Had a great time tent camping on Kym and Shawn's land. Property was beautiful with wonderful hiking trails. Very relaxing weekend away from the world. No amenities but it's not a problem if you come prepared. If you don't the town is only a few minutes away.

Weekend Trip to Thousand S.’s Land

A thousand percent hands down would return to Thousand Suns ,the host was accommodating ,the land was beautiful a thing to be admitted by the bonfire in the morning as deers run through the field as you sip your coffee, hearing hawks distinct voice overhead as you travel through the trails of the property or the laid back serenity depicted by the aura of the Morning Star Camper , a blast to wake up and see turkeys and chickens running around as you open your eyes after a rest there ,by far one of the most enjoyable camping trips,highly recommend a place to travel to,top of my list for a nice getaway for the weekend from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Weekend Trip to White Pine Farm HipCamping

We loved our stay on Pete and Olga’s property! Our host was easy to communicate when reach out for our ETA so they could lead us over to the campsite, and when we met they were very kind. The site itself was spacious and in a nice wooded area, with a firepit and picnic table as advertised. Community outhouse was just a short walk away and was very clean. I would recommend a 4WD vehicle to get to the site if it has been wet out.

3 nights at Dancing Willow Farm

Location was easy to find and in a perfect spot for my fishing trip. We were able to park the boat and camper with a whole field to spare. Christopher was easy to contact and always replied quickly with any questions. He let us know that the fireplace was there for us and to use any wood as he had plenty. Unfortunately we were unable to make use due to our schedule. The place is beautiful with chickens running around and in a field of dandelions. Would 100% stay again next time I'm in the area.

And it’s absolutely perfect for our group. From the communication to the lay of the land and the outhouse, the site has everything you need for a great night of camping. The site is open enough to play catch, frisbee or any kind of lawn game. Plenty of trees to hammock and plenty of flat areas to tent. There is a sled where you park so you can pull your gear to the site, we appreciated that. Just an overall great experience with thoughtful hosts!

2 nights at Mulligan's Valley in the Woods

Hi, everyone. This isn't a camping 🏕️ ground's it's a magical forest:) this was the best experience of my life. I felt so safe and warm. The trees are beautiful. The animals, were so kind but they kept a safe distance. The outhouse was super clean. I had a hard time setting up my tent and the staff,were super cool, they help us set up camp. I literally can't express, the experience. Go visit. My children were safe. No hazards or lose trees. There lays a beautiful trail perfectly detailed. I wished, I actually, lived at this, campground. It was like the trees were protecting our from the nasty outside world. We forgot about everything bad. I have never gotten better sleep in my life. I give this place 5 starts. A+ ++

Weekend Trip to Waymeet Homestead

We made a spontaneous decision to do a winter tent camping trip and immediately wanted to try this because the tent had a stove already. Jason was very gracious to accommodate us. We brought wood and blankets, but he also gave us extra blankets and started us with a pile of wood as well. He even setup an area heater to keep us warm while we got the stove up and running to heat the tent, which was very thoughtful. The stove heated the tent really nicely. We also had a great time exploring the grounds and meeting the Yaks. Overall it was a great experience and we will be back in the Spring to check out the other sites around the natural pool!

1 night at Nature and Nurture Farm

We spent a night at Michael's place for a video shooting project and it was great experience! Michael gave us a tour upon arrival and it was very informative. There is an electrical hookup on site and away from the house which gave us privacy. And the portapotty nearby was very clean. Michael was very responsive and helpful when we had questions later that day. Highly recommended anyone wanting to enjoy the nature while still having the convenience of electrical hookup.

2 nights at Camping on our Organic Farm

What a beautiful property! we loved waking up to the horses in the field. Doreen was very accommodating and helpful. The property was clean and the outhouse was well kept. She was very kind with our kids and even showed us how she cared for her cow and horses. We stayed 2 nights because we were passing through but wish we could’ve stayed longer it was such a nice little paradise. Would highly recommend for anyone who’s looking for a little bit of farm life and tranquility. Thank you Doreen and family for your hospitality. We wish you all the very best.

The area is filled with opportunity to explore including 15 minutes to Lake Huron beaches, Black River Kayaking (launch site 5 minutes), hiking trails, State parks, National forest, historic Yale and Croswell, u-pick farms and orchards, abundant wildlife and natural landscape. There is a small motorcycle track on the property as well and riders are welcome. This is strictly rustic camping on your own, I live in the tiny house and you are able to choose your site anywhere on the property. There are no facilities for use at all. You are responsible to bring everything needed. No more than 2 nights are allowed. 1 tent per site no more than 4 people to a tent, Extra persons is another site and limited to one tent and 4 people. No limit on number of sites. There are residential homes and quiet time is strictly 10pm until 8am, Fires are allowed. All garbage and waste must be removed and will be charged for failure of properly removing any garbage and waste.

Our property is a small private campground. We have 30/20 amp electricity and water on each site. A dump station is available. We are in a suburban location that we describe as countryish. The campground is a park like setting with mature trees. The grounds are mostly shady with some areas of sun. We have a large community fire pit. We wouldn't describe our location as a place that you would want to camp at for an extended period. Our place would be a good place to try out sleeping in an RV. You can rent one of ours and stay in it a night or two to see if you like the idea of RV camping. Our place would be a great spot to stop off at for a night while passing through or attending a nearby event.
