At our organic farm we like to give our campers lots of space so each camper can enjoy waking up by the sounds of the birds and a stunning sunrise.
FACILITIES
We have a beautiful organic farm and a few spots for you to stay alongside (or in) our fields. You really get off grid here. We have water to fill up your tank and 30 amp electricity. There's wifi near the house. And for a small fee you can get wood for a campfire.
For swimming we recommend the beautiful beaches in Rondeau Park, only a few minutes away! Also, you can walk or cycle to town for an ice cream or groceries.

* Book an oil painting session for 35,- (Pay upon arrival. Excl. water mixable oil paint, but available in our store). Learn painting like the old masters!
* Nearby there's plenty to do. You won't get bored: Greenview Aviaries Park and Zoo (7min), Rondeau Park (19min) for beaches and birdwatching, breweries (25min) and Josiah Henson Museum of African-Canadian History (31min).

We’d love to host you—send us a message anytime! From the driveway where you park your camper you can see glimpses of the water. We are a 4 minute walk to a waterfront parkette and 15 min bike/50 minute walk to the local beach and 10 min bike/ 35 minute walk to local recreation centre. The great lakes waterfront trail is directly across the street.
No animals please. We have a small toy poodle who is extremely friendly.

We just bought an old house inside of a Forrest. It is beautiful! We are fixing it up to be a great spot! The property is huge and gorgeous! Pond, berries, gardens, beach near by. We are working hard at making our life to live off of our land. Animals welcomed! ( we do have a dog door, our dogs may come out to say "Hi" Come check us out!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Angler Camp! Steven and his wife went above and beyond to accommodate us. They even had surprise Easter eggs on the grass for our small children to hunt on Easter morning. We had everything we needed. Their land was clean, tons of grass, private and peaceful. Definitely incredibly hosts and campsite!

Pleasant hosts; nice level spot with a full bathroom steps away; and we weren’t able to take advantage of the pool in late March, but I could see that being a nice additional benefit. Site located just off a busy road, so this is not a rustic retreat, but the traffic died down by the time we went to sleep and was quiet on a Saturday morning. If you’re headed to Point Pelee or driving the Wine Trail, this is a convenient option with quick access to Leamington and Kingsville. Would recommend.

We first stayed at Angler’s Camp over Labor Day weekend and loved it so much we came back a month later for another weekend. Steve is a great host—friendly, welcoming, and keeps everything in perfect shape. The place is peaceful, quiet, and has everything you need. My husband and I really enjoyed just sitting back, reading, watching the stars, and soaking in the calm. It’s exactly the kind of relaxing getaway we were looking for.

Sandra and family are simply amazing. The farm is stunning and they’re some of the kindest folks you could ever meet. Very down to earth and welcoming. As a gay couple, you never know how you will be received and the moment we stepped foot on the farm we felt welcomed.
There is an Airbnb on property which we plan to have our friends book next time when we stay with our camper.
The farm itself is beautiful and steps away from the water. The sunset was amazing. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Nice quiet spot, was happy there was full hookups. Volleyball area/ horseshoes game available for the campers. We had some campfires and company were able visit us. Free wifi as well! Great weekend and we will visit again next year! Thankyou!

Great value and a cute spot right off the highway. Perfect for a stopover on a long trip. The host was extremely friendly and even came out to help us set up our tent in the dark. I would highly recommend this place. As some people have mentioned, it is right beside the highway and it is quite loud - having earplugs was helpful!

Actually everything went wrong lol which made it something to remember. It was my boyfriend’s first time going to a drive in. And he’s not use to real camping so this was amazing to me lol
We arrived later and were let in around 630
I brought the smaller tent and my larger air mattress. The air mattress did not fit into the tent or into the truck. We got a spot for the movie and his trucks interior lights wouldn’t go off. I had to have my foot up due to it being broken. So I had to use both our chairs and he sat on the ground. Couldn’t hear most of what was being said but could follow the movie. Eventually it got too cold and wet so he had to use a chair and my foot swole up. Intermission Boyfriend found a way to trick the latch so the lights would go off but got the hook he used got stuck. We Had to tie the truck shut and use bolt cutters when we got home. We had to use all our blankets for under us for a softer sleep in the back of the suv, leaving us cuddling for warmth.
He kept saying before we even started this is so much work. He jinxed us!! But we would definitely come back. Lots of space to choose a nice spot for the tent. Big fire pits. Friendly staff. Great price. Thinking next time the big tent lol

We had a fire pit in an open space beside the RV (which was gravel, that helped with leveling). Will be back again to spot 3 in the future! Thanks for making our first RV camping trip pleasant.

