Ziggy&#x27;s Land

I had a great time camping on ziggy’s land in the woods. There’s plenty of trees, lots of shade and lots of places to hang a hammock. The bathrooms were left clean and well stocked. Ziggy was welcoming and friendly. Upon arrival Ziggy showed me the area where I am camping, the water spout on the building, and the bathrooms We happened to be the only campers in that area this weekend, but we could easily see the other fire pits, so if it’s busy, it won’t feel very private. Bring some tarps to tie to the trees if this I worries you. One other small thing to keep in mind. Tables are not provided. There was one big wooden spool available, but there wasn’t one on every site. I guess that’s the only suggestion I have for the owner is get more spools back there. It was handy to have one, so one per sight would be nice. After the movies (or just on weeknights) this is a nice area for stargazing too. Overall, I had a positive experience and a fun weekend. Will probably camp here again 👍🏻

The camp ground was very nice. We'll kept. We were in the shaded area which we all liked alot. The access to the barn for washrooms and even food was alot much appreciated. Ziggy was very kind and helpful. Also went to tremblay beach to go swimming on a hit day. Also with tilbury only being 4 minutes away it was very useful. Would recommend staying the night here.

We are return campers at Ziggys Land and we always have a good time! Being able to walk over from our site to the movie is our favourite part! It’s chill and relaxed and Ziggy always makes sure we’re taken care of!

We had the best weekend as a couple! Ziggy is so kind and welcoming and even checked on us late at night when he saw we were still awake. The pizza was great at the concession and the drive in was a great addition. So happy about our experience and we will be back within the month or so!

Ziggy's was great. Host was very relaxed and accommodating. I've been telling everyone about the boonies. I'll probably go back again this summer. Food was good. The video games are a nice touch of nostalgia.

Peaceful and welcoming

Camping for three nights on Ziggy’s land was a very enjoyable and tranquil experience for us. The owner was very kind and welcoming, there is a lot of room and you are free to pick on which lot you want to set up your tent. The place is very peaceful and the sunset can be viewed on site. There are clean toilets and a restaurant, as well as a drive-in theater. We would like to thank Ziggy for our wonderful stay!

Couldn't be happier with our stay at Ziggy's! We drove from Hamilton just to check this place out as it was the cheapest campsites anywhere on a long weekend & obviously the drive-in was a bonus. We stayed for 2 nights originally, but had to book for a third to take advantage of the drive-in. Ziggy let us pick wherever we wanted on the land to camp, and we even moved our tent on the last night so we could see the screen. He sells fire wood, and brought it to our campsite for us. The area that we stayed in was very clean, and was tucked away from the movies and other 2 campers that were there. The bathrooms were also very clean, as well as the concession building. The atmosphere inside was super cool, it has retro arcade games and a private indoor theatre screen. While the playground is barebones, the older kids seemed to enjoy it a lot but the wood and exposed nails were too dangerous for our toddler. Regardless, we will be back to Ziggy's this summer and for many years to come.

The owner was super nice and accommodating!!! The set up was great, washrooms were clean, inside was awesome to play pool and watch a bit of the hockey game! Staff were friendlg and kind both at the gate and inside at the concession.

Big space and hug theatre!

We like camping at Ziggy’s land. Ziggy is very nice, kind and generous for all the questions we asked. The staffs are friendly and easy going. The campground is wide and there are many trees. It’s easy to watch movie almost from anywhere or directly in front of the hug theatre. The ticket price is cheap. There are many foods and snacks. The washrooms are clean and have hot and cold water. And thanks so much for letting us use the electric outside to boil the water! Many thanks again for your nice service!

We brought our trailer and stayed over night. We had a perfect view of the movie screen right from out site. The concession stand/building was way more than expected, with plenty of snacks and foods to choose from. the entire experience was fantastic, and we cant wait to go back!

Great value and a cute spot right off the highway. Perfect for a stopover on a long trip. The host was extremely friendly and even came out to help us set up our tent in the dark. I would highly recommend this place. As some people have mentioned, it is right beside the highway and it is quite loud - having earplugs was helpful!

Actually everything went wrong lol which made it something to remember. It was my boyfriend’s first time going to a drive in. And he’s not use to real camping so this was amazing to me lol We arrived later and were let in around 630 I brought the smaller tent and my larger air mattress. The air mattress did not fit into the tent or into the truck. We got a spot for the movie and his trucks interior lights wouldn’t go off. I had to have my foot up due to it being broken. So I had to use both our chairs and he sat on the ground. Couldn’t hear most of what was being said but could follow the movie. Eventually it got too cold and wet so he had to use a chair and my foot swole up. Intermission Boyfriend found a way to trick the latch so the lights would go off but got the hook he used got stuck. We Had to tie the truck shut and use bolt cutters when we got home. We had to use all our blankets for under us for a softer sleep in the back of the suv, leaving us cuddling for warmth. He kept saying before we even started this is so much work. He jinxed us!! But we would definitely come back. Lots of space to choose a nice spot for the tent. Big fire pits. Friendly staff. Great price. Thinking next time the big tent lol

Owner is extremely friendly and accommodating. Movie was good, food was decent over priced though. Excellent price for the spot for two nights. It is right beside the highway, so a bit loud for nature camping. Would recommend for experience though.

We had an amazing weekend at Boonie’s Drive-In! The atmosphere was quiet, welcoming, and family-friendly, and the owner even took time to chat with us. The food was excellent and well priced — the fries are a must-try! Our favorite part was introducing the younger generation to a tradition the older generation has always loved. Bathrooms were clean, everything was tidy, and everyone was respectful. We’ll definitely be back and plan on bringing more family in the future!

We enjoyed the big screen and we found nothing was over priced. Ziggy is supper nice and easy going. We recommend with family’s and pets for almost any camping style. We hope you enjoy this site and all of the options near by. Will definitely come back, and thank you.
