It`s prime fall colours in the county! Escape to this lovely geodesic dome and enjoy a cozy glamping experience, nestled in a serene forest. With a skylight and large window, the dome is naturally lit and insulated for a cozy feel. Inside you’ll find a queen bed, two sofa chairs, a wood pellet stove, mini-fridge, and eco-friendly composting toilet. The dome has electricity inside and outside. (Le français suit) Step outside onto a spacious deck overlooking a small pond. Explore 2km of private trails connecting to the Murray Canal and Millennium Trail – perfect for cyclists and nature lovers! Close to Prince Edward County’s wineries, Presqu’ile Provincial Park & Sandbanks. Explore quaint towns, local restaurants, farms and beaches. You're always less than an hour away from all that the area has to offer. Wake up to rooster crows and fall asleep to the haunting calls of the resident barred owl. In the wetlands woods, you can enjoy the sounds of spring peeper frogs and migrating songbirds. In summertime, expect mosquitos so bring your bug spray! Explorez 2 km de sentiers privés reliant la propriété à la Murray Canal et à la Millennium Trail – idéal pour les cyclistes et les amoureux de la nature. Proche des vignobles célèbres du comté de Prince Edward, du parc provincial de Presqu’île et des plages charmantes. Explorez les petites villes, les restaurants locaux et les fermes. A separate washroom area includes an eco-friendly compost toilet and camping sink. The door locks for your security and there is electricity inside and outside to charge your appliances. You can relax outdoors on a roomy deck with plenty of seating areas. It feels very private, yet is not too far from the main house. If you plan to cook at the site, bring your own portable grill and what you need; but if you are missing anything, we are happy to help! While there is no shower or laundry on site, let us know in advance if you think you`ll need access. --------- Ce dôme de glamping spacieux mesure 6,4 mètres de diamètre et repose sur une terrasse de 70 m². Il est situé sur un terrain de 9,7 hectares, niché dans les bois près d'un étang, et est accessible par un sentier à quelques pas du bout d'une longue allée. À l'intérieur de ce dôme spacieux, vous trouverez un lit queen-size confortable, deux fauteuils, un poêle à granulés de bois, un ventilateur sur pied, des prises électriques, un mini-réfrigérateur et de l'eau potable pour préparer votre thé ou votre café. Un espace sanitaire séparé comprend des toilettes à compost écologiques et un lavabo de camping. La porte se verrouille pour votre sécurité et l'électricité est disponible à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur pour recharger vos appareils. Vous pouvez vous détendre en plein air sur une terrasse spacieuse avec de nombreux coins salon. L'endroit offre une grande intimité, tout en étant proche de la maison principale. Si vous prévoyez de cuisiner sur place, apportez votre propre barbecue portable et tout ce dont vous avez besoin ; mais s'il vous manque quelque chose, nous serons ravis de vous aider ! Such a lovely little getaway! Everything was exactly as described, super clean and peaceful, with lots of privacy. We especially loved sitting outside at night, enjoying the beautiful view and stargazing. The host was so kind and welcoming, which made the stay even nicer. We left with such good memories and would love to come back one day!

Amazingly idyllic

Had a wonderful time in Mai's glamping dome! Mai and her flock of hens and rooster welcomed us, everything in the dome was well thought out, the space was beautiful, it was serene and quiet, and Mai was very accommodating. She recommended some great places, too, so we were spoiled for choice. I highly, highly recommend for a weekend getaway!

Wonderful Glamping Experience

My wife and I had a wonderful stay in the glamping dome on Mai’s land. The dome was comfortable and made the experience feel special, while the property itself was peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by beautiful nature. Mai was welcoming and helpful, and everything was well organized. We also really enjoyed seeing the chickens around the property, which added a charming countryside feel to the stay. It was a great place to relax, enjoy the outdoors, and get away from the city. We would definitely recommend it and would happily return.

Nice break away in a private space connected to nature. Everything was as shown in rental posting, clean & organized and a book to help guide for specific instructions. The host was excellent with details, supporting and questions. Would recommend and go again personally!

Beautiful and peaceful stay!

We really enjoyed our visit to the Woodlands Dome! It was such a unique experience being surrounded by trees and the sounds of chirping froggies. The interior of the dome was clean and beautifully and tastefully decorated. It was cool to get to try a pellet stove for the first time, which warmed the space quickly and comfortably. We slept great. We enjoyed the trails on the property, playing with the chickens, and visiting local sights in the area. Nearby walking distance is the canal for some beautiful sunsets. Mai was a great host and we highly recommend visiting!
