We first stayed at Angler’s Camp over Labor Day weekend and loved it so much we came back a month later for another weekend. Steve is a great host—friendly, welcoming, and keeps everything in perfect shape. The place is peaceful, quiet, and has everything you need. My husband and I really enjoyed just sitting back, reading, watching the stars, and soaking in the calm. It’s exactly the kind of relaxing getaway we were looking for.

We brought our trailer and stayed over night. We had a perfect view of the movie screen right from out site. The concession stand/building was way more than expected, with plenty of snacks and foods to choose from. the entire experience was fantastic, and we cant wait to go back!

Sandra and family are simply amazing. The farm is stunning and they’re some of the kindest folks you could ever meet. Very down to earth and welcoming. As a gay couple, you never know how you will be received and the moment we stepped foot on the farm we felt welcomed.
There is an Airbnb on property which we plan to have our friends book next time when we stay with our camper.
The farm itself is beautiful and steps away from the water. The sunset was amazing. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Nice quiet spot, was happy there was full hookups. Volleyball area/ horseshoes game available for the campers. We had some campfires and company were able visit us. Free wifi as well! Great weekend and we will visit again next year! Thankyou!

Great value and a cute spot right off the highway. Perfect for a stopover on a long trip. The host was extremely friendly and even came out to help us set up our tent in the dark. I would highly recommend this place. As some people have mentioned, it is right beside the highway and it is quite loud - having earplugs was helpful!

Actually everything went wrong lol which made it something to remember. It was my boyfriend’s first time going to a drive in. And he’s not use to real camping so this was amazing to me lol
We arrived later and were let in around 630
I brought the smaller tent and my larger air mattress. The air mattress did not fit into the tent or into the truck. We got a spot for the movie and his trucks interior lights wouldn’t go off. I had to have my foot up due to it being broken. So I had to use both our chairs and he sat on the ground. Couldn’t hear most of what was being said but could follow the movie. Eventually it got too cold and wet so he had to use a chair and my foot swole up. Intermission Boyfriend found a way to trick the latch so the lights would go off but got the hook he used got stuck. We Had to tie the truck shut and use bolt cutters when we got home. We had to use all our blankets for under us for a softer sleep in the back of the suv, leaving us cuddling for warmth.
He kept saying before we even started this is so much work. He jinxed us!! But we would definitely come back. Lots of space to choose a nice spot for the tent. Big fire pits. Friendly staff. Great price. Thinking next time the big tent lol

Thanks Steve for a great stay! Appreciate the hospitality. We came in our RV, Steve provided water and electrical hookups! Garbage pickup every morning was helpful. We had a fire pit in an open space beside the RV (which was gravel, that helped with leveling). Will be back again to spot 3 in the future! Thanks for making our first RV camping trip pleasant.

Sue was the most gracious and kind hostess - fun to chat with and just the nicest person…
Only 10 minutes from Point Pelee - great rolling bike trails, especially good for families.
And only an hour away for Detroiters!

We had the most wonderful time at this campsite on Pelee Island! I went with my mom, nephew, and our two dogs, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The site itself was private, cozy, and just the right size to set up our two tents comfortably. Everything was spotless and well cared for, and they went above and beyond by providing thoughtful extras like chairs, two screened-in rooms (a lifesaver for escaping the mosquitoes), and even some firewood to get us started.
From the very first day, Nela was absolutely amazing. She sent me clear and easy-to-follow directions, all the details we needed to settle in, and even shared some great suggestions that made our trip extra special. It’s clear how much care she puts into making sure guests feel welcome and comfortable.
The location was fantastic—just a short walk to the beach, which both we and the dogs loved. Between the peaceful site, the helpful touches, and the natural beauty all around, we couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. We loved every second of our stay and will definitely be coming back!

We had an amazing weekend at Boonie’s Drive-In! The atmosphere was quiet, welcoming, and family-friendly, and the owner even took time to chat with us. The food was excellent and well priced — the fries are a must-try! Our favorite part was introducing the younger generation to a tradition the older generation has always loved. Bathrooms were clean, everything was tidy, and everyone was respectful. We’ll definitely be back and plan on bringing more family in the future!

Owner is extremely friendly and accommodating. Movie was good, food was decent over priced though. Excellent price for the spot for two nights. It is right beside the highway, so a bit loud for nature camping. Would recommend for experience though.

Absolutely a great experience! Sites were large and easy to back into. Picnic table and fire pit at each site. Steve provided campfire wood. Full sewer hookups and electric and water at each site. Clean and green, private. Can’t say enough. Small town vibe everywhere around.

We loved this enclosed , private site. So close to the beach! We wish it was drier while we were there so we could of enjoyed the campfire but the site owner was very sweet and accommodating. It was very quiet at night with the island sounds and the water making it the perfect white noise machine. Thank you so much for having us!

The location of an historic meeting between Major General Sir Isaac Brock and Shawnee Chief Tecumseh, the British stronghold on the Detroit frontier during the War of 1812 and the Rebellions of 1837-38, and the site of the longest American occupation on Canadian soil, Fort Malden National Historic Site, in Amherstburg, Ontario opens a fascinating doorway into Canada’s early military history.
