Weekend Trip to Kilchis River Retreat

What a beautiful location and great cabin! Gorgeous views and scenery and one of the best campgrounds we have visited on Hipcamp. Sarah and Michael were amazing and made our stay extra fun and memorable. They have 3 beautiful cats that hung out with us as well! I would recommend highly and it is a 10/10 stay for me. Weekend Trip to The Flying F Ranch Bunkhouse

Brent and Tabatha, were very kind and they made the whole process of finding the bunker super simple. Everything was just as advertised, and there was plenty of firewood, they made sure the generator had plenty of fuel, and the land and the scenery is absolutely gorgeous.

Super cute cabin right by the river. Hosts were amazing!! Friendly helpful and so great to talk to! Plus the informal cat hosts were adorable! Close to town but still a good forest camping vibe. I will definitely be going back!! <3 :-)

Absolutely loved our stay camping on the Longhorn farm in Tillamook! The setting was stunning — surrounded by lush green pastures, the peaceful water right at our doorstep, and the most beautiful longhorn bulls to admire. The camp site itself is thoughtfully set up with picnic tables and a firepit — perfect for evenings under the stars. Watching the Longhorns graze nearby added such a unique, relaxing vibe to the whole experience. If you’re looking to unwind, enjoy beautiful scenery, and soak in a bit of farm life with all the comforts of a trailer, this spot is a hidden gem. We can’t wait to come back!

We loved bringing our 24 ft trailer up to Celestine Fields for the weekend. Their friendly doggo played with our pup and we had a great view from our spot. We also saw plenty of wildlife including a dozen deer bound across the field. The smell of the sweet grass was delightful!

Love this lil bunkhouse, loved the property, love the hosts. Beautiful rolling hills and pasture land. We had everything we needed in the bunkhouse for the weekend. We brought our camp bins and with those we were set. Bring all your camp kitchen. And your own water. They had 3 cots and we brought our camp mattress. We had a wonderful time and will be back. Bonus, 2 wineries right near the property. Thank you Tabitha and Brent

I’ve stayed at many yurts in my life, but nothing comes close to comparing to Carly’s place. Every need is taken care of. The surrounding grounds are beautiful and the trails make for peaceful hiking. Every night we had a roaring fire and stayed so warm and comfortable. Our dog was the happiest he’s ever been. The bathroom is incredibly luxurious for camping and I can’t wait for the sauna to open up soon! We will be coming back

Beautiful setup. The yurt has all the amenities and yet still feels like camping. It’s exactly what we were looking for. I can tell that the owners really put their heart into this build. Their property is big enough to roam around, and it’s fun to see the animals (both wild and tame). We especially liked Dandy the sheep!

We have a tasting room onsite where we serve cider, perry and wine that we make here (open Fri-Sun, 3-9pm in summer). Lots of great bird watching, beautiful gardens and great backdrop of the coast Range. We host a summer concert series, usually on Saturdays, so those days are blocked. Learn more about our land: In the heart of Willamette Valley AVA and on a breezy 20-acre lot of land we provide a space for you to set yourself up and enjoy life's natural bounty. We offer a small shared space with a wood fire stove and some essential items, many games (such as horseshoes), and lots of picnic areas and tables sprinkled throughout the property. The location is central and half an hour to just minutes away from water bodies Hagg Lake, Nestucca River, Yamhill River, little Niagara Falls, Mill Creek, Baker Creek, Rainbow Lake and more… Such as the Carlton public pool. If your looking to jaunt from camp a little further, we are located a little over an hour and a beautiful drive to the Pacific Coast and about an hour from Portland. Although in the middle of the country woods, we are surprisingly only two and a half miles from the adorable and quaint town of Carlton. So beside the views, you’ll be alongside some fantastic eateries and outstanding winemakers. Being raised in the community, and over ten years of experience in the local food and wine industry, I can give recommendations aplenty. ꕥ The property has been in our family since the late 60’s and has recently been transferred in ownership to the next generation! It’s been a large adjustment with many precious memories in tow. In hopes to carry on the legacy we opened up camp mid-summer 2021, and it’s a work in progress (as work normally is!), but has been a beautiful experience being in a position to share. There are two family homes on the property with people who truly admire this land we have been given so we do ask you to respect our process in this adjustment, as we miss our grandparents and parents who have worked their entire lives for us to be here. With the work of these past couple seasons, and thanks to our fellow campers, we have been able to lay more gravel, get a more fluid bathroom situation established, and have purchased a 20ft stargazing tent that is in the works of being listed this season! If you prefer a private setting you can put up a tent on the west end of the property, or chose the comfort of staying in our rustic cabin. There is no electricity or running water in the cabin, however a generator can be rented if it is desired. Potable water is also available if you bring a jug to fill. A portable toilet is available on-site. Take advantage of the opportunity to go fishing, swimming, or launch your boat/kayak/tube. Alternatively, simply relax and enjoy the picturesque views of the river and the wildlife in the coastal rainforest. Watch the salmon jump during spawning season in November. We are also a birdwatcher's and rockhounding paradise! Located in the Willamette Valley, where route 240 and 47 meet is the small town of Yamhill. just 3 miles out of town there is a 66 acre farm with forest covered hills, rolling hay fields and a small seasonal creek. We welcome you to come enjoy some peaceful rest on our farm. We have 2 camp sites available and more coming soon nestled in the trees across the open hay field where you can watch wildlife. each site has access to the composting toilet, has their own picnic table, fire ring, access to water, and some extras like hay that can be used for under tents, kindling to help start your fire, a fire extinguisher, access to a propane fire ring during fire danger season, and a few yard games. we do have fire wood available to purchase as well as farm fresh eggs. the camp sites are seasonal and most will be closed for the wet winter months. they will be open from June to September, depending on the weather we may need to adjust the access to the sites. at times they may be walk in only (about 200ft walk) or four wheel drive access only as they are in a low area of the farm and do not wish anyone to get stuck. if access has been changed I will notify you as soon as I can with an update. you are welcome to walk around during your stay, pick some blackberries, apples or plums but please be aware and careful as we do have some poison oak on the property. I encourage you to stay on a path. please message me if you would like a tour of the farm we have a horse boarding stable, rabbits, chickens and goats ( for your safety please do not enter any barns or pastures without permission , preferable accompanied) you can see and hear some of the animals but most are far enough away that they are not disturbing.
