We had an amazing time. The yurt is in a beautiful setting. One minute you are in the town, the next you are at the private yurt with your own river view. Beds were comfortable and we stayed warm and dry our second night when it rained. Highly recommended!!

We loved staying at the cozy yurt in the woods. Emily has thought of all of the basic needs, and when we had a bunch of rain, there were tons of games go play inside.
The wood stove keeps everything nice and toasty!
There is a beautiful river right behind the yurt making the experience even more enjoyable.
The outhouse was clean and fully stocked.
This place was perfect to destress and reset

We had a lovely relaxing weekend at the yurt, we hope to come back next winter. Comfy beds, everything we needed for plates, cutlery etc. Clean outhouse, plenty of firewood.

My partner and I stayed at Emilyâs Yurt this past thanksgiving weekend 2025 as a last minute booking. Emily accommodated our stay and was very quick to respond. The yurt was stunning, weâve stayed at many hip camps and this was by far the best experience. From a eco friendly outhouse with a wood chip system, very clean and well stocked with necessities. The yurt had all supplies needed, along with many games and other activities to do. Canât thank Emily enough for sharing her beautiful property and being so welcoming.

The yurt was such a relaxing and peaceful place to stay! It is well stocked with utensils, plates, bowls, cups, games, firewood and all the little things in between. :) The sound of the river at night was magical. We are already looking forward to going back again.

So cool. Had a great time, Emily was immediately helpful and communicative. The yurt is secluded but not remote so no worries if you forgot something. There's a very cute town within walking distance. Would stay here again.

The yurt was such a cool experience, even for the winter! We love campfires so it was so fun being able to have one outside and the wood stove inside! Would totally recommend doing here with your fur babies too

This yurt was the absolute perfect stay. We arrived in an unexpected snow storm in the dark and Emilyâs instructions and directions were so clear that check in was smooth and easy. The stove kept the yurt toasty warm:) Would highly recommend for a cozy secluded stay in the woods:)

I got my husband Jim to bring extra wood just incase we ran out, BUT the wood was plentiful/ beds comfy/ sooooo many books and games, and the hot beverages were a real treat đ. Having our coffee this morning while sitting on the bench by the water, and listening to the birds was a great way to start our day. When we arrived we noticed that there was no water in the jug for washing dishes or drinking, but we were able to get some. No need to take cleaning supplies like I did, because the YURT had all of that plus a very clean outhouse that did not smell at all.

We loved our getaway at the Yurt! It had all of the supplies we needed, and Emily is great with communicating how to use everything. Even through very strong rains one night, the yurt stayed warm and cosy. The multitude of dry firewood was very much appreciated! And the sun roof on top is spectacular to look through at night.
The yurt itself has very high ceilings, so it doesn't feel cramped at all. However, the door is quite short, so taller people should take notice as to not bump their heads!

Awesome experience, beautiful time of year to camp there! Only downfall was the black walnut trees, and the walnuts falling. Donât park too close to the yurt, we ended up with a couple of dents in the hood and we only parked there for 15 minutes to unload. Aside from that, would definitely go again!

We loved Emily's yurt! Lots of space, our own little riverside deck area to enjoy our morning coffees, beautiful night sky from the same place. Emily was very responsive to our questions. We had a fabulous week. Thank you, Emily, for making it work so well.

We loved our stay at this little yurt. It's super private and close to the river. The canopy of trees offers lots of shade. The yurt was a perfect size for two of us and our dog!
Beds were okay, but my back likely would have been sore if more than two nights (but still beats sleeping on the ground in a tent!). We loved having the double bed for us and the single for our dog! (Saved us bringing his bed and he loved having it to himself)
The fire pit, hammock set up, picnic table and bbq were all excellent amenities and the sawdust toilet was insanely clean.
We were able to drive done the trail to the yurt without issue in our Hyundai Venue (very small sized SUV). Go slow as there are some pot holes,
Easy walk into town if you are looking for an outing. We cooked all of our meals onsite, but The Paisley Common coffee was delicious.

A beautiful place to unwind and relax! The sound of nature all around and also sitting by river was a highlight. Enjoyed and would highly recommend. Also enjoyed strolling the main street of Paisley and seeing all the neat shops.

Had a great time at the yurt, perfect location, great fpor kids, nice and warm and dry!!!! Was impressed with the outhouse!!!!! Had a bit of an issue at the end when I had mis[placed the key and emily was so kind, available anytime i messaged!! We would love to come back!

My family and I loved camping at our own private spot in the woods. Although, still close enough to town to enjoy the local spots it is quiet and peaceful. The firepit with many outdoor seating options is the perfect way to unwind at the end of the day. We definitely recommend for anyone looking to have a simple "camping" experience.

The Yurt is nestled in nature. A quiet, private place to chill. The Yurt is very comfortable and equipped with many essensials just in case you forget something. BBQ is a nice addition. We love to cook on an open fire so the abundance of wood was much appreciated....just remember a grill. This is our 2nd visit and there will be a 3rd. I highly recommend this lovely place and charming downtown well within walking distance.....and then there is the Saugeen and walking trails. A lot for a little!

Our stay at Emily's Paisley Mill yurt was so lovely. You can tell she put so much thought into every part of it and it truly made the experience memorable. The property is a great location, and the land is quiet surrounded by gorgeous trees. Thank you again for everything:)

Coffee , oatmeal and sweet hammock , this yurt comes fully equipped with lots of thought and kindness âŚ. From the games and the sketch pad to colour with ;) wood etc
Loved the walking trails by the old mill ;) beautiful poem quotes along the way and the swing
Great way to disconnect and be one with nature ;)

Our experience at the yurt was excellant for a first time experience. It was well stocked with anything we might possible need. The stock of firewood was very much appreciated as we come from the city and dont get to have fires to often. It was cool the one night, so we litebup the wood stove and it got nice and toasty. We would love to stay again sometime when we are coming to the area.â¤ď¸
