If you’re looking for a relaxing and unique Hipcamp experience this is the place. The cabin is so cozy. The front porch is a perfect location to relax and read a book. They offer 30 and 50 amp hookups. The grounds were meticulously maintained. I will most certainly book again!

We had a great time camping here! Very nice, very private but not too far from town. You can hear the train every now and then but not enough to bother us. We loved swimming and fishing the creek, and we would definitely stay here again!

Weekend Trip to Lazy Acres

Jeremy and Tonya have created a neat place to camp for one night or more. We had signed up for one campsite, but once we arrived, Jeremy helped us pick a site that was better for my car towing a little trailer. The place has a clean outhouse, fun signs around, and my friend Tulio and I were the first ones to try out his new portable shower which we much appreciated after a long day on the road. Jeremy, his brother and a daughter brought a picnic table closer to our site and he offered to set up a fire pit for us if we wanted one. We enjoyed picking some fresh mulberries from a tree right near our tent and gathered some fresh blackberries on a trail at the back end of the camp. In the morning, he brought me a cup of coffee so we sat and had a nice long chat comparing some diverse experiences in life and sharing ideas about ways to add some nice touches to his camp and improve attendance while maintaining its intimate feeling and character. He genuinely enjoys meeting people from other parts of the country and the world who respect the serene quality of his camp.

We so enjoyed our stay on the river at site 4 on Martha’s land with our 8 year old and 2 dogs. The site is so perfectly secluded. Dave made sure we had plenty of firewood and even provided an inner tube for us to enjoy on the river. We will definitely be back.

I loved spending a weekend tent camping at this little piece of heaven only an hour from downtown Cincinnati! There was so much green and wildflowers along the campsites, along with the night sky being so clear due to being away from most light pollution. My dog was happy to be off leash and by the water! Martha took time to show me around when I arrived, along with her husband checking in towards the end of the day. I felt very safe and welcomed! I look forward to another trip soon ☀️ Very helpful and responsive hosts!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Clean, Cozy, and So Much Fun! This campsite exceeded all our expectations! The first thing we noticed was how clean and well-maintained everything was—especially the toilet, which was surprisingly neat for a campground. It made the whole stay so much more comfortable. The hammock setup under the trees was the perfect touch—we spent hours just relaxing, reading, and soaking in the peaceful vibes. And the trampoline? Total win! The kids (and even some of us adults 😄) had an absolute blast bouncing around. It added such a fun, unexpected element to our trip. Between the quiet surroundings, the thoughtful amenities, and that dreamy hammock nap, this place really felt like a hidden gem. Definitely coming back!

We had a great weekend camping with our dogs. We didn't get to explore much of the farm (one of our dogs is very reactive) but from what we did see it was beautiful! Very hot weekend but the shady site and creek kept us cool. We loved the seclusion and having the out house was a big bonus! We plan to come back in the fall for cooler temps and the fall foliage

This was one of our favorite camping experiences ever! This Hipcamp was a fantastic getaway! We loved the privacy, the relaxing river, and cleanliness of the site. Seeing a snake, herons, and frogs made it feel like a real nature escape. The owner's attention to removing invasive species and planting native plants really made a difference. They were also super attentive to our needs and even jumped our truck when the battery died. We can't wait to come back!

The view is beautiful and really great places to eat within biking/walking distance. Especially recommend Pig Candy at the entry to Eldorado St. The site has a “cabin” with a working toilet but the shower has no hot water. Polly was accessible with any concerns and we absolutely enjoyed our stay.

Our stay was great! We were happy to have an RV as there was an intense thunderstorm the evening we arrived. After the storm passed we were enchanted by the abundance of fireflies! The location was so quiet and remote. Beautiful starry night skies! The campsite was so big and neat!

We reside within the Village of Morrow, walking distance to restaurants and stores. The little Miami Bike Trail is approximately 1/4 mile from our entrance. This property is tucked away and you wouldn’t even know you’re close to town once you’re on site. Valley Vineyards is right down the road to enjoy a bottle of wine and cook your own steak dinner nights. Take a trip to visit Fort Ancient with a day hike. A Native American earthworks complex, the largest hilltop enclosure in the world and soon to be a World Heritage site! Enjoy some canoeing on the Little Miami River a State and National scenic river which is within walking distance. We have kayaks on location for the kids to play in the creek and creeks to hike with numerous fossils deposits. Southwestern Ohio is famous for its Ordovician fossil deposits. Kings Island is approximately 20 minute drive and the Ohio renaissance Festival is near. Caesars creek state park in Cowan lake state park is within a short drive. Smallmouth Bass fishing is awesome on Todd’s Fork and we have plenty of area to Wade fish.

