Learn more about this land: Welcome to One Earth Collaborative, a 12-acre land restoration project where nature, community, and creativity come together. Our land is cared for by artists, naturalists, musicians, educators, and land stewards who share a passion for restoring ecosystems and creating meaningful connections with the natural world. The property stretches from the remains of the historic bridge to the Oregonia Road bridge along the Little Miami River. You’ll find open fields, an organic garden, seasonal sunflowers, and a beautiful riverside forest filled with towering sycamores, cottonwoods, and other native trees. All campsites are primitive and designed to immerse you in nature. Trails begin near the firewood area and lead to tent sites tucked throughout the forest and along the river. Our central fire pit serves as a shared gathering space for campfires, music, conversation, and community. A staircase provides access to the river for all guests to enjoy. To help everyone have a peaceful experience, please set up your tent within a reasonable distance of the main fire pit while still allowing neighboring campers privacy. We ask that all guests respect the land, fellow campers, and the quiet beauty of this shared space. Whether you’re here to unplug, paddle the river, explore the woods, listen to birdsong, or simply relax beneath the trees, we hope you’ll feel at home here.

Welcome to One Earth Collaborative! This campsite is one of several primitive camping areas along our 12-acre land restoration sanctuary on the Little Miami River. Sites are first come, first served within the riverside camping area, so you’re welcome to choose the spot that feels right for you. When you arrive, park near the firewood area and enter the trail. If you head right, you’ll come to our Main Camp, a shared gathering space with the community fire pit. We keep this area open for all guests and occasionally host acoustic music, workshops, retreats, and community gatherings. To reach the more secluded campsites, continue past Main Camp and follow the riverside trail to the left. Along the trail you’ll find several private camping areas tucked beneath the trees and overlooking the river. Please choose any available spot that gives you and other campers plenty of space and privacy. We intentionally keep the number of campers low, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. During your stay, you’re welcome to enjoy the shared fire pit, trails, and river access. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. If you’re interested in making your visit even more memorable, we’d be happy to help arrange additional experiences, including: * Private guided nature walks featuring medicinal plants, foraging, and the ecology of the sanctuary. * Wellness offerings such as yoga, meditation, massage, or sound experiences. * Acoustic music or private gatherings by request. * Farm-to-table or chef-prepared meals when available. * Kayak and canoe trips through our neighbors at Yak Shack, offering beautiful paddles on the Little Miami River. We also have a nearby Airbnb available for guests seeking additional comforts. The River House includes private access to the sanctuary and is a wonderful option for couples, families, or anyone looking for a peaceful nature retreat. Forest Grove – Group Campsite Tucked just inside the woods, Forest Grove is a spacious primitive campsite that’s perfect for families, friends, and small groups looking for a little extra room to spread out. The site comfortably accommodates multiple tents while still offering a peaceful, private setting beneath the trees. The base rate includes up to 4 guests, with additional guests welcome for $10 per person, per night. It’s an ideal spot for gathering around a campfire, enjoying nature, and spending time together. A short trail from the campsite leads to one of our favorite features of the property—a beautiful riverside beach that’s perfect for swimming, relaxing, or simply enjoying the peaceful flow of the Little Miami River. All guests have access to our shared Main Camp, including the community fire pit, trails, and river access. We occasionally host acoustic music, workshops, retreats, and community gatherings there, and all campers are welcome to enjoy the space. Riverside Landing – Premium Waterfront Site Our most private and accessible campsite, Riverside Landing offers a peaceful waterfront setting where you can drive directly to your campsite and enjoy the beauty of the Little Miami River. Nestled at the bottom of the hill near our shared Main Camp, this spacious site feels tucked away while still providing convenient access to the community fire pit, trails, and river access. With plenty of room to spread out, it’s an ideal spot for couples, families, or small groups looking for a quiet nature retreat. You’re welcome to pitch your own tent, or for an even more comfortable stay, ask about reserving our vintage camper/van (available as a separate listing when available). Each additional guest after 4 people is just $10. This site can host up to 8 people. Your stay can be as simple or as immersive as you’d like. Right on the river, beautiful surroundings, just across the river from a bike trail and the Yak Shack, where you can rent kayaks, bikes, etc. There’s a garden with beautiful zinnias and herbs, a variety of spots to sit by the river or wade. Fantastic vibes, really cool people with a great vision brought to life.

