Explore 2km of private trails connecting to the Murray Canal & Millennium Trail – perfect for cyclists & nature lovers! Close to Prince Edward County’s wineries, Presqu’ile Provincial Park & Sandbanks. Explore quaint towns, local restaurants, farms and beaches. You're always less than an hour away from all that the area has to offer. Wake up to rooster crows and fall asleep to the haunting calls of the resident barred owl. In the wetlands woods, you can enjoy the sounds of spring peeper frogs and migrating songbirds. In summertime, expect mosquitos so bring your bug spray! The spacious glamping dome is 21ft diameter on a 750sqft deck. Inside the dome, there is a queen bed, pellet stove, armchairs and a compost toilet; perfect for a weekend stay any time of year. It's located on a 24 acre property, tucked in the woods next to a pond, and is accessible on a trail a short distance from the end of a long driveway. The site has 2km of trails throughout the property. You can access the canal trail from the property, which is also very close to the Millennium trail. Perfect location for hikers, cyclists, and Prince Edward County's charms and vineyards.

Woodlands Dome - Charming getaway

We really enjoyed our visit to the Woodlands Dome! It was such a unique experience being surrounded by trees and the sounds of chirping froggies. The interior of the dome was clean and beautifully and tastefully decorated. It was cool to get to try a pellet stove for the first time, which warmed the space quickly and comfortably. We slept great. We enjoyed the trails on the property, playing with the chickens, and visiting local sights in the area. Nearby walking distance is the canal for some beautiful sunsets. Mai was a great host and we highly recommend visiting!
