Heavens Acres has been a stop over since the 1850's for people travelling by horse from Toronto to Owen Sound. We have 100 acres surrounded by another 200 acres of conservation land. There is camping in the pine forest as well at the very back of the property where you will find a hardwood bush with trails. Please note that the hipcamp map shows a large body of water on the property, as does google driving maps. It is a marsh, not a lake. Google Earth shows it better. There is however, a creek and pond, but don't bring your boat. :) This is a "LEAVE NO TRACE" campsite, so please take all garbage when you leave.

Great trip!
We had an amazing time such a unique campsite. Rick was an awesome host. Gave us the history of the plane at the site. Make sure we had everything we needed. What a beautiful chunk of property to spend some time on.!!

Fall camping
It was pretty cool staying on Rick's land. Having the crashed plane on the site made it a truly unique experience, and learning its history made it even more intriguing. There are many interconnecting trails to hike, and Rick took time out of his day to take us on a trail run in one of his atv's. That was super cool and exhilarating! What a great fall camping experience!
