Welcome to our serene oasis in Preble County! Our property features wide-open farmland leading back to a tranquil forested creek, nestled in a valley teeming with wildlife. Enjoy playing in the creek, exploring the woods, and immersing yourself in nature's beauty. This property is in a flood plain and you could be moved to higher ground. Feel free to message us if you have questions. We offer several primitive campsites, allowing you to choose whether to camp solo or with a group. Camping by the Creek 10/10

Martha’s site by the crick’ was perfect for a family get away. While the adults set up camp, the kids played and explored down the river. The biggest winner was our dog who ran around leash free the whole time. Our sir was shaded so it was perfect for a sunny day. We plan to be back.

Site 4

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Martha and her husban are fantastic host. Gave me a tour of the property and I knew this is what I was looking for. I have been searching for nearby weekend getaway places that are secluded, private, on the water, etc... Site 4 was that place. You do hear the road and some trians go by, but the sound of the flowing creek makes it all worth while. I will definitely be back!!

Highly recommended campsite

I absolutely LOVED camping on Martha’s property. It felt like paradise there. Great spot for camping, fishing, privacy. My fiance and I loved it there. Martha and her husband were very friendly and helpful! There’s a couple stores and restaurants nearby that if you don’t feel comfortable “going” in the woods you can drive down to, or get snacks and drinks if you run out! I would love to camp there again in the future!

Creek Site 1

Host & area great, neighbors not.

Martha was great from the jump, very welcoming & open to answer questions or help if you needed it. I had booked site 1 but she offered site 2 to me as they had a cancellation & site 2 has direct water access. The site was gorgeous, one of my dogs was obsessed with the small beach area to the creek. The only downfall is that I booked as a way to give my dogs a break from our neighborhood fireworks, and they ended up being worse here. They started around 9pm & went until almost 2am. My pups didn’t have a good sleep. Also, one of the neighboring guests felt it was appropriate to play in the creek right in front of my spot with their speakers blaring around 8pm. If you’re looking for a quiet spot, I wouldn’t say this is one. If you want just a nice access spot to the water & don’t mind rude neighbors or prefer to be up late, this is a good spot.

Creek Site 1

Martha was wonderful in staying up to get us settled into our spot. The grounds were beautiful and we had a perfect spot to watch the fireworks.
