This was by far the best camping spot that my friends and I have found 🫶 Not only was the actual site so beautiful, but the rest of their land was as well. The shower was great, the bathroom was clean, and we had fun visiting the animals. Thank you to Vaughn and his wife (I’m sorry we didn’t catch your name), she baked us the most delicious cookies ever and had him bring them down to us 😊You can expect a wonderful stay when you book with these folks. ☀️🍃

Great campsite and great hosts. It's on our list of campsites to definitely go back to.
The campsite is well maintained and the location is peaceful and beautiful. It's really nice to sit in the swing by the creek, and listen to it as you fall asleep.

This was my first time using HipCamp and it was incredible. I stayed here for 5 nights while I attended a 5 day health and wellness conference.
The family who owns the property are so kind, thoughtful and helpful. They made me feel comfortable right away.
Deana makes these amazing cookies and she was kind enough to let me place a small order of them to take home to my family. Absolutely delicious 😍
The site and piece of property is beautiful. As someone who loves camping the site was more than I could ever expect. Large, extremely private, peaceful, all the sounds of nature with a toilet and shower near by.
While visiting the shower I got to say hi to a cow and turkeys which day my morning.
It’s truly my kind of place and I hope to return.

The site is beautiful, perfect for our large family. When you walk down into the campsite, it looks like a fairy glen! Beautiful, clear water in the creek, great for wading through. There's even an area deep enough to swim. We loved the sounds of the animals, and how it was quiet otherwise. Very private, with no other campers to worry about with the dogs. This is the first time we've been able to bring all our dogs, and they loved it as much as we did! The family are wonderful, kind people that truly seem to enjoy hosting families on their property. Honestly, not a single bad thing to say! We would recommend it to anyone and everyone we know!

This is a special place! Beautiful property, easy highway access, creekside for sound and birdwatching, a spotless outhouse with water for handwashing, very private from the main home, and a host that us welcoming and quick to reply.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We have a truck bed tent and we were able to get the truck down at the camping spot, right next to the creek which made it even better. The animals and outdoor shower were the icing on the cake. We will be back!

This was our first time using Hipcamp and this spot might have spoiled us. The site was great. It was super peaceful with gentle stream sounds broken only by the occasional sounds of a turkey and peacocks in the distance from the farm. The pasture was a great place to play some long fetch with our dog. The complimentary gas stove was great for cooking and the outhouse was super cute and really nice! Vaughn and his wife were very friendly and accommodating. Looking forward to booking this site again soon!
2nd year at this campsite. We love the one secluded campsite for privacy. Falling asleep to the rippling brook is awesome. We live around 15-20 minutes from here but love the convenience of it be close to home, yet a wonderful camping getaway from our everyday lives. The outhouse is clean and nearby. We love to go chat with the hobby farm animals as well. The host is quick to respond to questions and very accommodating. Thanks for the cookies. Will again share this site with family and friends. Thanks for another great trip

If you want to camping and no other campers around, this is the place. Only one site right in the creek. Fire ring, propane cooking stove, picnic table and the nicest outhouse with running water to washup is all part of site. $15 additional for wood right at the site.
Extremely nice hosts made sure everything was wonderful. Will stay more than one night next trip.

This is one of the top sites I have ever visited, and thats before the highland cows and peacocks!! Vaughn was lovely, and the site a slice of heaven!! The view of the creek and the little swing were just magical. The outhouse was very clean and a close walk to the site.

This was the perfect secluded getaway. Peaceful, and the creek provided great sleep sounds. My dog absolutely loved the open space and freedom to explore—it made the experience even more special for us. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, making sure everything was comfortable without being intrusive. Overall, a truly great camping experience. Will be returning :)
The site is wonderful! A nice private space on a beautiful property. Camping next to the water was so relaxing. The hosts are friendly but not at all intrusive. Some of our plans were cut short by rainy weather, but if we are in the area we will definitely be back.
I almost want to keep this spot a secret for myself, but I won’t be greedy. It has everything I could want in a campsite: a huge fire pit, a picnic table, a heady-duty table with propane stovetop, a swing overlooking a shallow creek, and an outhouse. Well-maintained trails and very close to Sycamore State Park. I believe they only have one campsite which is super nice when you’re looking for some quiet time away from people : )

Loved this spot… although we made a mistake and had planned for an electric hookup for heat. We stayed one night anyway and loved having even a short time on this property. The farm was really an incredible property. We brewed coffee on the provided propane stove and enjoyed a quiet morning on the swing by the creek while enjoying our hot coffee. It felt like a happy accident that we accidentally stumbled on a site that we’ll return to with our solar panels for a boondocking trip in the future. And If you are a tent camper, this spot is one of the best we’ve seen, hands down. Book now!

Well kept and equiped location. Situated right on the bank of a creek from which soothing sounds lulls you to a peaceful night's sleep.

Definitely recommend booking this campsite! It was a lovely property, including highland cows (a baby was born just a few weeks ago!), the farmhouse, and the campsite itself. There is a great fire pit, picnic table, outhouse, and porch swing - what more could you need! The stream next to the campsite was so peaceful to sleep to. The owners were very kind and even surprised us with some cookies when we checked in. Cannot wait to book again!
Our tent camping getaway was a dream!! Plenty of space to enjoy board games or cards at the picnic table, cook on the provided propane stove top, or chat around the stone lined fire pit! This place was decked out with so many bells and whistles! The entire property is beautifully maintained and the host was an interesting and witty man. The outhouse was uber clean and had a water source (bath and body works pump soap! Bonus!) with a sink for washing and rinsing! The camp site location was nestled in a cozy cocoon alongside a stream and surrounded by trees, but just a quick walk to hike trails, visit chickens (yes, you can buy fresh eggs!) peacocks, bulls and a couple pot bellied pigs! We were given homemade cookies and pup treats in adorable packaging upon arrival and I’m here to say….we are already planning our next trip!! See you in the Spring, Vaughn! Could go on and on!! Just splendid!

We did tent camping with our 2 dogs. It was a nice secluded camp site, next to a creek. The pit toilet was clean.The hosts were accommodating and pleasant. We would definitely stay here again.
What a wonderful stay! It was private, beautiful, and the hosts were great. Everything was done well - from the outhouse to the swing to the cooktop. It was private as advertised- far enough away from the barn and house, and the roosters we’rent too close in the morning. 😊
