Had a great stay. We stopped for an over night on our way to the U.P. and then again on the way back. I would love to come back for a music festival.
if you are looking a basic minimal semi rustic place this is it. Quiet place. we pretty much had the whole camp to ourselves

The cabin is spacious and stays cool under the trees. I loved the quietness of the forest and the great variety of birds. The chipmunks and I shared the deck together. I’ll definitely go back

My favorite place to go camping. If you don’t want a crowded campground this is the place! Property is expansive with so many different paths to take a quiet nature walk or lengthy hike. The property is clean and well maintained. My dogs have all loved camping here. Night skies are perfect for star watching. Even the smoke from Canada made some unique and beautiful sunset photo ops this weekend. Then at night the coyotes will serenade you in the distance as you sit by the fire. It’s a perfect place to unplug and truly connect.

We loved our long weekend camping on the Bliss land. We reserved sites 6&7 for a group of 6 people - 3 cars, 3 tents, and a dog. It was so peaceful and quiet. The sun rises behind the trees so you get beautiful afternoon/evening sun and unbelievable sunsets. The showers and porta potty were just a short walk away and the fresh cold well water was amazing.

We enjoyed staying in the Cabin 1. It was clean and perfect size for a couple with a dog. The washrooms were clean. The location is very convenient to make day trips to everywhere close by. (Historic Fishtown in Leland the Mackinaw Island, Traverse city, the Earl Young's Mushroom Houses, Tunnel of Trees scenic drive ) beautiful area to discover and enjoy what they offered. We had a Hungarian Mudi sheepdog enjoyed the freedom in the green fields. I describe this place that Freedom -Nature-Music as an old time 'hippi camp for everyone who loves being in nature. Thanks for your hospitality.

Had the place pretty much all to ourselves… open field, quiet, and beautiful starry skies. Bathrooms were a huge bonus and super clean! Potable water was a nice amenity… would definitely stay here again!

Loved the wide open spaces of the camp sites and the available flush toilets and solar showers on site (we did not use the showers but great addition when camping). Saw deer upon arrival and it was very peaceful with a beautiful review of the stars and Milky Way <3

Great property!! Apparently busy during the actually festival, but we almost had the place to ourselves on a random weekend! Nice bathrooms, access to water, pretty trails in the woods. Pretty remote so there were quite a few animals around, including howling coyotes at night.

I absolutely loved tent camping with my husband for our anniversary beautiful land tons of trails we stayed at site 16 which is the farthest from the bathroom but not too far doable I even enjoyed the solar showers which I thought would be weird but was so refreshing the host was so sweet and I will definitely be going back we went to be close to the Headlands Dark Sky Park but didn't need to go because you could see the Milky way from there
Don't forget to visit the little town of cross village tunnel of trees drive is there just 8 minutes from the site along with al short .5 mile trail down to the beach beautiful view

My partner and I LOVED tent camping here!! So much beautiful land to explore as well as local entertainment. Bathrooms were kept clean, and our solar showers were surprisingly warm!!

The site(s) are 20’x20’ festival style camping. There’s no real staff from the property, just the camp host who was very accommodating. I would assume it’s never busy except during Blissfest. Anyone looking to camp near Mackinaw, Wilderness State Park, or find yourself passing through the tip of Michigan’s lower peninsula this property has you covered.

It was nice and quiet. Others got up earlier than us and we never heard them. Fellow campers very respectful. Loved the flush toilets!! Thank you for having them available. I truly hope ithers will be responsible so this can continue as an option v

Nice campground. Even had some rustic showers .....I feel like this place can be rocking at times! Quiet when I was there. Only complaint would be the
tall weeds throughout site made it feel like bugs constantly. And since no cell phone service better wifi would be nice

We loved this campground. Quiet with dark skies and the Milky Way above us. Convenient access to water and a flush toilet. The North Country Trail runs through the camp providing respite for anyone walking the Wilderness State Park to Petoskey or the Bridge. Jade was a helpful and friendly host. We will be back.

Jade was phenomenal! Our trip was nothing short of absolutely stellar! Our car broke down from trying to use the headlights to put up our tent in the dark. Well, our alternator died and Jade was so sweet to drive us into town to get parts to fix our car. She even took us through the tunnel of trees on the way back to the campground! That was amazing because it was one of the things we were going to do that day. Looking forward to our next camping trip there and looking forward to Blissfest now too! BEST CAMPING TRIP EVER!!!!

Fantastic site, really lovely to walk around the empty festival area, the portaloos are really well maintained, the sites have plenty of room and the campfires are great. The one night we were there the stars were really visible and the moon was fantastic, really feels like you are one with nature 😁 we arrived quite late so had a bit of hard time finding the entrance but totally worth it! Would definitely recommend and we would have loved to stay longer if we had more time. Thanks for having us!

I loved my Blissfest stay! There were other people on the property but we were pretty secluded from them so if you like privacy this cabin was great! We loved exploring the property and it was only a half hour from Mackinaw City! I will keep Bliss in mind for my next trip up north!

We had a great night at this camp! They provide complimentary wood for the camp fire. The bathrooms were close to us and they even had showers.
We were lucky to get a clear night, so the stars were out. Gorgeous view!

As a whole we loved the spot and the access to flushing toilets and WiFi at the main building, but the scattered site equipment like picnic tables, trash bins, spare stairs, etc was a bit off putting. It may have just been due to the time we visited (Labor Day weekend) but the whole campground was silent and we felt a bit isolated (again, just because people were not there). It was extremely dark and difficult to navigate to the restrooms without some extra red or dim lighting in the surrounding area. I think we freaked ourselves out a bit. Besides that, there is lots to explore and we saw lots of deer!

The blissfest site is beautiful! Very well maintained amenities, it was lovely being amongst the forest and walking around the stages from the festival. It was a little hard to find on Google maps but that’s probably because we arrived at night. We would love to stay there again and come back for the festival. Quite far from any shops so make sure to bring everything you need with you.

The cabin at Blissfest was exactly what we were looking for. The area was very quiet and the cabin had a ton of space for us. We were able to relax, take walks on the trails, and be covered when it rained. Exactly the place we were looking for!
