Walk-In Tent Camp
Tom and Julie were excellent host! From booking this location last second, every minute my friends and I spent here was memorable. The host greeted us upon arrival and we’re plenty helpful getting us accustomed to the land, to recommending hiking and other local activities. Although there was heavy rain for the majority of the weekend, we came prepared with the necessary equipment and even had Tom check on us Saturday night to see how we’re holding up. To his surprise we had our tent covered with tarps and our canopy set up covering our equipment while we cooked around the camp fire and exchanged stories. My friends and I definitely will be booking this location in the spring and invite others to try out this hidden gem 😬

Camp 1 North Meadow - RV/Tent
Fall camping
We had an amazing time. We slept under the sky full of stars and a beautiful moon. The view of the land was spectacular. WARNING!! Don’t steal woods, just do the right thing and pay for what you use. Poor couple blamed us for somebody else’s mess. We paid for our woods. Go check it out!!!!

Relaxing Getaway!
My boyfriend and I booked a last minute stay here and we absolutely loved it! It was very private and secluded from the other sites. Tom was kind enough to show us around the area and gave us a big warm welcome. We will definitely be going back!

Camp 1 North Meadow - RV/Tent
Mid eek stay
Campsite #1 was nice and secluded from the other sites. We were glad to hear from the hosts that there is no global warming. If you need to resupply it is minuets from the city of Pinckney. During the day we were not delighted to hear small planes from a nearby flight school endlessly circling overhead but at night the sounds of Sandhill Cranes, Owls and a pack of Coyotes singing made us forget. There are many recreation activities available at nearby State and County parks so this is a perfect place for a night or two to stage your adventure.
