Your own private getaway with a private lake, sauna, forest, trails, wildlife and plenty of places to explore. When hungry, take in the local eateries, wineries, cideries and the trail capital of canada for mountain biking, hiking or walking. In the winter, skate on our private lake or hit the slopes at lake ridge ski or dagmar.Staycation at our glamping Dome. The igloo that lasts all year. Take in the sounds of your private creek, your semi private lake or your semi private forest. There are turtles, otters, beavers, owl and pretty much all other wildlife that you just might encounter. Take a hike through our forest or a dip in the lake. Warm up with a sauna or campfire. The Dome has absolute privacy without another person within 300ft. The dome has 1 queen bed. There is room at the site for a pop up tent if you'd like to invite up to 4 extra guests. Please note the lake, sauna and BBQ are shared with the home on the property. The dome area is completely private though.

Disappointing Experience at igloo

Uxbridge Igloo, Sauna and Lake

I recently stayed at the Uxbridge Igloo with my girlfriend and unfortunately, our experience was marred by a series of issues. Upon arrival, we were dismayed to find that our dome wasn't cleaned and the bed wasn't made, with the owner apologizing that the cleaning person had forgotten about our booking. To make matters worse, our check-in time was delayed until 6 pm, four hours later than expected. Additionally, the wood for the bonfire was wet due to the rain and hadn't been covered, making it unusable. To top it all off, the heater stopped working in the middle of the night, leaving us shivering with cold. Despite the igloo's unique charm, these issues made for an uncomfortable and disappointing stay.

Birthday getaway

Uxbridge Igloo, Sauna and Lake

It was my husband's special birthday surprise. We loved that it was secluded, peaceful and we'll prepared before our arrival. Host sent a.message with all details mentioned, firepit and sauna were ready to use, beautiful lake and river, we walked on trail, had a very lovely getaway and it's not so far from the city. Nice comfy bed with lots of blankets and pillows.

Uxbridge Igloo, Sauna and Lake

Awesome facilities, the igloo was complete with all the necessities and had board games. Host was quick to respond and provided very clear instructions. Sauna was a very nice touch to end the trip in the cool autumn weather

We had a fantastic time in the igloo. It was a beautiful site and the igloo felt very luxury. The wood fired sauna under the stars was a real highlight and a lovely memory we will cherish

Perfect location

Uxbridge Igloo, Sauna and Lake

This place was absolutely perfect. Great accommodation, great location and great hosts. Our dogs loved being off leash and swimming in the lake. Felt very private and secluded. Would highly recommend.

Relaxing fun igloo weekend

Uxbridge Igloo, Sauna and Lake

Amazing location with everything you need to have a fun relaxing weekend. The bed in the igloo is very comfy. The igloo is much more spacious than I expected with lots of thoughtful touches. The forested area around it was very nice. The sauna and lake combination was amazing! There’s also tons of water toys and things to do, we had a blast! We were also very lucky to meet and spend time with the owners, they were very fun and kind. We will be coming back again guaranteed!
