Nice spot. Secluded feeling. Light traffic noise, which did not detract from the cozy vibes.
Plenty of sitting chairs and a lovely porch swing. Nice grassy area included, and a well cleaned porta-toilet. Would stay here again.

Had a great time at Todd's place. Was a great base camp for visiting Mackinaw City & Mackinac Island. Was convient, affordable, plenty of space for several tents, pet friendly and had electricity and a port a potty. We would definitely stay again if we need a place to stay in the area.

The site is great. Theres space for 3-4 tents. It's right off of the road so it's easy to access. There's an electrical hook up and a convenient tall light that can illuminate the site with a switch if you come back late. It's a short drive to downtown Mackinaw city and the dark sky park. I would definitely camp here again!

This campsite was exactly what I was looking for. It was close to everything (shopping and sightseeing).
The mosquitos were bad in this a
Particular area but with the right product they did not bother us at all. We opted in for a more natural cedar wood and citronella oil based repellant and it worked better than anything I have used in past. Very helpful at this location.
There is noise, but as someone who always has some background noise (fan, tv, etc.) it didn’t affect us any.
There was wood right next to lot for sale (for those who do not bring their own) at $5.00 a bundle with fire starters as an option as well.
Overall I would recommend the stay to others, and was very content.

The set up is wonderful and very welcoming. Quick response for reserving. The mosquitos were very bad that night. The road noise was somewhat hard to sleep through.

Very peaceful, spacious, lovely. I did not hear any highway noise, as mentioned, got a great night's sleep! The only issue, after much rain, there were bugs, mosquitoes. Just bring bug spray, I forgot. Other than that issue, I would recommend the spacious site and its close proximity to the ferry. Enjoyed my time here

Perfect for needing to be near town and not wanting to pay tourist trap prices for unclean rooms which is 90% of what’s in the area. Loved this little hidden gem and a perfect wood spot next door. Thank you for making my holiday planning much easier!

Perfect spot to explore the area, just 5 minutes to Mackinaw City and the bridge, Todd was very accommodating, allowing 2 RV’s to stay. 45’ truck/trailer(need to back in-no issues) and. 25’ Class C. Site has power (50/30/20) and very nicely fixed up just like your backyard deck. Couldn’t ask for a nicer place to return to after a day of exploring.

Great place to stay with our teardrop camper. We booked on short notice to split up a long drive. Very convenient access off I-75 right by the bridge. Easy in and out with a teardrop trailer. Had a porta potty, electric, a light, fire pit, chairs, trashcan. Private enough, although it is close to the road and a house is visible close by on one side. If it's available the next time we pass through on our way to the UP we will definitely stay again!

We enjoyed the private site and easy access. There was a fire ring, table, chairs and a swing. Plenty of room for our 43' motorhome, tow vehicle and another camper van.
Entrance was clearly marked, we did unhook our tow vehicle before getting to the site.
We backed in from the road, there was no room to turn around in the actual site
You heard road noise during the day, not so much at night.
Great location to explore the Island.

Nature’s Peaceful Place couldn't have better proximity to Mackinaw City! It was so simple getting around from the site! As other reviewers mentioned there is highway noise, but you’re still in a little pocket of nature- a great place to sit around a fire after a busy day.

The perfect quiet spot to use as a basecamp to visit Mackinac Island. We stayed in our 31 travel trailer. If you're in a travel trailer, you'll want to back up from the road. There's plenty of room to back in, and I just waited for the cars to pass by. There was a bit of a shoulder to pull off on, so it wasn't a big deal. There was a really nice grass area that our dog Grippy enjoyed.

Todd's slice of land was a great place to pitch a tent for the night. There was a nice, flat and soft grassy area. The biffy was nice and clean and was nice for going to the bathroom. It's also nice and convenient to Mackinaw City. The road noise was loud but I slept pretty well

Great piece of land for a camp site. Very close to town and right along the main road. I arrived in a storm and dealt with it all night in the tent. But the property is as advertised and would make a great place for a tent or RV. Big recommend.

Such an easy stop off on our way home to WI from Traverse City. Port-a-potty was nice and perfect setup for a great night fire without having to unpack a thing. Makes for a nice alternative way to get to the Mackinac bridge too. The sounds of birds around us and the dense foliage was nice and felt like we were much more secluded than we were!

This is our second time staying at this campsite, it is great for the dogs because we have so much room and we have the site all to ourselves :) it’s also so close to so many attractions. We went for a bike ride, saw the Saturday evening fireworks and cruised over the bridge to the uS 2 beaches.

It's a single campsite on private property and has a nice bright yard light controlled by a switch on the pole and there's an electric hookup as well. No water and the bathroom is a portable potty. Quiet and peaceful but can hear cars on the road intermittently. This campsite is great for a more rugged experience. If you want glamping bring your own glamping.

Great location and felt private, the nights were quiet even with the proximity to the road. Was great place to use as a Basecamp for our visit to Mackinac Island. The porta-john was a bit overdue for a cleaning but better than nothing. Overall would recommend.
