Sleep to the sound of tree frogs, owls, distant coyotes, and maybe even wake to sounds of chickens in the morning. Walk thru a glitter of fire flies down a trail at night. My black lab Luke will likely visit your site to say hello and is super chill. 2 disc golf Black Hole Pro baskets on site to practice with. Only 30 minutes east of Grand Rapids, this property was established as a Youth Camp for 15 years is now a private event venue and campground, so it has nice amenities like FULL restrooms, a picnic shelter, and even a few small cabins that can be rented. Swimming beach is available in Lowell a few miles away. Fishing rivers and lakes are also in the area. (live bait in Saranac) Woods site and Open Area have a few different locations you can choose from. If woods or open shows booked already, please contact me. Additional fee of $20 per extra tent/camper that sleeps an adult. Picnic shelter is also available. Use my website to RSVP entire camp area for an event such as wedding.

Woods

Nice, quiet place. Was just there over the weekend. Not the typical campsite. Alot smaller, to me, that's better. Stephen stopped by a few time to talk to us. Luke and Kiwi are the greatest dogs ever! Both Luke and Kiwi stayed at our site most of the day and night. My kids and I are already planning another trip there.

Scenic and relaxing

Cute and beautiful place! A lot of fun trails, state park was close by for more hiking and swimming. Bonus that even though it was something so rural feeling there were still bathrooms and showers! It was cool to see the original camp scattered around, it felt very welcoming nostalgic. I will definitely be returning at some point ♥️

Open Areas

Beautiful, Spacious, Peaceful

I highly recommend this campsite. The sites are sizeable, well kept and nature-filled. The surrounding areas are beautiful and the fireflies were everywhere during our stay. There are working showers with hot water and flushing toilets. The cabins have a fairly comfortable bed, hot plates and a fridge, which are great conveniences to have and are such a fair price. There is a gas station a few minutes away. Communication was quick, kind and accommodating (call the number on the shed across from the bathrooms instead of the app for quicker communication). And to top it off there are two wonderful dogs who come and chill with you (they seemed well trained to not enter the cabin). Overall it was a perfect stay and we hope to return again. Open Areas

We had a great experience. Open space, secluded and still close to town. Would highly recommended this spot as Stephen was a great host.

Unorganized and lack of communicati

We accidentally booked for the wrong dates and tried to cancel but with the no refund policy we just deceived to still stay. When we got there, there was a campfire still on as well as someone else’s stuff. We messaged the host and they didn’t answer. We thought it was the wrong place so we went around to I think the owners house and he told us there was a wedding the day before. That’s fine and all but why would you make your cabin available if it wasn’t clean and ready? I wanted to leave but my gf begged me to stay so we did. There was cobwebs everywhere and it wasn’t clean so we had to sleep in our car. The host was kind but I didn’t like the lack of communication or that it wasn’t prepared. We actually left around 1am bc I didn’t see the point of staying somewhere where I was just sleeping in my car.
