100% of recent Hipcampers say this Hipcamp felt private.
Once upon a time this property consisted of an 18 acre apple orchard and a 10 acre Maple Sugar bush with evidence of it scattered about the property. I have owned the property for over 16 years now, and moved here from Toronto about 4 years ago, living in nature has become my life. The property is full of Wild life and history. The 18 acre orchard was turned into a white pine forest about 40 years ago and has recently been thinned out to promote healthy growth. Bee hives have recently become part of the life that exists here. The area is surrounded by a Mennonite community and the Amish are also within a 15 minute drive from here. On the map you will see that this property is a part of the original Queen's bush. The highest point in the township with amazing views all around. Here to enjoy and experience for all.

We loved camping on Santo's land! He was very kind in showing us around and ensuring we had all we needed. The site was as private as they come, and the views were spectacular!! The night sky was clear enough to faintly see the Milky Way. The outhouse was a 10 minute walk through the woods, but it was also easily accessible via a drivable path, so it was no inconvenience to us. Being only 15 minutes from several towns and nice public beaches gave ample opportunity for things to do. Highly recommend!
We enjoyed our stay on Santo’s land even though it was cut short by some rain. Very peaceful and quiet area to spend your time in nature. Nice and close to a bunch of great beaches as well. I would definitely visit again!
Staying at Santos place is truly amazing. We love it everytime we go. Our puppy loves the open field to run, and there are so many beautiful sights on his property. It is also a foragers paradise!
We loved staying here! The property was beautiful, with lots to see! It felt very private and santo went above and beyond to make our trip amazing! We are already planning the next one back. He was very friendly and our puppy loved his place too.
At night we were surrounded by fireflies it was truly breathtaking!
