Peaceful tent camping with access to Mountain Lake. Perfect for nature lovers, quiet, experienced self-sufficient campers. Check in after 2 pm till before dark. Check out is Noon. Pack it in pack it out policy. The campsites are located down a hill and are close to the lake. Each site has a fire pit, picnic table and ample room for tents and parking for one vehicle. There is one outhouse on the property near the lake access that is to be shared with all campers. There are walking trails to respectfully explore and enjoy local flora and fauna. On clear nights the starry vistas will unfold in the Dark Sky Preserve here on the Bruce Peninsula. The lakefront has a picnic table to enjoy a meal at (no fire pit). You can push off from the shoreline with your kayaks or canoes (bring your own) to explore “The Fens” of Mountain Lake. The lake is NOT suitable for swimming, it has a marl bottom that you will sink into. There is no potable water, please bring your own for drinking and cooking. There are some nice beaches suitable for swimming within a 15-20 minute drive. Sauble Beach is best for a swim and to watch the sunset from. We are located 10 minutes from Wiarton, 20 minutes from Sauble Beach and 1 hour from Tobermory. Enjoy all the Bruce Peninsula has to offer from this convenient base. 2SLGBTQIA supporter 🌈 Please Note: Quiet hours are from 11 p.m. - 6 a.m. Check in after 2pm Must arrive before dark. No late night check ins. Check out time is NOON, unless otherwise pre-arranged with the host. Small group camping only (4 person max per site). No parties. No late arrivals. No ATVs. Any children must be supervised by an adult at all times. The farm animals and livestock are not part of this Hipcamp experience. Please refrain from visiting the host’s farm and house. No pets, as we have farm dogs and livestock. Our dogs are friendly and may wander down to say hello. Our dogs are working dogs and protect our livestock from the coyotes, foxes, raccoons etc … it is wild here. All flammable materials, including cigarettes, are to be extinguished and ‘packed out’. There is No garbage disposal, please take away the garbage you create. Pack it in and take it out

Site # 1 is a Large Site on the Lake level, (close to the Lake). There is plenty of room for a vehicle, canoe/kayak, gear and tent(s). It is a short walk to our Mountain Lake access and Outhouse. A Stone Firepit with a cooking grill, and picnic table are provided for camper's use. Shade is available in the connecting cedar forest. The Picnic table can be moved within the site only, please return it back to the spot where you found it. There is no potable water, electricity, or garbage recycling services Pack it in and pack it out please! It is Semi private (Site #2 is within view 100 feet apart, privacy tree line is growing between them)

Site # 3 Not Lake Level is a Large Site that it is up one level on the hill from the Lake. There is plenty of room for a vehicle, canoe/kayak, gear and tent(s). It is a two minute walk to our Mountain Lake access and Outhouse. A round metal Firepit with a cooking grill, and picnic table are provided for camper's use. Shade is available with trees close by. Please be aware that there is a steep hill on the lake side of this site. The Picnic table can be moved within the site only, please return it to the spot where you found it. There is no potable water, electricity, or garbage recycling services Pack it in and pack it out please! This site is a little more private, you cannot see the other two sites. It is very quiet here though, so you will hear other campers.

It was amazing experience at Victoria’s land. Area was nice and clean, clear marks to rach there. Their dogs are so nice and lovely. Site is so quiet amd perfect for camping.

Chris and Victoria were fantastics hosts! Friendly, helpful, and all around added to the experience. The property was easy to find, and I had no issues getting my car and and down the hill to the site. The land was very well kept and quiet, and the dogs were adorable and super friendly. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area.

Victoria's spot was just what we were looking for! It was peaceful, relaxing and clean. The dogs were so friendly. We will definitely book again when we are back up that way!

We had a wonderful stay at this campground! Victoria and Chris were warm and welcoming hosts, and their three dogs were so friendly (we loved when they stopped by the site for some pats). The property is peaceful, with plenty of space to relax. Nights were quiet and calm, and the sky was full of stars - a perfect spot for stargazing. Plus, it’s just a short drive to Saugeen Beach, which was a great bonus. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway!

We had a great time camping at Olde Eden on Mountain Lake. The land was perfectly taken care of and we were nestled in the trees making the area feel very private, especially since we were the only campers between sites 1 and 2. The lake was really nice to sit by in the morning and watch the sun come up. Thank you very much for making this space for campers!

We absolutely loved our time at Olde Eden Farm! The campsite is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by nature and dogs! — the perfect escape from the city. The hosts were warm and welcoming. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with the outdoors

I am an annual visitor at this property. As usual, the stay was very comfortable. Site #3 offers slightly more privacy. This time I again got the opportunity to meet the wonderful dogs. They are very friendly and love to be patted. I will visit again. Thank you for making my stay as comfortable as you always do.

