Tucked away beneath the trees in the heart of Grey-Bruce, Raven Hollow is a little place to disappear from the ordinary for a while. Follow the path into our 50-acre wood, where winding trails disappear beneath the pines, ravens call overhead, and a little frog pond waits to be discovered in the forest. Days here are meant to move slowly. Wander the trails. Visit the pond. Listen for owls after dark. Watch the fire. Look for mushrooms and tiny forest treasures. Or do absolutely nothing at all. Nestled among the trees is Camp Kyle, our tiny rustic cabin built for unplugging from the modern world without giving up the pleasure of climbing into a king-sized bed at the end of the day. Outside, you'll find a covered kitchen and dining area and a large open firepit for long evenings beneath the stars. Raven Hollow is intentionally rustic. This isn't a resort tucked into the woods... the woods are the experience. Expect wildlife, changing weather, dirt beneath your boots, dark skies, crackling fires and all the little sounds that come with sleeping in a forest. And while Raven Hollow can feel wonderfully far away from everything, you aren't. Chesley is about 10 minutes away and Hanover about 20 minutes away for groceries, gas and other necessities. Beaches, trails and some of Grey-Bruce's loveliest places to explore are within easy day-trip distance. Dogs are very welcome to join your adventure, but must remain leashed while exploring Raven Hollow. Come wander awhile. The Hollow is waiting.

Somewhere just off a quiet dirt road, tucked beneath the pines of Raven Hollow, you'll find Camp Kyle. There's no long hike in and no need to haul your belongings through the forest. The cabin is easily accessible from the road. Close enough to make arriving simple, but nestled among the trees on all sides so that once you've settled in, the woods take over. Camp Kyle is a tiny, rustic, off-grid cabin for people who'd like to disappear from the ordinary for a little while. Inside you'll find a king-sized bed that takes up an almost unreasonable amount of space. We have no regrets about this. The cabin is filled with old things, curious things and little treasures we've gathered along the way. There is no running water, Wi-Fi or conventional electricity. That's quite intentional. Nights here are dark, mornings begin with the birds. It's designed to be an unplugged experience. Just outside the cabin is a large open firepit made for evening fires, slightly charred marshmallows and conversations that somehow last longer outdoors. You'll also have a covered outdoor kitchen and picnic area, so a little rain doesn't have to ruin dinner. We provide a Camp Chef with propane, and BBQ attachment. For washing hands and rinsing things, there's a rain barrel with a spigot. The water is not potable, but a water dispenser and drinking water is provided. When nature calls, your private outhouse is only steps from the cabin. And because rustic doesn't have to mean terrifying, ours is clean, bright and thoughtfully finished. Then there are the woods. Raven Hollow sits within our 50-acre forest, with trails you're welcome to wander during your stay. Follow them beneath the trees, make your way down to the frog pond, look for mushrooms, listen for ravens, or sit somewhere quiet and take in the beauty the forest offers. There's also a woodstove inside Camp Kyle for chilly evenings when the forest decides summer is taking the night off. No cleaning fee — the price you see is the price for your stay. A garbage can is provided at the site, but Raven Hollow is a pack-it-in, pack-it-out property, so please take your garbage with you when you leave. Firewood is self serve. $10 per bag. There is etransfer instructions as well as a spot for cash. Camp Kyle isn't polished resort glamping. There are no hookups, no shower hidden behind the trees and no concierge waiting to fluff your pillow. The luxuries here are a little different: a big bed in a tiny cabin, a fire beneath the stars, fifty acres of forest to wander, and nowhere in particular you need to be. Come see what you find. When the snow begins to fall, Raven Hollow becomes a different place. Just off a quiet dirt road and tucked beneath the pines, you'll find Camp Kyle. A tiny off-grid cabin with a woodstove, a king-sized bed, and fifty acres of snowy forest outside the door. There's no hike in with your belongings. The cabin is easily accessible from the road, although this is Grey-Bruce in winter. Expect snow, bring good boots, and come prepared for a real Canadian winter adventure. Inside, the woodstove is the heart of the cabin. Light a fire, put the kettle on, and settle in while the forest gets quiet outside. There is no running water, Wi-Fi or conventional electricity. Nights are dark, mornings are slow, and unplugging comes rather naturally. Your private outhouse is only steps away. It's clean, bright and thoughtfully finished. Outside you'll find a large open firepit and covered picnic area. Raven Hollow's trails wind through our 50-acre forest, although deep snow may make some areas difficult to access. The frog pond sleeps beneath the snow, the raven and coyote calls still echo sharply through the trees, and the forest is yours to explore. No cleaning fee — the price you see is the price for your stay. Firewood is not included. You're welcome to bring your own clean, dry firewood, or firewood is available self-serve on site for $10 per bag. Cash and e-transfer instructions are provided. The luxuries here are a little different: a warm fire, a big bed in a tiny cabin, snow-covered pines outside the window, and nowhere in particular you need to be. Come see what the winter brings. We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin is cozy and comfortable, the outhouse is clean and the covered kitchen area was perfect on a rainy day. We enjoyed stargazing by the campfire.
