For Couples or Singles Discover the beauty of the natural environment in this very private 1 bedroom cabin on the edge of the forest. A unique destination for mindful travelers looking to connect with the surrounding wilderness, and rekindle their relationship with nature. Enjoy the marked hiking trails surrounded by 470 hectares of the largest nature reserve in Ontario. The comfortably furnished cabin features a small kitchen equipped with dishes and cooking utensils, living room area, and generous main floor bedroom. As we are off-grid, heat is provided by a cozy woodstove, and the bathroom is an outhouse located a short distance away from the cabin. Enjoy the small deck for outdoor seating and fire pit. Firewood is on hand. Guests should bring their own bedding, indoor shoes & a cooler for perishables Potable water is provided in 5 gallon jugs. Parking is a very short walk from the cabin and a wagon is provided to carry belongings to and from. As the cabin is located in the forest, summer guests are encouraged to bring mosquito repellant.For couples or singles. Gorgeous Off-the-Grid Getaway

We had such a fantastic stay at this gorgeous cabin. It’s truly off the grid, with no electricity, candle lit rustic feel, exactly the kind of getaway we needed. We brought our dog along, and the open space made it a perfect trip for all of us. The main reason for our visit was to stargaze during the peak of the Perseids meteor shower. We didn’t get to see the Perseids themselves, but the night sky was absolutely beautiful, and the whole experience was still gorgeous. The host was awesome and had everything we needed. The site was neat, clean, peaceful, and thoughtfully set up. There aren’t a ton of places to explore in Coboconk, but Balsam Provincial Park was beautiful. We spent the whole day there and really enjoyed it. One thing to definitely bring: lots of bug spray! The bugs can be a bit bothersome, especially when you’re spending time outdoors. Overall, this was a fantastic getaway and a must-visit site for anyone looking for a peaceful, rustic, off-the-grid escape. We’d absolutely come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Yvonne's. The cabin was clean, spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need. The property is secluded and surrounded by a conservation area with trails right on the property and provincial parks a short drive away. This was the perfect peaceful nature getaway. Hoping to visit again!

My wife and I have been winter camping many times and this was our favorite cabin rental ever! It has been a great getaway and adventure for us and our dogs. We arrived with alot of snow and were planning to hike. Thanks to the hosts as they have snowshoes available at the cabin! We had a blast in the trails. The cabin's stove was perfect, kept it cozy and warm throughout the weekend. The well water with a hand pump was an added surprise and let me tell you how good that water is! We were both talking about it all weekend. Hosts were amazing, had fire going for when we arrived, took us to the cabin and after that it was just us. Perfect 10/10 for us as this is exactly how we like to camp. Will be back for sure.

We and our pups had a peaceful visit at the cabin. The wood burning stove kept us nice and cozy after beautiful hikes through the snowy forest. You can tell love and time goes into the property by attentive, kind, and caring hosts. Thank you! Highly recommend.

Private, peaceful and beautifully set in a lovely spot surrounded by creation. Yvonne and her husband are friendly and ensure their guests have everything they need. They marked a trail to make snowshoeing easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend this special place. Thank you very much for sharing and look forward to returning.

The cabin is perfect for a weekend getaway, it's beautifully designed and maintained and is tucked away in the woods which gives you your privacy and lots of trails to explore. I went in early October so got to see beautiful fall colors. Yvonne and Glenn were wonderful hosts, very friendly and lovely people. I'd definitely recommend this place.

We very much appreciated and enjoyed our time in the cabin! I love how private and secluded it is, surrounded by beautiful forest with marked trails! The wood stove was glorious, the bed was comfortable, and the kitchen had everything I needed. Would definitely come back. Thank you so much for hosting us!
