This is the back of a small beef cattle farm located on beautiful Three Mile Lake in Muskoka Lakes. These sites each have their own private beach with access to approximately 1500 feet of lake front. Beautiful Sherwood creek within walking distance on the property with some beautiful spots for a picnic. Plenty of wild life to see!

Site 1 has been updated as of July 27th 2023 with a new Outhouse 😁 Pitch a tent or pull in your RV on the back of our 180 acre cattle farm in beautiful Muskoka Lakes.  Enjoy your private beach and 1500 feet of lake front! On the beautiful three mile lake. Take a picnic basket to the edge of Sherwood Creek or bring a canoe and paddle up to see more of the farm you will be able to view the wildlife and enjoy the peace of nature. Possibly see deer fox turtles hawks bald eagles and many more wildlife. Fire pit, picnic table and outhouse toilets on site. We recommend foot wear in the lake as there are plenty of clam shells Both sites are still fairly new so there are roots sticks and tripping hazards please use caution when walking around sites and when choosing a place for your tents. Camp site #1 has its own private beach is set back in the woods a bit further. Still driving right to site just a little further down a hill 4 wheel drive recommended especially if pulling a trailer. This site is a bit larger and recommended for larger groups. Trailers will need levelling. Camp site #2 also has a private beach but is shared with us our neighbours and our friends. this site is set higher up in the field and has more of a walk to the beach but only minutes. This site is smaller and best suited for smaller groups. but can expand into the field if necessary. Trailers will need levelling. We have provided a 5 gallon bucket in each site as a fire out bucket. we ask that all campers please put their fires out before leaving your site. thank you. buckets are located under the picnic tables. We ask all campers to please take garbage with you at check out. We also ask smokers to please put butts in the fire pit or take with you. Thank you! We look forward to hosting you! *Note paddle boats and canoes on site are not included. due to either they leak or are broken.

Lisa's property was amazing! Lots of room, beautiful view of everything. Saw deer every day! Loved the outhouse, we are used to privies at Algonquin but the outhouse was way better - especially with the rain we had. She was great with communication and even checked to make sure we were ok after a big gusty windy rainy period of time. We will definitely be back! Thanks so much Lisa.

This was one of our favourite Hipcamps. The lake was busier than we are used to but it was a long weekend so totally expected. We appreciated the private feel of the campsite being nestled in our little corner and we customized the site with tarp shelters and a hammock to lay about in the afternoons. The night sky was gorgeous with the moon and the sound of waves to keep us company. One should keep in mind that there are elevation changes at the site that could prove challenging for some. I was able to portage our canoe down to the water and back up to our vehicle but the pitch through the trees and down to the beach could prove tricky. Overall, we liked the secluded, civilized-rustic feel of the space: not Crown Land but sounds of the forest gave it a wild feel.

Lisa was super friendly, communicative, responsive and welcoming before and during our stay! The site and surrounding fields, forest and lake were spectacular and we had the entire grounds to ourselves. Couldn’t have made a better first impression and the site was beyond our expectations. Will highly recommend to others in the future.

We absolutely loved it! The site is on a slight downhill, so a bit of shifting around was needed, but it’s such a beautiful camping spot—private, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. Ps. Big perk— toilet available!

We had a really good time camping here. There's another site but it's not close enough that you can hear or see them. We enjoyed being able to take our kayaks out into the lake although we didn't catch a single fish or even see life in the lake.

It was a nice field, and the outhouse was nice, and it was very private, the stars were INCREDIBLE! And we could see cows way off; but the beach was icky

The views are spectacular any time of day!!! Lisa is a friendly, flexible host who took the time to take the children to visit the cows and their guard donkey. You can enjoy the gorgeous water especially if you throw in a kayak to skirt over the weeds and algae, that are bursting with freshwater mussels, btw! We did this and enjoyed a successful evening of fishing, swimming and paddling! The set up is perfect! Even the outhouse comes with a view and is interesting condition!

Loved camping at Coutts Farm. Watching the deer and turkey wander the fields. Feels super secluded only 2 camp sites. The one next to me was hidden by a hill feels like no one is around. Farmland in front lake close behind. My dog loved the freedom of the country and swimming in the lake. Very peaceful. Highly recommend.

