Scott and April were incredible hosts! This was my sister’s and my first day traveling in an RV and our first time having to park one, and they were so patient and helpful. They connected everything for us, walked us through the setup, and made sure we felt comfortable operating the RV on our own.
Their property is absolutely beautiful, and they truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They invited us over for coffee, shared fresh eggs from their chickens, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.
We couldn’t have asked for a better first RV experience. Highly recommend staying here!

We spent a lovely weekend at this spot, using it as a home base for wine tasting. The spot is very level and fully graveled. Tons of privacy and very quiet. I would highly recommend.

We loved our stay. It was so peaceful, with a beautiful field next door with a couple friendly cows. It nice to take our dog on a walk down the country road. The directions they provided made it a breeze to back in to the spot. We enjoyed the sitting area next to the RV space and the eggs they left for us when we arrived. Our hosts were very welcoming. We look forward to our next visit.

Red Door Farm is a great find. The setting is tranquil and quiet, and the site itself was easy to access and set up. Our hosts were very gracious and helpful throughout our stay; we really enjoyed the atmosphere they've created. Our only wish was that we could have stayed longer to get to know them better. We’re definitely going back next year.

April and Scott are terrific hosts. We really appreciate the care they took to make us feel welcome at their family farm. The site is tranquil and beautiful, and our two-night stay allowed us to spend a full day relaxing and enjoying the farm. Scott provided detailed directions for approaching and navigating on the property, and he helped us situate the rig to maximize our outside space on the passenger/entry door side. He provided us with a fresh-water hose (dispensing RO-filtered water) and, gratefully, an extension cable for the 30-amp service which I was able to reach easily with my shore cable.
We really appreciated the half-dozen eggs from their hens that April brought over shortly after we arrived. We loved feeding the chickens in their pen the next morning, not to mention marveling at their gorgeous tom turkey. We also picked several sweet and flavorful apples from their heritage trees.
Even though we were just across the lawn from the side of the house, the orientation of the rig allowed us abundant privacy on our side, where we enjoyed the provided dining table set and Adirondack chairs. The gravel pad is level and sits right at the edge of the property, adjacent to a neighboring farm with resident cows. Three of them wandered over in the morning, and following Scott’s suggestion we fed them apples from the ground on his farm, crushed a bit and broken in half. The sweet creatures loved the treats and we enjoyed feeding them.
The morning of our departure, with April’s permission, we picked small but delicious end-of-season raspberries. We also collected several small, intricate cones from the ground under the majestic fir trees on the property.
Scott and April’s hospitality was awesome, and our visit was a blissful respite in the midst of a very intense three-week itinerary. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay with them again if we find ourselves returning to the region.

We had a wonderful stay here. The hosts were incredibly friendly and super communicative. The space is well laid out and while it is a short drive to vineyards and restaurants, you truly feel like you are in the country and it is very peaceful. 10/10 recommend.

Our first Hipcamp experience at Red Door Barn was nothing short of magical. Tucked away in the heart of the Willamette Valley, this little gem exceeded every expectation we had.
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family. April greeted us, with fresh farm eggs, and even hand-picked berries.
Scott let our kids hop on and drive the ttractor.A dream come tough for our little ones!
The amenities were top-notch: full electric and water hookups, plus a super convenient 24-hour dump station just minutes away.
The kids fed chickens, enjoyed the setting, and played corn hole while we relaxed at the comfortable table with a glass of local wine.
We made memories we’ll carry forever, and we’re already planning our return.

April and Scott are five star hosts - clear communicators, very welcoming, and even shared history of the farm. The land itself is tucked away from the hustle and bustle, easy to back in and turn around our 20-ft trailer, and great farm animals and wildlife. Our kids enjoyed feeding the chickens and turkey named Junior. Delicious farm fresh eggs too! We all appreciated our cow-munching companions during meal time. And we spotted deer as well as a red tail hawk that landed just a couple feet from our trailer. We will definitely be back- thanks so much April and Scott!

This place is simply lovely! The hosts greeted us with a bottle of bubbly and treats because they knew it was our honeymoon trip! Greeted by cows and birdsong in the morning. Easy spot to find, park and just done well. Take advantage of the eggs for a great breakfast!

Good place to overnight in an area that doesn’t have a lot of camping options. April was on top of communication and made sure we got situated and had what we needed. We met her husband in the morning who was also kind and attentive. Everything was as stated and the night was peaceful.

We really enjoyed staying at Red Door Farm. It was a great place to relax after being on the road all day. The host offered power and water for our camper and the flat level gravel spot required no leveling. The farm fresh eggs were a treat and there were apples to eat and feed to the cows. We would definitely recommend staying here while in the area.

Lovely and fun setting that was great for our young kids. We had fun feeding the chickens, being visited by the neighboring cows, and swinging under the apple trees. The hosts are incredibly kind and accommodating. I love that this site is so close to all the Yamhill County fun, and such an easy drive to the city RV dump site.

Communications from the initial booking to departure day were timely and helpful.
The site, billing, and amenities are exactly as presented. No surprises. Both April and Scott greeted us upon arrival. They made sure we had what we needed and then let us enjoy our time. The rural location is nice: a quiet, farming area with easy access to town and local sites/wineries/vineyards, etc. The RV pad is level with electric and water easily accessible.
Pretty sure we’ll be back.

Fantastic spot! Easy to back straight into, your door will face a nice patio area with seating so it feels super private. Quick drive into two different smalls towns and a short drive up to Portland. April was an amazing host and I always appreciate farm fresh eggs! Would absolutely stay again.

From the time we arrived at this lovely farm, we felt very welcomed. Scott came out to meet us as we were pulling in the driveway and helped us back in our trailer - he was super friendly and even lent my husband a tool to fix an unfortunate event with the underlining of our trailer coming off during our travels.
Our girls, aged 11 and 12, loved seeing and feeding the cows (there was even a calf!) in the adjoining pasture, with Scott showing the girls how to feed them. The girls also thoroughly enjoyed feeding and walking amongst the chickens and turkeys.
We met April the morning we were set to leave, and she was lovely - telling us to take our time to make the needed repairs, and invited the girls to pick tomatoes in their garden.
If we ever find ourselves in the area again, this will be a must stay again for us!

April is wonderful. She was there to greet us after we were settled with fresh eggs in hand. She was knowledgeable of the area and gave great suggestions for stuff to do. She was very quick to respond to any questions we had through the app. The property is beautiful and full of life. The kiddos loved to see the chickens and turkeys, April provided feed for the kids entertainment. She even offered to take them into the pens so they could help collect the eggs. Our son has not stopped talking about it. We seen several deer in the evening and enjoyed the cows and calf in the neighboring pasture. The camp and the property was very clean. We enjoy our stay very much. We plan to come back soon and enjoy the wine country and plan to book ahead for softball season. April, thank you for your hospitality, we appreciate the experience. Hope to see you again soon.
