We had a lovely time car camping at site 1 for a night! The hosts (and their two sweet dogs) were very accommodating and allowed us flexibility in surveying the other open sites. We ultimately stuck with site 1 because it had a good view of the creek from the fire pit and the sounds of the running water were super relaxing to fall asleep to. Had it not started raining mid way through our stay, this site would have been perfect to hang up a hammock. This spot is fairly close to a railroad track but noise was negligible. A hidden gem for sure (:

Creek site 2

Stayed one night at Spot 3. Spot three is probably the best spot bc it’s got the most space, creek access, and is open and level. However all the spots look great but are a bit smaller. Extremely quiet and private. Beautiful creek views, had it been warmer would’ve been great to take a dip. Starts were incredible at night. Path was was easy to follow and is firm soil sand and fairly dry. Host was friendly and their dog was too. Overall extremely impressed with this spot and would love to come back for more nights! Hidden gem that I can’t recommend enough!

Nice spot on the creek, plenty of shade and peaceful. Hosts were hospitable and friendly as can be. We also spent a night at spot 4. Spot 4 has tons of room on the creek bed. There is no shade in spot 4 though, so bring your own shade. It is a pretty cool spot!

We had a blast! It was so peaceful. We were right next to the river. It wasn’t a walk out, but a careful climb down and we were right in it. Martha was very welcoming and knowledgeable. Extra firewood was available for a donation if we ran out. We will definitely be returning!

My family of 5 plus our doggo camped here for 2 nights and let me just say, we absolutely loved it! I'll get the ONE and only con out of the way with this particular site and that's that it is the closest to the road, so street traffic can be heard, when there is any, and the train that runs through can get quite noisy, especially at night. Aside from that, it's a BEAUTIFUL property to camp on. Our first night, we got hit with a very unexpected storm while setting up our site, however, this site sits pretty high above the water level so we didn't run into any issues with flooding. It's right along the creek, with access directly on site, however, it is a bit steep to get in. There is a short walk to access the creek farther downstream though, and we thoroughly enjoyed taking that walk as a family and enjoying the water and finding fossils among all the rocks! The hosts are incredibly friendly, as are their pets, and very accommodating. We have found a new favorite spot and will definitely be back to camp again! 10/10 would recommend!

Second time camping on the property. The hosts are friendly and the property is beautiful. We had no problem getting to the site in our low 2wd hatch. The site was right on the creek perfect for swimming and fishing. We caught some small mouth and enjoyed the sound of the creek at night.

Creek overflow

Site number 4 was mostly rocks. There were not too many great places to set up a tent. We set up our tent and was told we should be fine with the rain. That the creek would not overflow, well it did. At first we moved our tent and car when it started to flood the area we were in, then , in the middle of the night we were on 6+ inches of water and had to pack up and leave, which was not fun in a heavily flowing creek, in the dark, at 4 morning. Had we not moved our car and ourselves, we all might have been swept away also. A pretty scary situation to be in. I should have went with my gut feeling and not set up at all with the rain coming, but was told we would be fine. I’m not sure the owners comprehended the severity of the situation we were in

I love camping on Martha's land. I've camped there three times now and there's just something about it. It's great being on the creek and it's a lot quieter and private than a public campground.

We greatly enjoyed camping at Martha’s land site 3. It had a nice fire pit and easy access to seven Mile Creek, which was nice and shallow in that area for my young boys to play.

4th of July Weekend Getaway

Great time as always at site 4. Basically the whole creek to my self, fireworks off in the distance, creek flowing sound is just amazing and relaxing.

It was very nice, an overall good area. The pre-cut wood was nice to have access to. Car path to the campsite doesn't require 4x4, but a car with low clearance may have problems after a rain. Only issue may be the few trains that run nearby in the middle of the night if you're a light sleeper.

The best local campsite!

Best site ever. Spectacular views. Therapeutic water flowing sounds. Wildlife. Just truly amazing. I have been to this site many times and always find something to do. This is the first time I have brought my new off grid camper to this site and it was amazing. Also brought my cat along and there was plenty of wildlife to keep her fascinated.

This was our 4th time at quiet creek! We stayed at site 4 mainly for the creek side view. Host was amazing as usual and iris is such a sweetheart 🐾. Thanks for the stay ⛺️🏕️

Our stay was beautifully chaotic! We stayed at site number four and loved every moment of our stay! Dave and Martha were helpful in every way we needed! I would recommend staying on sites 1-3 if you don’t want to risk the water rising while staying there. Site four was beautiful but we did have the creek rise up bc of rain further up stream. Mother Nature is funny that way!! Still a beautiful place to camp!

The perfect stream side retreat

Beautiful farm, site 3 is where I ended up staying. It’s wooded and private, right on the creek. Nice fire pit and grate for cooking. Can not wait to stay again!!!! Martha and Dave are amazing hosts!

From the campsite to the host, I would say it was PERFECT!! The view and creek were amazing! Plenty of room at the site. Quick drive from the main road. Trails for walking around. The hosts were so fantastic and so helpful to us!! We are very grateful for them. There is a train that rolls around from time to time which was nice to hear through out the night! Overall had a grand time! Would definitely come back again! Thank you Martha for all that you did for us!

Overall experience was great. Martha communicated well through messages. There is plenty of potable water and firewood if need. The camp site was easy to navigate and well maintained. The site was also flat. My son and I camped on the bed of my Jeep Gladiator and no leveling was required.
