This beautiful spot was re-forested with pine a number of years ago, and was sectioned off from the surrounding farmland, which is now maintained by the mennonite community. It is 8 1/2 acres of wetland and forest, with a mown perimeter, and cool places to tuck into the forest for the night. The current owner was a special educator, and now is slowly turning the land into her homestead. There is a beautiful, spa quality outdoor shower next to a tidy and 'fancier than most' outhouse, a strawberry patch as well as wild alpine strawberries all over the property, a big dog and a small indoor cat keep her company. Here is what the land offers: -Bunkie in the Forest: A sweet 8x8 ft. space with new bunk and mattresses as of April 2023 -Strawberry Fields bunkie: an 10x12 space with a loft with a queen memory foam mattress and a main floor with a full futon and a small table -Campsites: Meadow, Forest and River spots. Close to each other, but you'd never know it! All three are chill and serene places. The property backs onto a ten-foot swimming hole in an otherwise shallow part of the Saugeen River. -RV Spot: With electric hook up ideal for RVs 30 feet and under -a connection to the organization, 'Black Folks Camp Too'! Welcoming to all!!!!! So much to see and do in the area!

We operate a vintage trailer restoration shop on site and have lots of interesting units around. There is firewood on property to purchase. We have a convenience station to wash dishes. Potable water and ice to purchase. We have showers outdoors with hot water. The newest addition to the property are two goats that think they are dogs and will greet you. We are on the boarder of a hiking trail that is accessible from the property. So if you’re looking for a hiking spot you can start here. Please message us for any special requests or questions you have. We are hosting a garage sale in coordination with the town of Wellesley June 6, 8am-1pm. By a combination of good timing and good luck, I was able to make that dream come true and in the spring of 2014 I acquired this land with the hopes of building my dream water ski lake on it. 7 years later, we have a thriving water ski club and are constantly making improvements to the site. We now have decided to add some sites for rent to share this incredible property with others outside the water ski community. Site #1 is a small cabin that sleeps 3 and site #2 is a small houseboat that has been converted to a bunkie. Onsite activities include use of a canoe and paddleboard. Heavens Acres has been a stop over since the 1850's for people travelling by horse from Toronto to Owen Sound. We have 100 acres surrounded by another 200 acres of conservation land. There is camping in the pine forest as well at the very back of the property where you will find a hardwood bush with trails. Please note that the hipcamp map shows a large body of water on the property, as does google driving maps. It is a marsh, not a lake. Google Earth shows it better. There is however, a creek and pond, but don't bring your boat. :) This is a "LEAVE NO TRACE" campsite, so please take all garbage when you leave. There is no water or power, but there is an outhouse Please note that in the winter months. There’s a $25 surcharge. This is required for snow removal to access the sites that are at at least 1 km into the bush. We are in a snow belt area and it is very difficult to keep the sites open in the winter. Four-wheel-drive is required for access in the winter!

We are centrally located, approximately 25 minutes from Niagara Falls attractions like casino, museums, zip lining, jet boat tours, hiking in the gorge and other major attractions.

Gisele and Vic were SO kind and generous. The space is darling, private and well-planned, and they have thought of so many details and provided many extras. I would return in a heartbeat. A short walk takes you to a beautiful beach on Lake Erie, a short 10 minute drive takes you into town (Port Colborne) which is a delight (Pie Guy! Great inventive grilled cheeses/watching ships go through the canal/ cute shops.) The hosts anticipated needs and went above and beyond. From setting out firewood to providing a bocce set to having a nice bbq with side burner set up in the outdoor kitchen area - they thought of everything. One of our nicest experiences with a vacation rental.

We loved our stay at Willow Pond Haven! Lisa and Scott have included everything you need for a relaxing weekend away without having to worry about packing too much. They were incredibly responsive to any of our needs during our stay and made sure we had everything we needed. The cabin was very clean and spacious, and the water was absolutely beautiful. Our group had a wonderful time at Gillian’s campsite. The place is beautiful wide open space and a river by the site. Peaceful and exclusive to your group. The owners were accommodating and very helpful with moving all of our camping gears using their ATV. There’s some activities for the kids kept them entertained. Looking forward to be back in this place again soon!

