Winter camping in the cozy forest dome was 100 percent perfect. Fran is super welcome and accommodating my extra chair request, wood for the stove when needed... The dome is thoughtfully planted amongst the trees and situated as to watch the sun or moon rise in just the right spot from the comfort of a most comfortable bed. I really appreciated getting to use the wood stove. It worked really well and was east to control the temps. My favorite part other the shower was just sitting in quiet and peaceful calm looking out the window... like a cat...at the trees. Thank you so much Fran. Greatly appreciated. H

We had an amazing experience at the Forest Dome. It was absolutely beautiful and so romantic. The dome was cozy and warm, and every detail was thoughtfully done — from the art sculptures and gorgeous wooden floors to the large window overlooking the snow-covered trees. It truly felt perfect.
Fran was a kind and helpful host, which made our stay even better. The whole experience was so serene and restorative — it really resets your soul. We would definitely stay here again.

It was a good experience. The dome was clean and warm. However, I think a small table where guests could eat, play cards would be nice, instead of 15 pieces of sculptures. More balance recommended. A headboard on the bed would be nice. A toaster in the kitchen would be nice, for basic toast or bagels in the morning. Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay at Fran’s place! She was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The tent was beautifully set up with all the amenities we could ask for — cozy, clean, and thoughtfully organized.
Surrounded by nature, it was the perfect peaceful escape. There are two fire pits to enjoy, and the property is filled with unique art and sculptures that added so much character and charm to the experience.
The sound of rain at night while we were tucked into the tent was truly the cherry on top — so calming and magical.
If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in nature with a touch of creativity and comfort, we highly recommend Fran’s place! We’d absolutely stay again.

We stayed for a quick overnight visit. Fran was very accommodating and the communication throughout our stay was great. Fran has a very nice property, we wish we had more time to explore but or schedule didn't allow for it. We did get a chance to check out her incredible art work, which is a very nice addition to the dome and the grounds. We would def book again in the future.

What a treat! This was an amazing experience for us. The amenities and space was top notch, the property was amazing and Fran was extremely helpful and responsive to our questions and messages. An extremely unique and beautiful experience! Fran thought of everything to make your stay comfortable no matter the temperature outside. Waking up to beautiful views was amazing. We will have to come back for each season!

This was our 2nd time at the Dome and it was even better than the first. The space is cozy, warm, artistic, and unique.
We hope to visit during every season!

Lovely quiet space with forest view on one side and owners house on the other side. Large tent, very comfy is also a gallery for the owner’s wood carvings. Hot water and electricity is a bonus. Great area to visit water falls and hiking trails. A camp stove would be a god thing to bring. Single burner stove and well used bbq available. Kitchen is well supplied with plates, etc. Lovely dog on the property who loves to visit.

We had an amazing time here for the night! We enjoyed the great hiking trails around, the beautiful art pieces and the outdoor fire pit! We will 100% be back soon. 10/10 experience, Fran has definitely thought of everything!!

If you read the guestbook, you will see a number of comments on how "healing" and "magical" this space and surroundings are. I'm pretty cynical, but I went from "eye roll" to "OMG, they're right" within a few hours: there's something otherworldly about staring into the unending forest from the cozy comfort of your bed or watching the clouds cross the moon.
There's wifi, but we stayed off devices - highly recommend doing so to get the full effect.
There's a BBQ, wood stove, and hotplate for a kettle, so recommend easy-to-heat foods if you're staying in late fall/early spring or winter. It has all the kitchen accoutrements you'll need (except for your food).
The outdoor shower was a brisk treat but there's hot water, soap, and limited toiletries. The dome itself is so cozy with its wood-fired stove, the sensation a quick shower outside in the cold is a lot of fun!
There are some nearby walking trails that make for a pleasant stroll through the woods.
Finally, Fran's an artist and the dome is home to some very unique pieces. There is much to stimulate the mind and senses in this wonderful location!

We loved our stay at the Geo dome! The host was very quick to respond and ensured we had everything we needed. The dome was situated in the middle of the forest. It had a wood burning stove which kept us unbelievabley warm and cozy, the bed was comfy, and the bonus was it was filled with the most unique art. The kitchen and bathroom were in a tiny cabin beside the dome and had an outdoor shower. It was close to the host house but still felt very private.
Waking up surrounded by trees had such a magical vibe! This was a very unique and interesting place to stay and would be great all year round. If you're looking for something different and want to connect to nature I'd highly recommend staying here!