This is a really lovely campsite right next to the lake with fairly private camping lots. You have to like the dogs though; the owners do warn that the dogs will be present and they surely will, a lot!

I recently stayed at Olde Eden, a private campsite near Mountain Lake, and it was exactly the kind of peaceful escape I was hoping for. I camped with a tent and found the site to be quiet, well-maintained, and surrounded by nature—perfect for anyone looking to unplug and recharge. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. One of the highlights was the location: it’s just a short distance from several great hiking trails, so there was plenty to explore during the day before coming back to a calm and cozy spot at night. I didn’t encounter any downsides during my stay, and I’d absolutely recommend Olde Eden to anyone looking for a quiet, scenic camping experience with easy access to the outdoors.

We enjoyed our stay at Victoria's lovely campsite. The area is beautiful and secluded, with access to trails and a great view of Mountain Lake. We stayed at site 3, which is the most private but also the furthest from the outhouse. Make sure to take a look at the night sky while you're here: this was some of the best stargazing we have seen. Victoria is a wonderful host: she is very friendly, accommodating, and communicative. The best part was the welcome committee of her 3 friendly and cute dogs! Overall we had a great time camping at this site & we would definitely stay here again.

We loved camping here for two nights! This is a fantastic location if you are planning to spend the weekend at Bruce Peninsula! Cozy, and tidy location, easily accessible and the lake at sunset is a beauty! We will definitely be back!

It's beautiful here. The area is very quiet, and extremely well kept! The camp sites are quite big with lots of privacy and the outhouse was the cleanest I've ever used. The host is also very communicative and accommodating! Thank you for the stay! We loved it

This was my third visit to the camp site, however, this time it was at campsite #3. The hosts are awesome. As always, the visit was very safe and comfortable, and stargazing was exquisite since it was a new moon night. Highly recommend the site.

Our recent camping trip to Olde Mountain Camping Site was an absolute delight! The site, managed by Victoria, exceeded all expectations. Everything was beautifully maintained and the natural surroundings were breathtaking. Victoria was incredibly helpful and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. A special highlight was the presence of three super friendly dogs who added an extra layer of warmth and fun to the experience. Whether it was the scenic trails or the pristine campsite, every aspect of our visit was flawless. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a serene and enjoyable camping experience!

Well organized and tidy camping venue with only 3 sites that were spacious and quite separate which provides privacy. There is a nicely appointed shared outhouse (closest to site 1) which worked well for us (as sites 2&3 were unoccupied - I am sure it works well also when all sites are occupied). We did not have a chance to explore the paths on the property that were inviting as we spent most of the time exploring the peninsula using recommendations from the Hipcamp host. This included a much quieter beach for sunset at Oliphant. We really enjoyed eating out (twice) at the Green Door restaurant in Wiarton. We also preordered some delicious fresh eggs from our host for breakfast. Make sure to bring water for drinking (and washing up). The property is also very conveniently located a 15-20 min drive from shops (in Wiarton) and other enjoyable hiking destinations.

This camping spot was a nice and peaceful place to sleep at night. The lake was beautiful and the area is quiet and easy to get to. The only thing that could make this spot better would be an outdoor shower, but only really needed if you’re staying multiple days. Otherwise, it’s perfect for a relaxing place to be. I came solo and felt perfectly safe and at ease here.

We loved our stay at Olde Eden Farm. The property is gorgeous and the host Victoria was fantastic, very attentive and helpful, and offered us great tips on activities to do and sites to see in the area. Directions were laid out well and we found our site easily. The three very friendly dogs visiting our site was a bonus. Would stay here again whenever we are next in the area!

Myself and my partner really enjoyed our stay at Site #3. There were other campsites nearby but our area felt really private and we couldn't hear anything! Victoria was very friendly and accommodating, and gave lots of advice for camping and for the area. The 3 dogs were also fabulous company, they would come visit occasionally and enjoyed playing or just chilling out! The area was very scenic, with some nice little trails on the property and a beautiful lakeside outlook. We got to watch fireworks across the lake, surrounded by fireflies, it was amazing! I would happily stay at this site again, and can't recommend it enough.

My boyfriend and I had a great time camping here. It was very peaceful and we had two very cute dogs as tour guides 🥰 The fireflies at night were beautiful and we had a nice sit by the lake which was only a few feet away from our campsite. Victoria and Chris were very accommodating and very quick to respond. Overall a great experience, will be back.
