RV/Campervans on a private gated 5 acre horse farm. Convenient location with just 59 miles to the Oregon Coast, 20 minutes to Portland, 15 minutes to Hillsboro. Close to Golf, ZipLine, Glider Plane, Town of `North Plains. Riding instruction available. We do not offer tent camping or electrical hookup. Our property offers a relaxed atmosphere and is home to 4 horses , 2 German Shepherds , 1 half-blind barn cat, 1 indoor blind cat, along with hippy-ish humans:) LBGTQ 4/20 friendly. You can enhance your stay with horse lessons/experience on Rosendam Farm. If you are interested we will put you in contact with the horse trainer for pricing and times. Note for Off Season...... We will be closing early this year for re-seeding of the pastures.You will be staying in our cozy 2018 1 bed, 1 bath camping trailer complete with most comforts of home like WIFI, Firestick TV. Located on a peaceful, private gated horse farm minutes from the town of North Plains along with a variety of farms that allow you to pick your own goods when in season! This picturesque farm provides the ideal location, many benefits, and a comfortable stay. Perfect for those in the city looking for a quick getaway. For those needing a work space, we can provide a work chair for you to make working a bit more comfortable. Located 15 minutes from Hillsboro, 20 minutes Portland, and 59 miles to the Oregon Coast, easy access to Sunset Highway 26, and near the town of North Plains. We are 4/20 LBTQ friendly farm, and have a couple of hammocks on the property that you're invited to enjoy (seasonal). In the KITCHEN you will find most all kitchen items one may need. There is a 3 burner gas stove for those wanting to prepare meals, along with a variety of teas, coffee, sugar, etc. CRITTERS AND FARM LIFE: You may see all types of birds of prey hanging out in a nearby tree or on the posts of our fenced-in field in search of the next meal. The garden will not produce until mid to late summer, but we share the bounty with whomever is on the farm at the time. We ask that you take only what you need so that others may share the bounty. NO campfires are allowed during drought, no loud parties, but feel free to enjoy the night sky and fresh air within the anti gravity chairs provided:) NO FEEDING of the horses. You will see and hear cars from the road, but noise isn't constant and usually dies down before the sleeping hour. This is a farming community, so you'll come across farming goings on. The road is also along a cycle route, so pay attention when coming and going from the property DOG DISCLAIMER : Dogs must be on a leash when outside of your rig, and we ask that you clean up after your dog. We have a farm dog who is well socialized, friendly, and generally not leashed. DOGS AND HORSES : If your dog gets loose and tries to chase a horse, your dog could be seriously injured or worse. Horses will do everything to protect themselves if they feel under attack. With this location, you will not be far from wherever your adventures are taking you.

Best Little Escape!

Had absolutely the best time! It was so peaceful, and we even got to watch the eclipse! 🌙✨ The scenery is absolutely amazing. There’s also an awesome hang-gliding field nearby, where, if you’re feeling adventurous, you can even go up in a hang glider! 🪂 I had so much fun and honestly would stay forever if I could! Liz is absolutely wonderful and made the experience even better. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A Quiet Night, Farm Style

My husband found Rosendam Farm easily, given the clear instructions. Our schedules didn't work out to meet our hosts but our messages made us feel very welcome. This is a working horse farm so the field is rustic - it has been enjoyed by horsees & dogs too. We appreciated the level space.

Time on the ranch!

had the best time! Liz’s is a gracious host, warm kind and just caring toward everyone and everything! Liz is fantastic! The weather was perfect! Clear skies,we got to enjoy a meteor shower in the country sky that was amazing! Furthermore, I loves spending time with the horses, and Enrique’s, Her German Shepard! 10/10 experience! 10/10 recommendations!

Great couple days

We loved it there! Meeting the horses, the dogs and dapper cat Oliver was a definite plus. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets and the beautiful night sky full of stars. It’s near the place where tow planes take gliders up and they soar — so fun to watch! Don’t forget to visit the Pie Guy down the road for a wonderful treat! Liz and Leah are very hospitable — we felt at home and definitely will be back! It’s a definite plus that they’re remote, yet close to town.

A wonderful stay near Portland

Liz is such a kind and welcoming host. She is very helpful and clearly loves animals. I’m so happy I had the chance to stay on her farm during my time in Portland. The location is very convenient, with easy access to downtown, while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. Liz also has two beautiful horses, which made the experience even more special. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Liz was a wonderful host, accommodated us last minute and met us at the gate. Field is private and small amount of shade beneath 2 trees was just enough. Some road noise but didn’t bother us while sleeping. Ask Liz about the “pie guy” up the street who sells pies from his little fridge on his front deck, you leave cash.

Liz is a wonderful host, sharing her lovely farm with Hipcampers. We had a relaxing weekend and also enjoyed the Banks-Vernonia bike trail just one town up. The property is beautiful with friendly animals to visit too. Watching the gliders get towed out was a bonus. And we can’t forget The Pie Guy…you can find him on map app!

Beautiful horse farm within 10 minutes of Hillsboro. Great to wake up to the birds and the beautiful trees. Liz was extremely friendly and accomodating. We parked our camper in her pasture and enjoyed the privacy and rural setting.

We stayed in our Roadtrek Van under the apple tree in the grass field, it was relaxing with lots of birds singing. Liz was welcoming from the start, even sat down for a chat. Close enough to the highway for ease but traffic sounds were not bothersome. Would like to stay again & meet the horse/mules :)

Camping with the horses!

Liz not only shares her wonderful horse farm with travelers but also her vegetable gardens full of sweet tomatoes, eggplant, green beans, squash, cukes, and more. The setting is peaceful to look out on the horses in the pasture. Liz invited us to meet the horses, but our time didn’t allow for that. The Banks-Vernonia bike trailhead is close by-a 5 mile drive, it’s a great bike trail that goes for 20+ miles (we did 10 of the 20, so 20 RT)…and if that wasn’t enough I was able to book a facial with Liz who is also a fabulous aesthetician…after 6 weeks on the road, it was just what I needed! She is a great host, and just a lovely woman, we will definitely return!

Amazing experience. Private yet closer to the city, super friendly host, genuine, kids had a blast. The hosts went out of the way to help us with our RV needs. They were kind enough to share the fresh vegetables and let us use the farm sink. Great place and highly recommended.

Amazing and fun property. Great location. Quiet but not too secluded from everything. Liz was a fantastic host. She was very knowledgeable and genuine. See was so sweet to us and our kids. We loved going through the garden and picking fruits and vegetables to eat. And my kids absolutely loved being able to meet and pet the horses. It was a great experience!

This was a beautiful place to set up camp. We loved the location and Liz was very hospitable. We were able to choose between two places to camp. It was in a field of multiple grasses and flowers (for the pollinators), with a mowed area for our trailer. We had lots of privacy. Liz offered us produce upon our arrival. We left a day early, because the event we spectated ended sooner than anticipated. We will consider this place again next year.

Liz is incredibly knowledgeable about the land and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Our two pups quickly felt right as home too!!! We were greeted upon arrival and she even showed us her beautiful horses on the property. Would definitely recommend to other campers passing through the area. Thank you Liz!!!

My partner and I and our dogs all loved the stay in the glaming rv (so much we increased our stay). Everything functioned basically like a little apartment and the three side pull outs made it feel very spacious. The property is gorgeous, a great morning view to wake up to! Also not only were the horses were super fun to watch but it was great seeing how well taken care of they were by our host Liz. If there were a higher rating I’d give it.
