Heavens acres used to be a stop over in the 1850's for people traveling by horse from Toronto to Owen Sound. We have 100 acres surrounded by another 200 acres of conservation land. There is camping in the pine forest as well at the very back of the property where you will find a hardwood bush with trails.

Cabin in the woods
I stayed 1 night at the cabin in the woods. It's so serene and peaceful. Great firepit. Rick even started the fire for me. He was very friendly and helpful. The cabin is clean and cozy.

Absolutely perfect for what we were looking for. The man made trails around the structure were great! Very quiet and well constructed, cute, great fire pit and out house. Thanks again for the stay, we will definitely be back again!

Glamping under the stars
We loved our stay at Rick's, very quiet, surrounded by trees, not another human in sight. Lots of nature to explore, had an owl visit us. Acres of land and trails to wander and little to no bugs! We went late August. The camp fire pit has a grill, perfect for cooking, bring a foil pan or cast iron to set on top. It does get chilly at night so be sure to bring warm blankets. We brought our tent but ended up sleeping in the cabin which is clean and cozy, no electricity but cute solar lights light up the inside. The outhouse is also very clean, even you city girls can hack it. Rick met us at arrival and we followed him to the site, far enough from his house that you won't hear each other but close enough if you needed anything. He will drop off firewood for 5 bucks a bag but the site is surrounded by wood that burns great. The stars were awesome, so so many.

Great spot and scenery!!!
Thanks Rick for that beautiful stay! It was a beautiful night sky and the location was privately quiet. Got there and within minutes, we had a warm welcome and great help to start the fire. The cozy little cabin makes it great for those who just need a quick night of rest.

Pine Forest with Wetlands and Creek
Rick was a great host! Since there would be almost no sunlight by the time we would get there, Rick offered to light up the campfire for us so we got there with the fire burning already which was amazing! He showed us the area when we arrived, was really friendly, and informed us he would be just a few minutes away if needed. The pine cabin and outhouse were great resources to have in our first camping experience in Canada and with Hipcamp. We only had good experiences. Thank you, Rick!