We had a very nice stay! The hosts and cabin was perfectly welcoming, very clean, comfy beds and linens, and smelled amazing of fresh wood. Lots of cute frogs to watch and catch by the pond in the evening and we loved hearing the cows mooing from the other field. Neighbouring campers were a good distance away providing privacy. We got a great prepped bag of wood, newspapers and kindling for the fire. Thank you for hosting us :)

My friends and I had an absolute blast on our stay the past three days! Lisa and Scott were so welcoming and even recharged our fan for us when it died! The cabin was so cute and the pond was exactly what we needed to cool down in the heat. Everything was so neat and tidy! 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be coming back!

2 nights at Cabin close to Lake Erie and trails

We had such a wonderful stay with Gisele and her husband! 😊 They were incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived and truly went above and beyond to make sure our family had a great experience. One of the sweetest surprises was finding a little bed set up for our 5-year-old son. 🛏️❤️ We never expected that thoughtful gesture, and it immediately showed how much they care about their guests. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained. 🌳✨ Everything was clean and comfortable, and it was the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. We loved being so close to several beaches 🏖️ while still being only a short drive from Niagara Falls. 🌊 If you’re looking for a quiet family-friendly getaway, this is it. Gisele and her husband are exceptional hosts—kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making your stay memorable. 😊 We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Large private space next to a beautiful stream. Enjoyed the games setup in the open yard and just sitting by the gently gurgling stream. Gillian and Jim are very friendly and helpful hosts. Jim who is an avid hiker informed us of some good hikes nearby.

Relaxing visit. Everything that could be controlled was. Pond was clean and relaxing. We used lemongrass oil to control the tick issue. We found several around but thankfully none on us. Mosquitos werent an issue. The cabin is cozy and comfortable. We had to cut our vacation short by a day but we still enjoyed the time we had there.

Weekend Trip to Heavens Acres

This was the best glamping experience ever. We LOVE camping, but wanted a new adventure. This was exactly what we needed. The airplane is beyond cool, the cabin is perfectly cozy. We went exploring the land and it was amazing. The silence, no neighbours, peace and beauty were everything we could’ve wanted and more! Rick was kind and responsive. Even the outhouse is cute and clean. I would recommend this site and experience to anyone who loves camping, but wants to elevate the experience.

Weekend Trip to White Pines Cabin Retreat

Lovely stay at the cabin, it has a beautiful view and the cabin has everything you need for a good stay. Water is nice and clean and you can swim in it or just sit in the shallow section. Kid friendly and the hosts were really nice! Highly recommended.

3 nights at Willow Pond Haven

We had such a beautiful weekend away at Willow Pond Haven. Upon arrival and meeting Lisa & Scott, so kind and welcoming. She had picked a bundle of flowers and left wine glasses for us as we came to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Every moment that followed was perfect in every way; hanging by the pond, cooking over the fire, watching turtles & frogs, fireflies, bunnies. Hearing the horses and cows nearby. It was fantastic. The bunkie is perfect, smelling of wood. They offer lights and a fan that you can use to charge your electronics. Scott is so kind chopping wood and preparing bags to make campfires seamless. We got great suggestions from the two to check out a great brewery in Neustadt and enjoy a delicious buffet meal at Pebbles!! (Highly reccomend). We can’t thank you enough for the genuine hospitality and love you have for your space and what it has to offer. We can’t wait to join you again.

Weekend Trip to Edges Sideroad Springs

My husband and I had a great stay in the A-frame! Everything we needed was provided which was such a great way to camp. The A-Frame was very clean. I’m so used to cabins having spider webs, but this one didn’t have any! It’s a very quiet space, far enough away from other sites, we didn’t even end up seeing anyone else our whole visit. The fire pit had seats and a picnic table provided, plus a grate to put over the fire to cook. The $15 unlimited wood was the perfect touch to have everything we needed. This was our first time in this area and we found so many fun things to do. We went to the town of Durham for coffee and bubble tea. We went to Hogg Falls, McGowan Falls, and Eugenia Falls. Our favourite coffee shop was one called Valley Espresso! And our favourite meal was at a food truck called Good Child- such amazing food. I would 100% recommend this camp!
