatever reason it has taken several people to other places other than mine. I posted a picture of the entrance of my property, hopefully this will help. Hurlys Hideaway is a very nice location located approximately 2 miles from the town of Tillamook. Very close to the beach Sand Lake various Rivers for fishing kayaking swimming Etc. Approximately 4 MI from Netarts Oceanside area, Netarts Bay, Cape Mears. A very nice location to be able to access all of these activities in Tillamook County. My land is Timber, some clearings, we'll see how this goes I'm just getting started. Also, I just learned that the transient tax for Tillamook Oregon is an additional 10% and I hate to do this but I'm going to have to raise my prices $5. If you are coming from Town, I'm 2 mi. from the hospital west on hwy. 131. Look for the purple Minnesota Vikings bus shack. I also put up a hipcamp sign just up my driveway a bit. If you are coming from the south on Fraiser road, turn right when you come to hwy. 131. I'm less than a quarter mile on your left. Also a heads up lately I've had a few people that are having a hard time booking and I learned from another camper if you're staying one night you actually have to select two days it includes the day you check out I just experienced that with another camper so just a bit information I don't know if hip camp changed something or what, but if you're staying one night select two days and it'll work.

We are closed for the season to let our land rest and, well it gets pretty soggy around here in the winter months. We'll open up in again in April but, we're taking reservations for the 2026 season... Our one designated site, closest to the river bank we call the Riverside Site. It can be reserved for up to 4 people. It can only accommodate smaller tents, campers, pop up trailers, small pod-type trailers and larger rigs up to 15'. has a rustic firepit and your own deck for viewing the river. For groups of 5 or more or people or camping with large 10 person tents or trailers over 20', there will be an additional fee and you will need to set up camp in our Riverwood Site, about 150' from the riverbank. You will still have full access to the deck and firepit in the other site but, larger rigs cannot maneuver in the site without tearing up the grass and leaving ruts on our property. **Please note**When you make the reservation you will add an "Extra", ADDITIONAL CAMPSITE. We have indoor bathroom facilities for our guests in a separate apartment we have downstairs of our house. There is a small living and dining area, kitchenette with barista bar, microwave and small fridge. It is about 150' walk and is visible from the campsites but, still feels private. We also offer our little Bunkie, the Glass House for an extra fee. The Bunkie sleeps two comfortably. It has a nice mattress (Please bring your own sleeping bags), a comfy bench, a coat rack, remote control lights and a nice electric heater. There are curtains all around for privacy. You'll use the bathroom facilities in the apartment. All of our guests have full access to our personal dock to get down to the water. We are closed for the season to let our land rest and, well it gets pretty soggy around here in the winter months. We'll open up in again in April but, we're taking reservations for the 2026 season... Our one designated site, closest to the river bank we call the Riverside Site. It can be reserved for up to 4 people. It can only accommodate smaller tents, campers, pop up trailers, small pod-type trailers and larger rigs up to 15'. has a rustic firepit and your own deck for viewing the river. For groups of 5 or more or people or camping with large 10 person tents or trailers over 20', there will be an additional fee and you will need to set up camp in our Riverwood Site, about 150' from the riverbank. You will still have full access to the deck and firepit in the other site but, larger rigs cannot maneuver in the site without tearing up the grass and leaving ruts on our property. **Please note**When you make the reservation you will add an "Extra", ADDITIONAL CAMPSITE. We have indoor bathroom facilities for our guests in a separate apartment we have downstairs of our house. There is a small living and dining area, kitchenette with barista bar, microwave and small fridge. It is about 150' walk and is visible from the campsites but, still feels private. We also offer our little Bunkie, the Glass House for an extra fee. The Bunkie sleeps two comfortably. Green Crest is an active Memorial Park (cemetery) adjacent to Highway 18 between Portland and the Oregon coast on the South side of Sheridan. The land was allowed to recover with alder being the first forest which replenished the soil. In a few areas scotch broom (invasive plants) took hold. Not wanting to use toxic chemicals that could leach into the water supply getting rid of scotch broom was a challenge but now there is large meadow with baby Christmas trees growing (marked by the red flags). In many other places douglas fir has planted itself along with new cedar trees. There is beautiful undergrowth that includes thimble berry, Oregon grape, candy stripe and many other wild plants. There is red huckleberry growing in various places and makes a great snack when they are ripe. Speaking of wild, there is a lot wildlife here. Several species of birds live here including family of humming birds. Sometimes you will see grouse, geese, ducks, swallows, red tail hawks, even a glimpse of a bald eagle. There are wild bunnies, gardener snakes, frogs, salamanders. If you go along the trails you might see signs of deer or coyote. There are currently chickens that live near the garage and garden (that's why dogs must be on leash). Learn more about this land: Pitch your tent in a shady meadow next to a small pond. Enjoy the serenity and the coastal mountain breezes flowing through the tree tops. There are hiking trails through forest land. Wake in the morning to birds singing, and fall asleep to the frogs in the pond. Clear nights and you can see a lot of stars. During the right season there are blackberries, red huckleberries and thimble berries. The Banks-Vernonia Linear trail State park and LL Stub Stewart are both near this beautiful little space.

Hurlys Hideaway is a very nice location located approximately 2 miles from the town of Tillamook. Very close to the beach Sand Lake various Rivers for fishing kayaking swimming Etc. Approximately 4 MI from Netarts Oceanside area, Netarts Bay, Cape Mears. A very nice location to be able to access all of these activities in Tillamook County. My land is Timber, some clearings, we'll see how this goes I'm just getting started. Also, I just learned that the transient tax for Tillamook Oregon is an additional 10% and I hate to do this but I'm going to have to raise my prices $5. If you are coming from Town, I'm 2 mi. from the hospital west on hwy. 131. Look for the purple Minnesota Vikings bus shack. I also put up a hipcamp sign just up my driveway a bit. If you are coming from the south on Fraiser road, turn right when you come to hwy. 131. I'm less than a quarter mile on your left. Also a heads up lately I've had a few people that are having a hard time booking and I learned from another camper if you're staying one night you actually have to select two days it includes the day you check out I just experienced that with another camper so just a bit information I don't know if hip camp changed something or what, but if you're staying one night select two days and it'll work.