This place was gorgeous. We were the only ones there and it was magical! Everything there is well maintained without getting in the way of the nature. We arrived during a storm and just barely couldn't make it down the driveway, but we have a super heavy vehicle so that was on us. Absolutely love this place and hope to come back at a time where we don't have to be in and out 💖

Forest Grove-group campsite
Absolutely beautiful. I was a little intimidated because it was VERY natural and woodsy, but it was amazing once we settled in. It was private and right on the water. There are steps down to access the water and we were able to get a canoe down and back up. There is also a small sandy beachy area further down between the sites that was fun with the kids. It was absolutely whimsical and perfect for what we wanted. Would definitely return again!

I booked this for my son and granddaughter thinking they needed a quick getaway. This is about 3 miles from my granddaughter‘s house and eight or so miles from our house. The owner was very friendly and accommodating, the site itself is secluded and offers shaded and sunny sites. Pet friendly if your pet is friendly. Apparently, the ween my son chose to invite was a nightmare, not sure why he picked the least chill of my three… River access on-site with floating devices available. Will be booking again when I can come join the fun!

It was a wonderful place to camp for us. We were right along the Little Miami River which provided great scenery and comforting water sounds. There were trails on the property and kayaking close by so there was enough to do. However, we just enjoyed the peace and quiet. Lindsey did a great job running the property. We look forward to returning.

Very nice to sleep right by the river. Not a far walk at all. Definitely a walk in tent or hammock situation for the river side spot though! You couldn't pull a vehicle closer than around 100 meters.

The only negative was the insane mosquitoes. The land was beautiful, incredibly peaceful. I had the whole place to myself. The porto-john was the cleanest I've ever seen. Lindsey was very sweet. And the guys at the kayak shack were super nice and helpful as well. 100% recommend.

Forest Grove-group campsite
We stayed at main camp, a large site on a small elevated patch next to the river. The river section has some rapids and the current was up due to a lake release during our stay, but that is to be expected in the springtime. The little Miami is a fantastic clean river, there are some eddies in the area good for fishing if that’s your thing. The campsite felt very private, we had a few locals stop by during their hikes, very friendly and offered some insight into the surrounding area. Surprisingly few mosquitos or ticks from what we saw, which means a really healthy population of insect predators. We were impressed and would certainly return!

Better cut out paths to hang hammocks. Toilet paper in the out house would have been super handy. Also directions are not the best. Communicate could have been a lot better as well.

This was a great camping experience that I was craving! I stayed at the campsite right against the river. Very rustic and isolated. I appreciated the firewood that was provided by donation and the sound of the water was very calming! Would definitely stay here again 😊 I met a few folks that were staying at the air-bnb while I was at the campground and they were wonderful people. I can tell this host takes great care of their land and brings in kind and wonderful guests!

Lindsey was super communicative and gave us some great suggestions for a night out in the nearby community. The land was beautiful right on the river and we had a ton of freedom to set up camp where we wanted. East access, very clean, and great vibes. Will definitely come again when it gets warmer so we can enjoy the river! Thanks for the great stay.

This was the perfect place to host a weekend retreat focused on reconnecting to the earth! We all had so much fun playing in the river and spending time together around the giant fire pit in the community kitchen area. I highly recommend this place to anyone staying in this area of Ohio.

We really enjoyed our stay here! We had 3 kids in our group & they had a blast playing in the river - I strongly suggest bringing water shoes & floaties. Our campsite was relatively flat & having a port-o-potty on site was very nice! I would absolutely book here again.

We enjoyed our stay at One Earth Collaborative!! We picked the perfect site right on the river so after getting all sweaty we gotta hop in the water to cool off!! There is also a bar and grill right across the water where we enjoyed a few drinks and dinner with live music!!! Great little get away and very private. 💚

We booked our spot last minute to try to see the aurora. Lindsey’s directions were perfect, we found the site easily, around 6 pm. We wandered back the trail to find a site by the river and set up. We made good use of the communal kitchen and fire pit—it’s a great space! There are lots of solar lights along the trails that make it easy to find your way around, even at night. We met Lindsey and some of the collective—all very friendly and welcoming. Other campers were nice too. The Little River bar across the river provided entertainment for us until about 11 pm. Sadly, we didn’t see the aurora. But we had a good evening with friends on a pretty, wooded site. It's definitely a primitive site, but that didn’t bother us any. My parents were hippies, this place reminded me so much of the ‘get back to the garden’ living of my childhood, in all the best ways. Definitely recommend!

Mixed feelings because I was unable to stay the night. Garage door keypad would not work for dog sitter so I had to quickly pedal home to take care of my dog. Will get back soon to enjoy a full night.
