I live on the property in a separate cabin, with three indoor cats - Artemis, Luna, and Nemo. They can hang with you or I can keep them away depending on your preference. When I book individual rooms, I fix breakfast for my guests. When the entire cabin is booked, I can still provide breakfast or you can have the place all to yourself. Nature is strong here. The cabin is rustic, some of the native plants can be prickly, and pollinators are everywhere - including the honeybees with stingers (who live in three different natural hives on the property).

Campers have access to a bathroom with a shower that is located in the basement of the cabin. All campers need to check-in with the on-site owners. All gear can be transported with a golf cart.

Madden Farm has been in the Madden family and its descendants for seven generations. The original farmhouse on Madden Farm dates back to the 1860s. In 1980, a second dwelling was added to the property when a cabin on a nearby farm was moved across the fields and placed near Madden Pond. In recent years, the family has endeavored to be good stewards of the land by planting trees, growing fruits and vegetables while incorporating sustainable practices. Also of interest, since 2014, family members from Madden Farm have hosted the Madden Road Music Fest, a one-day music festival held annually on the second Saturday in August.
Our camping sites are secluded, offering a variety of shade and sunshine. Each site has a picnic table and fire pit. Great location as Columbus is 30 min to the east, Dayton is 25 min to the west. 13 min to I 675 and 20 min to Interstate 75 N/S. I 71 N/S Columbus is 35 min away in downtown Columbus...

This 5 acre property is loaded with activities! The stocked pond (catch and release) is a great place to teach your kids how to fish. You don't have to be an experienced fisherman to catch a fish in this pond! Swimming, kayaking, paddle boat, cornhole, small beach area for the little ones, and 2 acres of wooded trails for those who enjoy a peaceful walk. Wildlife is abundant and they prefer to be left alone. Please stay on the trails to preserve all vegetation. If you see a fawn or other babies, please do not touch these animals. Momma will be back! If you see one in distress, please contact the host.
The community area at the gazebo offers a charcoal grill (charcoal available for purchase), seating, electric outlets, and water. Please be considerate to other guest while using this area. Trash receptacles are available at different areas on the property.
Fresh eggs and produce will be available when in season. Please ask if you are interested.
Campsites are located in the woods and are primitive. Sites include picnic table, fire pit, and trash can. Campers have access to a bathroom with a shower that is located in the basement of the cabin. All campers need to check-in with the on-site owners. All gear can be transported with a golf cart.

Madden Farm has been in the Madden family and its descendants for seven generations. The original farmhouse on Madden Farm dates back to the 1860s. In 1980, a second dwelling was added to the property when a cabin on a nearby farm was moved across the fields and placed near Madden Pond. In recent years, the family has endeavored to be good stewards of the land by planting trees, growing fruits and vegetables while incorporating sustainable practices. Also of interest, since 2014, family members from Madden Farm have hosted the Madden Road Music Fest, a one-day music festival held annually on the second Saturday in August.

Croaky Oak Clearing of Good Knights Reserve is located in Ohio and a 25-30 minute drive to Dublin. You'll have nothing but peace and privacy on the back 15 acres of the property. A 1/2 mile drivable path will take you to the one site offered. Here you can pitch your tent, build a campfire, catch and release a few fish from the pond, or choose to sit on the floating dock with your feet in the water. There are also a few short trails to meander through. Loved this spot… although we made a mistake and had planned for an electric hookup for heat. We stayed one night anyway and loved having even a short time on this property. The farm was really an incredible property. We brewed coffee on the provided propane stove and enjoyed a quiet morning on the swing by the creek while enjoying our hot coffee. It felt like a happy accident that we accidentally stumbled on a site that we’ll return to with our solar panels for a boondocking trip in the future. And If you are a tent camper, this spot is one of the best we’ve seen, hands down. Book now!

We had a great stay! The setup was a breeze, and Audrey was incredibly helpful throughout the process.
What We Loved:
Easy Setup: Setup was easy and Audrey was very helpful. The electric hookup was conveniently close, and Audrey even provided a hose extension since the water was a few yards away.
It was a unique experience waking up to the sounds of the chickens and crowing rooster. There is also an abundance of grass to hangout if that's what you're looking for.
Could Be Improved / Important Notes:
The actual spot I stayed on (15amp) was part of the rock driveway.
The turkeys are a bit curious and hopped onto my truck and camper. I was worried their talons might damage the cloth. However, after messaging Audrey, she quickly put them away which eased my worry.
Overall Impression:
Audrey was a very responsive and accommodating host. I would book again if heading to that area.

Definitely recommend booking this campsite! It was a lovely property, including highland cows (a baby was born just a few weeks ago!), the farmhouse, and the campsite itself. There is a great fire pit, picnic table, outhouse, and porch swing - what more could you need! The stream next to the campsite was so peaceful to sleep to. The owners were very kind and even surprised us with some cookies when we checked in. Cannot wait to book again!

Our tent camping getaway was a dream!! Plenty of space to enjoy board games or cards at the picnic table, cook on the provided propane stove top, or chat around the stone lined fire pit! This place was decked out with so many bells and whistles! The entire property is beautifully maintained and the host was an interesting and witty man. The outhouse was uber clean and had a water source (bath and body works pump soap! Bonus!) with a sink for washing and rinsing! The camp site location was nestled in a cozy cocoon alongside a stream and surrounded by trees, but just a quick walk to hike trails, visit chickens (yes, you can buy fresh eggs!) peacocks, bulls and a couple pot bellied pigs! We were given homemade cookies and pup treats in adorable packaging upon arrival and I’m here to say….we are already planning our next trip!! See you in the Spring, Vaughn! Could go on and on!! Just splendid!

Owners were great- he met us with his golf cart and made setting up our camp site super easy. The site itself was secluded and primative- exactly what we were looking for. Shower/bathroom was clean and very handy. Also, this site is close to the lake which was ideal for fishing. The pond on-site was also great to fish in. Had more success there than at the lake! Would recommend! Only thing to note- we brought our hammock and at this particular site we had to set it up on the entrance path as there wasn't a ton of great trees to use at this particular campsite at Fairhaven.