Brookville Lake is about 5 minutes away. We have 25 acres with about 3 wooded acres with over 100 sugar maple trees and about 20 acres of flat grass fields plenty of room to hike, just keep in mind we have one horse that is fenced in so please close gates back when you open them. We mow trails for hiking feel free to explore, if you run into a cornfield it's not our property. Att has excellent service at 94mbps download and 11mbps upload, Verizon is good at 36mbps Download and 5mbps upload. We have an outhouse for tent campers And water is available by campsite 1 and we have portable idc tote with city water. We also have 3 indoor/outdoor cats, they like to visit the campground. Direction: Please use SR 44 to country road 450 and go north and take a right at 4 way stop on to Springersville Road and we are about a quarter mile down the road on the left. Our beautiful 1800’s cabin was moved to the property in the 1970’s by a former neighbor who owned the property at the time. The same neighbor also had a historic train depot moved to the property where she sold antiques out of for several years. It is not sure what the cabin was used for at that time but it certainly added charm to the antique store property. When we acquired the property years later, the cabin was in need of work. It sat for a few years until we decided to restore this lovely cabin back to it’s beautiful charm and character. Jim spent a couple years on the project working in his free time and added the porch using old wood in keeping with the natural look and feel of the cabin as well as some interior areas. Upon completion, we opened the cabin as a gift shop selling unique items including antiques, primitives and decor for a few years. We decided to transition the cabin into a place of retreat for traveling guests and still keep some of the goods we sold in the shop available for purchase. We hope that you find the cabin and property a place of peace and tranquility and will want to return. Whether passing through for a night or a few days stay, you’re always welcome in our neck of the woods. Learn more about this land: Make a stop back in time to our quiet woodland retreat with an updated 1800’s log cabin nestled on the property. At Cabin and Company, you will be parked beside this beautiful cabin and will be allowed access at your leisure for a place to sit and relax. We will have a few items available for purchase inside the cabin including local honey (when available) apple butter, coffee, hand crafted walking sticks and you won’t want to leave without some of these goodies. This semi secluded property is a gem and we hope you will enjoy this piece of history as much as we do. You may see wildlife such as whitetail deer and of course, there are plenty of birds and squirrels around. You won’t be disappointed in this cozy Midwest retreat and will want to make this one of your places while passing through our beautiful Ohio. Most of all, relax and enjoy.

Rocky Run Creek is a tributary to Seven Mile Creek in Preble County, OH Small creek near residential area. Choice of wide open spaces, partial or full shade spots available. Short walking trail along the creek line is maintained. 'Rocky Cross' Geocach nearby. Please be aware that if we have had a lot of rain, the creek side spots may be too wet and difficult to get back up the hill with the wet grass. If this is the case, we do have the gravel barn driveway that can accommodate your stay. During peak busy season, the barn drive may have additional guests due to site, weather or general camping conditions. The barn drive offers a view of the creek area about 100 feet away and is about 175 feet from the patio common area. WiFi covering the entire camp and all cellular carriers work great here. 30 Amp electrical in many spots. White tank water fill is available in select locations. Plenty of room for tow vehicle at your camp site. Pet policy: Dogs / pets are certainly welcome subject to the following: No destructive behaviors. (Digging, chewing, etc) No aggressive behaviors. (Toward anyone at any time) Please consider that other guests may be present. As of 5/1/24, a new overflow RV spot has been added with 30A electrical. As of 5/1/24, Premium WiFi is now available for additional $5 / day with fast WiFi speeds for working remotely. If it is too wet to access the creek side spots, we can still accommodate your stay in the nearby barn driveway but if you are unable to back up with the 'toad' then a detach will be required. Again, this is only if it is too wet to access the creek side camp spots. Generally we will be able to help you back in, but at times we may be away and suggest a helper in guiding you into the barn drive. Note, the barn driveway is not a pull through site.

Two state recreation areas converge at this lake. More than 5,260 acres of water and 11,000 acres total provide plenty to do. Walk along 25 miles of hiking trails or use nine launch ramps for your boat.

Fish for your latest trophy catch as this nationally recognized angler's paradise. Large walleye are plentiful as Indiana biologists use large females for eggs in hatcheries. Look for bluegill, bass, crappie, and trout, as well.

Hike along easy to moderate trails to explore thick forests and the history of the area. Glidewell Trail, a moderate 4.5-mile hike, takes you past a 2,000-year-old Native American mound.

Keep an eye out for Ordovician fossils throughout the recreation area. You might see a fossil that's 450 million years old. They are from when this part of Indiana was an inland sea.

Brookville Lake Campground

We had a great one night stay at site 7! Very close to the lake, about a 10 minute drive to Quakertown Boat Ramp. The site was super clean, peaceful, and well kept. Our host Robert was extremely responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again!