Lisa was a great host and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. The site was in a great location on a lake and far enough from the other campsite that it felt private. The picnic table and outhouse on site were nice to have.

Boondockers Quiet Paradise

We were on site #1 for a week. We were joined by 2 more couples with a large fifth wheel & a tent trailer. We were in a 24ft trailer and we had more than enough space for us all. We had more than enough sun for our solar panels to generate electricity for our units. This was a perfect spot to hang out, use the water/beach front. Water is warm but weedy, (the whole lake is) but once you paddled out it was good for swimming.We met Lisa when we arrived and got the lay of the land. You are definitely in the middle of nowhere, which is what we were all looking for. We are already thinking about next year’s visit.

This is are second time staying here with our group of 11 and I cant say enough good things about this place. So much space, clean, great swimming and wonderful hosts. I recommend coutts farm this will be our yearly camping trip spot from now on.

We arrived late, which was no problem with Lisa. We had no problem following the directions and found our campsite to be absolutely awesome. A great view of the fields and right along the edge of the woods. We did make the short walk to the water and enjoyed the sunset. The outhouse was among the best I’ve seen! We had a very peaceful stay. What a great experience for our first Hipcamp. Thank you!

I loved the country feel at the front of the site and then the beach feel at the back. Lisa was an amazing host! I would recommend that you bring your own wood as it is very hard to find in that area (which surprised us as it is such a heavily wooded area). You can buy some for $12.99+tax at the shell up the road, this was literally the only downfall of our trip and it had nothing to do with the camp or the host. Other then that the roads are amazing to travel on heading up that way and all around! The beach didnt seem very full of clams until you got out farther a bit. Its a bit of a hill to get to the beach but the water i would say is child friendly and nice and shallow for your littles. Would be perfect for paddle boards or kayaks. My dog had a blast running around the water! Also i was surprised the bugs werent as bad as i thought they would be. The site (site#1) is definitely on a hill but it wasnt that bad in our tent. All in all we had a great time!

It has beautiful scenery, lots of wildlife to see and an amazing sand beach. Lisa gets back to you fast and is so helpful. This was my second trip to this campsite, and I'll definitely be back again!

My family (13 month old and 5 yr old) loved this site. It really is a private beach, kinda in a cove. The water was clear and refreshing. The shoreline was sandy and is shallow so didn't have to worry about kids and lifejackets. Do recommend water shoes as deeper you go there are clams and we did cut our feet). There is lots of shade on the shoreline but also sunny spots. Which was amazing for getting a little tan but keeping kids out of the sun. We got to see the cows from a distance and it was sooo cool hearing them mooing. The bugs with a breeze were nothing but we had one night no breeze and they came in to attack, so we hung out in the netted gazebo. Lisa was VERY responsive to any questions or concerns we had. She is very easy going and was an amazing host! The site was like magic to us the first night there when we went to go to the bathroom there were thousands of firefly's in the fielding and around us. Every night we got to see them. I haven't seen a firefly in years so it was spectacular. If there are dogs on the road to go into the property do not try and drive by them. They do not move and get aggressive. I would just call Lisa and she will help :) Thank you Lisa and family! So jealous you get to call this place home 🏠

We spent 3 nights at Lisa's property and had a great time! She was very quick and helpful to answer any questions we had. Deer came by twice during our stay which was very cool. The private beach area and the super shallow lake were fantastic for the kids & dog. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved staying at the farm and the secret beach. Never seen so many deer. They come very close to the camp area to drink from the lake so the dog had to be on a long lead just in case :) Wonderful hosts and a beautiful green location. Loved the cow sounds from the distance and the frogs at night. We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Lisa's land! Beautiful sunrise over the lake with morning fog on the meadows :) the camping spot was nice and clean with a picnic table, fire place and toilet. We got very good descriptions from Lisa to find the spot. Can highly recommend!

The camp site is beautiful with an amazing view of the lake. There are washrooms available, and theres a fire pit. Lisa the host was great at communicating and offered late checkout free of charge. Definitely would recommend this beautiful place.

Amazing experience again. Even with the rain, everyone had a fantastic time. The beach is nice and private. The land is beautiful. We've all decided to make camping at Coutts Farm an annual event.
