There are two campsites on the property, both just a short drive from two local beaches. Bass Road Beach is a rocky beach with deep water, while Silversides Point Road Beach offers a sandy shoreline with shallow water that gradually deepens. There's also a public boat launch across the road from my house—it's the next driveway up. Inner Woods Site To access this site, park on the right side of my driveway and follow the trail for about 2 minutes. The site is fairly spacious and includes tables, chairs, a fire pit (I have a burn permit—just let me know if you'd like to use it!), a portable camp toilet, a camp shower, a tent, and screened hammocks (available throughout the summer if you'd like to use them). The surrounding area is somewhat marshy, so be sure to bring bug spray. Turtle Pond Nest Site To access this site, park on the other side of my property, just past the Brakenfor Turtles sign and before my main driveway at 156. The site includes a fire pit (burn permit available—just let me know!), a tent area, and overlooks a peaceful turtle pond. This site backs onto a swamp, so bug spray is highly recommended. It's suitable for a small RV, but please note that there are no septic hookups. I may be able to provide electricity depending on the extension cord needed. Water is available from a hose, and it's about a 2-minute walk from my driveway to the site. I live on the property and am happy to help with anything you need. You can charge your devices at my house, and I can run a hose close to either campsite if you need water. I'm also very familiar with the area and can recommend great hikes, help you book time at the national park, and share other local tips. Just ask! I look forward to welcoming you!

Magic Forest Site

Booked 1 time
Tent site · Sleeps 5
This site is located past my house and past my gardens and into the forest. There are solar lights along the way to lead you there if you come at night or if you need to get anything from the car! Follow the path past the milkweed field and say hello to the butterflies! The are two screened hammocks set up as well as a tent that could suit about three people. There are sunshades set up as well as this site gets pretty hot if the sun is beating down during the daytime. There is a large fire pit and my son, and I use it quite often when we don’t have bookings! There are other spots to pitch other tents if you prefer and we are happy to take down our gear if you would prefer to just use your own - but preferably you enjoy the glamping setup and come to stay with a site already set up for you upon arrival! There is a small kitchen area for set up as well as a table with an umbrella and multiple chairs. There are chairs to sit around the campfire as well. You will have to park in my driveway and car to your things backwards, so I will provide you with a wheelbarrow to make it easier. There are rock signs to lead you in the right direction- look for the red rocks and black arrows! Water is available via hose but again you will have to bring it back along the trail. You can also charge any devices at the house via an extension cord. There are definitely bears and other wildlife in the area, but my policy with any animal is don’t attack it and it won’t attack you so you should be totally fine as long as you put your food in your vehicle at night or when you are leaving your site unattended. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask Jess!

Turtle Pond and Nest Site

RV/tent site · Sleeps 6 · Vehicles under 20 ft
Very basic site but larger spot directly off the road so easy access for explorers! Across the road from my property is a public boat launch and there are two smaller beaches locally within this subdivision that are about a 5 min drive! This site has a fairly large pad - approx 20x20ft - and enough parking for a small RV / trailer. I have no hookups, however, so it’s more roughing it. However, the hose is avail at a 2 min walk for water! The site is on gravel/sand/rock and has a fire pit and a small camp composting toilet. The site backs onto a small pond and stream where turtles nest at times. There are black bears in the area and many species of snakes, but just put your food in your vehicle for the night and anything food scented, and keep your distance from the wildlife and enjoy the quiet and peace of nature. My rule with wildlife is always - don’t attack it, and it won’t attack you. It’s very simple! However, being that a lot of the land around my property is swampy and marshy. I would highly recommend bringing bug spray!
