Natures Peaceful Place
This site is peaceful and secluded. We liked the fact of no people. We enjoyed it and Todd was great to deal with. We will be back if we are back in this area.

Passing through
What a great site close to everything and convenient! If wanting to camp nearby Mackinaw City, wanting power, I recommend staying here & the price is reasonable!

Private and great location
This was a great location to visit mackinaw island and city. The driveway has a bit of a sharp turn but we just backed in from the street. Luckily it wasn’t too busy. Very peaceful and private. There is also a cool brewery right before the Hipcamp that has amazing food and craft beer! Yummm Mackinaw island did not disappoint either. Loved every bit, even my $23 mojito at the Grand Hotel!

Natures Peaceful Place
Peaceful and close to the sights
What a beautiful, quite little oasis that is just moments from everything we Mackinac. Our 41 ft 5th wheel fit fine with room to spare-- just make sure you back in if you're rig is large. There is a fire ring, 2 tables and a swing. There is a safe area for kids to play and a gate to block off the road to keep the kids in and the help the spot feel more private. The road is a little busy (not for kids to just ride bikes on) but it didn't bother us at all. We put up a tent that had a nice level spot. You are 2 easy miles to the Mackinac Island ferry (the host can offer discounted tickets), 3 miles from the Mackinac Bridge and 4 miles to the Headland Dark Sky area. Every thing is very convenient. Todd is a wonderful host: kind, responsive, knowledgeable and not 'hovering' over you. 100% would stay again.
Hint: if you need water or dump the Citgo gas station just a mile away has water ($5) and dump ($10) and is maneuverable for big rigs. The KOA is also less than a mile and will probably allow you to use their amenities if you call.
