Lovely site and host!
Victoria was a lovely host! She gave us excellent driving / arriving directions. The site was private and charming - lots of birds and butterflies. We enjoyed exploring the property on the mowed trails. We appreciated that Victoria provided a wagon for us to bring our gear to the site and had firewood available for purchase. We look forward to visiting Earth Colours in the future.

Serenity at EarthColors Farm
Peaceful and pristine describes our stay at EarthColors Farm. Our kind host, Phil, welcomed my husband and I to the property upon our arrival, and immediately made us feel right at home.
During our stay at EarthColors Farm, we tented in a campsite that overlooked a gorgeous waterway. The campsite was impeccably well-maintained, and came equipped with a picnic table, fire-ring, and access to a simple, outdoor toilet. Phil also graciously offered to set up a solar shower for us.
What impressed my husband and I the most about this Hipcamp was its level of preservation. Sound ecological principles form the groundwork of EarthColors Farm and it was truly a joy to learn more about Phil’s approach to land stewardship.
If you love nature, this Hipcamp will certainly put a smile on your face. Features like a rain-water garden and a scenic walking loop are accessible as you make your way to the relaxing hammock and canopy area. A small apiary is also on-site, and my husband and I were delighted to learn more about bees and their fascinating attributes. Thank you, Phil!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at EarthColors Farm, and would definitely recommend this Hipcamp to our closest friends. Thank you for your hospitality, Phil. It was a pleasure meeting you.

The views were beautiful and it was easy to find. The tent was very spacious. The couple was very nice and helped us with everything we needed. They have a port a potty and a solid shower. There’s even a little grill over your campfire. I would definitely recommend and will probably stay there again!

We had a great time! Quiet, easy to find, and the hosts were very friendly and responsive. We enjoyed our hike in the nearby state park as well. Definitely check for ticks afterwards!

Beautiful location, friendly hosts!
We tent camped on Victoria's farm, and it was perfect. The owners met us as we arrived and showed us where our site was, provided us with a wagon to transport our stuff from the car, and helped us get our wood. They have a beautiful property that they maintain well, and messaged us beforehand to help us know what to expect. They provided water for washing dishes, had a port-o-potty, and the site we were at had a picnic table, little stand that we used for our stove, and a fire pit. Our spot was fairly private and we fell asleep listening to probably dozens of birds and frogs. It was great.

The farm is peaceful, and the symphony of frogs at night was a perfect backdrop to our evening campfire. It’s a short drive to some great walking trails, as well. Victoria and her husband were very kind and helpful hosts. The option to have fresh eggs for breakfast was such a nice treat! We will be back for sure.

The hosts are very nice and greeted me to give me the lay of the land. My site was private and right near the water. The birds are amazing and the stars were phenomenal. I’ll definitely go back - maybe next time I’ll try the yurt.

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The property is nice and quiet. The tent was a little moldy around the bottom, but it didnt affect our stay at all since its so big inside, we just kept our bed away from the wall.

Victoria's property is so lovely. It is bounded by wetlands and many happy birds including, at our visit, cranes. The tent was sturdy and easy to access.

such a lovely campsite and extremely gracious hosts! The portapotty is extremely clean, and had fake candles outside so you could find it easily in the dark. we were having trouble getting the fire started and they came over to help us without us even asking! very friendly and a beautiful spot to stay

This is an anazing camp site, manicured and clean. Would recommend it to anyone looking to camp in the area. The host is very nice and easygoing. You get a lot of pricacy at your site, and there are some trails behind them. Hope to visit again.

A gem
Went here for the labor day weekend from Chicago and he price per night is not bad. The hosts Victoria and Phil were so accommodating. They were going to be out on our arrival but Victoria texted me the instructions on how to find the property and made sure the cots and the firewoods we requested were placed. Phil assisted us with the sites to explore around. Them being a dog lover is a plus, our dog Mozart loves Phil! The tent was spacious and the farm itself is a haven! They also have a few set up your own tent campsites for two or three groups which you can book. It was around 10-12 minutes drive from town but you feel like you’re in a remote area having your own piece of view of trees and the night sky. They have a clean portalet and shower and all you have to do is ask the host to bring a shower bag with hot water. It was easy to ask for additional firewood ($5 per bundle) if you run out. The whole place is well-maintained and I have nothing but excellent experience here! Thank you Victoria and Phil!

Beautiful property with a garden and fire pit. Very private. My boyfriend and I stayed one night and saw the sun set, stars and made smores. We had a great stay.

Spacious tent alongside a beautiful conservation area with mowed paths. We saw sandhill cranes, kingfishers, and many other birds. Delightful!
It happened to rain overnight and the tent stays nice and dry.

What a wonderful experience. Victoria was such a warm, welcoming host. She gave us a tour of the farm and even set up a hammock for my daughter. We heard coyotes and bullfrogs at night! Our whole family had a great time.

This was such an idyllic campsite and very lovely stay. A little slice of heaven! The host met us when we pulled up and gave us the lay of the land, carried firewood to our site, gave our dog a bone he LOVED (the nicest??!!!!!!), and left us to it for the night. They have two sites on the edge of a pond and we had our choice of either. We watched all night as 2-8 herons put on QUITE a show. Beautiful sunset, great wildlife, and very private. The host is incredibly gracious, very knowledgeable about the area, and a delight of a person! Would recommend to anyone!

Under the stars
Wonderful overnight stay. Lovely location with huge fruit and vegetable garden. Liked the pond and the nightly noises. Gets very dark and can see tons of stars. Rained overnight but we stayed dry inside massive tent!

Happy Camper
It was a last minute booking but this pretty farm did not disappoint!! Victoria promptly answered my messages and even though it was late she arranged for her sweet husband Phil to set up an outdoor hot water shower and a campfire 🔥!!
Your hospitality was truly appreciated!! The Farm is beautiful and the fireflies put on a show at night ✨!! I wish I could have stayed longer!!