We had the most wonderful time at this campsite on Pelee Island! I went with my mom, nephew, and our two dogs, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The site itself was private, cozy, and just the right size to set up our two tents comfortably. Everything was spotless and well cared for, and they went above and beyond by providing thoughtful extras like chairs, two screened-in rooms (a lifesaver for escaping the mosquitoes), and even some firewood to get us started.
From the very first day, Nela was absolutely amazing. She sent me clear and easy-to-follow directions, all the details we needed to settle in, and even shared some great suggestions that made our trip extra special. It’s clear how much care she puts into making sure guests feel welcome and comfortable.
The location was fantastic—just a short walk to the beach, which both we and the dogs loved. Between the peaceful site, the helpful touches, and the natural beauty all around, we couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. We loved every second of our stay and will definitely be coming back!

We had an amazing weekend at Boonie’s Drive-In! The atmosphere was quiet, welcoming, and family-friendly, and the owner even took time to chat with us. The food was excellent and well priced — the fries are a must-try! Our favorite part was introducing the younger generation to a tradition the older generation has always loved. Bathrooms were clean, everything was tidy, and everyone was respectful. We’ll definitely be back and plan on bringing more family in the future!

Overview
About
Point Pelee is one of Canada’s smallest national parks, but there’s still plenty to do. Head for “The Tip of Canada,” the country’s southernmost point, or swim at the sandy Lake Erie beaches. Canoe or kayak through the wetlands, stroll the Marsh Boardwalk, or look for monarch butterflies that migrate through the region. If you’re into bird watching, try spotting some of the nearly 400 species that have been identified nearby. While there’s no tent or RV camping within Point Pelee National Park, you can stay in one of 24 oTENTik platform tents.

- Best for families: Camp Henry oTENTiks
Tips for snagging a campsite
- Set on wooden platforms, each of the oTENTiks at Point Pelee National Park can sleep up to six people. Located at Camp Henry north of the park visitor centre, the oTENTiks have two queen beds, one double bed, and an interior sitting area. Outside, there’s a gas BBQ, food storage locker, and picnic table with washrooms nearby.
- Reserve your oTENTik on the Parks Canada reservations site, which opens for Point Pelee in mid-January. Book as soon as possible if you’re staying spring through fall. The park and oTENTiks are open year-round.
When to go
For birding, come to Point Pelee in spring, particularly in May when migrating birds stop over in the region and the park hosts an annual bird-watching festival. Spring is the park’s busiest season, so book accommodations in advance. To spot monarch butterflies, which travel through the area from late August into early October, visit in the fall. Because this Canadian park is close to the U.S. border, it’s particularly busy during both U.S. and Canadian holiday weekends.
Know before you go
- Allow about four hours to drive to the park from Toronto, or roughly an hour, plus time to cross the border, from Detroit. Windsor, Ontario, is the nearest “major” city.
- You can buy groceries and other supplies in Leamington or Kingsville, just outside the park. A small shop in the park’s Camp Henry Campground Office sells sunscreen, snacks, and other essentials.
- From spring through fall, you can’t drive to “the Tip,” the narrow spit of land that marks Canada’s southernmost point. Take the free shuttle from the Visitor Centre, walk, or bike instead.
- Like wine? The Essex County wineries are just outside the park.

A must-see site if you’re anywhere in the southern Ontario / Detroit area. Sweeping views of Lake Erie, numerous walking trails, a very cool observation platform at the point, and of course bountiful wildlife. Worth a half-day excursion - esp. off season (we went end-March on a sunny Friday and only encountered a handful of people).
