Loved our stay here - start to finish! Angela and her husband are beyond hospitable. Every detail of the cabin was so thoughtful and they provided everything you could think of to be comfortable! Will love to come back soon :)

My spouse and I had an amazing and unforgettable two days. The location was perfect — right in the forest, yet so close to the city center. It’s definitely a must-visit for nature lovers.
Everything in the cottage was thoughtfully prepared and very clean. Angie and Arnold were truly wonderful hosts. They checked in to see if we needed anything and were always happy to help.
Thank you so much — we feel lucky to have met such kind people. We definitely want to come back again!

As always, we had the most amazing time spent at the Forest Chalet. So peaceful and Angie and Arnold continue to treat us like family. We will be back many more times.

Really enjoyed my experience on Angela and Arnold's property. They were more than welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. Loved meeting the horses and Hamish the cow. A really great spot for a quiet weekend getaway.

We had the best weekend getaway at Spirit Ridge Acres! Angela and Arnold were the greatest hosts I’ve ever experienced and made the entire trip so enjoyable and safe! You can really tell they love what they are doing and put a lot of effort into ensuring everyone has a nice time.
The cabin was clean and comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed a fire every evening with our hosts and the other couple renting the second cabin which was awesome! There are plenty of trails and they even took us out to the field to pet the horses and Scottish highland cow!
If you’re looking for a getaway, look no further :)

Angie and Arnie have done a fantastic job with their bunkies! Their hospitality and kindness made it feel like you were right at home!! They offer amazing trails, cozy bunkies, a great communal fire pit where we got to meet other visitors and spend the night telling stories and getting to know everyone. The amenities they offer is all you need on a weekend away with a BBQ, microwave, mini fridge, indoor and outdoor eating spaces and a very clean and comfortable washroom. Their animals are very friendly and welcoming as well and the wildlife ensures you have that wilderness escape. This was the first time my wife and I had gone on one of these weekend escapes and I would recommend Angie and Arnies paradise to anyone. I know we will surely be back to visit!! Very fortunate for having met these two amazing individuals 😀

We enjoyed our time at the cabin. It felt private and had most necessities. The cabin was built well and the toilet was very neat. The best thing was how quiet it was.

This was our second time (and not the last) visiting Angie and Arnold at the cabin. If you are looking for a beautiful setting with amazing hosts run to book this property. We will be back. We now consider the hosts family.

We had an amazing night at Angie and Arn's place! The cabin was all set for us on arrival, and Arn gave us a tour of the whole property. The cabin was very comfortable and felt very homey. Plus we were able to explore the property on the ever growing hiking trails they're clearing. We also stopped into their workshop studio where they sell custom woodworking and gem pieces! We walked away with an awesome new wooden shelf. We'd absolutely recommend staying here and plan on returning soon.

We loved our time in the Forest Chalet! Every amenity was thought of. Arnold and Angie are great hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. The cabin and washroom were super clean. Loved the decor right down to the little hoof prints on the bar! We enjoyed our morning breakfast looking out at the forest and listening to the 🐦 birds. Nothing but silence and nature which we all need. We also enjoyed walking down the paths through the forest and a visit with their two horses 🐎 who enjoyed treats and grooming. Can't wait to return again. Thanks so much Arnold and Angie 😀

We stayed at the Woodland's hideaway for 3 days and had the best time ever! Angela and Arnold are the sweetest hosts you will ever meet and have made our time at the cabin absolutely delightful. The property is amazing, well maintained and a dream for nature lovers. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, this is the place for you. The cabin is cozy, equipped with a microwave, coffee machine, small cooler, a barbecue and cute sit out. Angie and Arnold go out of their way to ensure everything is perfect. It was hard for us to leave the place given the wonderful time we had. Special shout-out to Bear, one of the cutest dogs you'll meet. He definitely adds to the charm of the place. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit the beautiful town of Bobcaygeon.

We spent an amazing time in the beautiful scenery ❣️The forest green morning is worth everything ❤️ The cabin we found in a very great and clean shape. Angela and her husband are very professional hosts ✨️and I fell in love with the cutest and happiest dog they have. At the end of our journey we visited the wood craft store,which is located at the same farm and you have to no know, that they are the real artists! and we come back home ,not only relaxed but also with a great pieces of art made by this beautiful people 💕
We definitely will be back to check how amazing can be the place in the fall time. 💕

Arnie and Angie's campsite with the bunkie was lovely. They are both very kind, caring and excellent hosts. We had a lovely time and the bunkie was well equipped and well thought of to make our stay comfortable. They had lovely horses, cow, doggie bear, chicken and wild birds. They took us on a tour of their property (their beautiful paradise) which was really enjoyable.

The Forest Chalet
We stayed for two nights and three days, and it was a really nice break. The room was nicely decorated and cozy, with a barbecue, a lunch table, and even a light to keep the mosquitoes away.
The hosts were super friendly and made us feel welcome. They set up a campfire for us one evening, which was really relaxing. They even brought us some tasty tarts, which was a nice surprise. They also gave us helpful directions for exploring the area.
We visited Fenelon Falls and Highland Park, which were both beautiful. We tried tubing in Highland Park and went fishing in Buckhorn, both of which were fun ways to spend some time.
Overall, it was a peaceful and enjoyable trip. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway in nature, this place is definitely worth checking out.
