PRIVATE WOODED TENT GETAWAY! 8 Acres of wooded property with beautiful trails and clearings for tent camping. Deer, rabbits and much fawna can be seen on our property. Owners are on site for any assistance. Flushing porta potty with privacy tent on property with toilet paper and sanitizer. Three miles from downtown South Haven for shopping, beaches and a wide array of summer fun for you and the whole family. Just 4 miles away is Lake Arvesta. A great summer sports lake with lots of activities. Horseback riding a few miles away. Check in is from 2:00pm to 8:00 pm. Exceptions can be made in advance. If you desire a late check in without preauthorization, choose late check in for extras. In case you don't choose this option a $50 comfort option will be assessment will be included

Shady Hideaway

Great visit in South Haven

Absolutely beautiful spot with several great locations to camp. Francesco was a great host. Minutes from downtown South Haven you can't ask for a better place to spend a few nights

The Ritz

This spot was excellent! Franc was a great host. He greeted us when we arrived and loaded all our gear into his trailer and delivered it to our camp site for us. Our site was nice and spacious with a picnic table and a good sized fire pit. The grounds here our beautiful with plenty of trails to hike around on. Even though it was very wooded the bugs here were not bad (almost non existent). Franc’s spot is just under 10 minutes from downtown South Haven which made it perfect to go catch a sunset on Lake Michigan but still make it back in time to have a campfire. We definitely plan on coming back next summer!

The Deer Grove

Frank was a very hospitable host (and an excellent breakfast chef to boot!) The camp sites on his property are spaced enough for seclusion, but still an easy walk from the parking. The location is also convenient to the interstate (noise is hardly noticeable) and a friendly neighborhood watering hole. We will be back!

The Deer Grove

Oh my! Such a cute area, safe, peaceful, and affordable. My friend and I stayed here for one night and it was so easy and so nice. There was another family there as well, but it was so private we didn't even notice they were there. Definitely would recommend and come here again! Franc was also so amazing and kind. 10/10

Shady Hideaway

Fantastic experience!

We loved our time here! Frank was so kind and helpful, the campground was immaculate, and we loved the trails. There were other campers, but the sites are really spread out, so it still felt secluded. Overall, it was wonderful and we definitely plan to camp here again!

The Secret Garden Super Secluded

We had a great time camping on Frank's property. Once you are behind the house and garage there's a large wooded area that they carved out multiple sites, looks like most camp sites and feels like you are out in the forest not someone's back yard. Frank was very responsive and helpful. Also, basically a 5 min drive to downtown South Haven. Couldn't ask for much more, will definitely be back.
