Looking for solitude? Look no further! This Quaint cabin is nestled in the peace and quiet of the north woods just a few miles from Big Bay, MI. It is equipped with a large propane fridge, wall mounted lanterns that run off the big tanks around back and a sauna just steps from the cabin. There are dozens of good hikes in the area including alder falls (about a mile down the 2-track) and Thomas Rock just acrossed County rd 510. Both are short hikes with high rewards. Trail maps and books will be left on the table. There are some great mountain biking trails skirting the northern border of the 40! And also a great spot for snowmobiling and cross country skiing as there are great networks of trails nearby as well!

Peacefulness at it's finest!
What an AMAZING time my wife and I had together at Glenn's little piece of Heaven tucked WAY back in the woods. With absolutely no cell phone (we have Att/cricket), no power and no water - it gave us some much needed time to sit back, relax and do a "brain reset". Word of caution: You will NOT MAKE IT if you have anything less than a Taller SUV, pickup or something with at least 8-10" of clearance and don't mind getting a scratch or two on your vehicle. Some sand and some washed out areas make it not possible (in my opinion) for a passenger car. Glenn was a Class A host, meeting us there, giving us a brief history on the place and showing us around. It was our honor to be his first guests! And, we will be back.
