Pet fee of $5 per dog (max 2 dogs), along with wood, snacks, and bottles of water for sale. If you can let me know of the pet situation prior I would appreciate it. This is meant to be a quiet relaxing getaway and is what I offer. April through October the foliage is beautiful, November through March the leaves may be more on the ground than in the trees; allowing an openness that hinders the purpose of seclusion. Plus, it tends to be chilly mornings at that time but to some this part is perfect. We look forward to your stay.

Loved this spot… although we made a mistake and had planned for an electric hookup for heat. We stayed one night anyway and loved having even a short time on this property. The farm was really an incredible property. We brewed coffee on the provided propane stove and enjoyed a quiet morning on the swing by the creek while enjoying our hot coffee. It felt like a happy accident that we accidentally stumbled on a site that we’ll return to with our solar panels for a boondocking trip in the future. And If you are a tent camper, this spot is one of the best we’ve seen, hands down. Book now!

Definitely recommend booking this campsite! It was a lovely property, including highland cows (a baby was born just a few weeks ago!), the farmhouse, and the campsite itself. There is a great fire pit, picnic table, outhouse, and porch swing - what more could you need! The stream next to the campsite was so peaceful to sleep to. The owners were very kind and even surprised us with some cookies when we checked in. Cannot wait to book again!

Chris set up was perfect. Ideal for those not wanting to stray to far from the interstate but also not want to stay in the city. I had a late arrival and they were very accommodating and was quick to respond to messages to help me locate the driveway due to the darkness. Would highly recommend, sad I has to head out early to beat out storms. But would definitely stay again.

Our tent camping getaway was a dream!! Plenty of space to enjoy board games or cards at the picnic table, cook on the provided propane stove top, or chat around the stone lined fire pit! This place was decked out with so many bells and whistles! The entire property is beautifully maintained and the host was an interesting and witty man. The outhouse was uber clean and had a water source (bath and body works pump soap! Bonus!) with a sink for washing and rinsing! The camp site location was nestled in a cozy cocoon alongside a stream and surrounded by trees, but just a quick walk to hike trails, visit chickens (yes, you can buy fresh eggs!) peacocks, bulls and a couple pot bellied pigs! We were given homemade cookies and pup treats in adorable packaging upon arrival and I’m here to say….we are already planning our next trip!! See you in the Spring, Vaughn! Could go on and on!! Just splendid!

Grins & Pickin's CampFarm was created to share the outdoors with others. Growing food & flowers, camping & hiking is what we like to do. And we like sharing these activities. Our family oriented outdoor recreation facility offers primitive camping, $PYO$ produce during the growing season, homesteading activities & nature-based programs. The peaceful 20-acre country farm has food gardens, a frog habitat pool, a barnyard for the chickens & ducks, a bluegill fishin' pond, a pollinator maze, a prairie garden, and an outdoor stage. After crossing a winding creek into 10 acres of woods, you may see deer, turkey, fox, coyote, mink, eagles & barred owls. In early spring, the peepers are peeping, wildflowers are abundant & the vernal pools welcome the wood frogs, salamanders and fairy shrimp. Summer brings on the bullfrogs, butterflies, dragonflies and fireflies. Fall is a great time to pull grapevine to make wreaths & to build stick forts in the woods. We cater to the tent camper so that we can hear frogs & owls instead of generators. But, there is an RV section up front for those with quiet generators with several feet of gravel under the grass to hold the weight of your camper. We charge by the carload & there are different rates for driving back toward the woods for camping depending on the number of wheels & the weight of your vehicle (a factor on the wear & tear on the land). We believe in going outside to play, growing & eating fresh food, strengthening family bonds and promoting the awareness of our natural resources. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: 1) The speed limit is 5 mph as soon as you enter the property (kids & dogs are quick to dart in front of you). 2) As a state registered campground, it is mandatory that you check in at the house to fill out a Registration Form before heading to your campsite. 3) No glass allowed anywhere on the property (we don't want our feet or paws cut open and can do without flat tires). 4) Children under 18 must be attended to at all times for their safety (the frog pool is 10' deep, the pond is 8-10' deep depending on rains, and the creek can turn into a churning river). Paved parking areas on each side of the barn with available water and electricity hook up on each side of the barn. Wooded lot with 1 mile walking trail on property for guests and pets. NOTE: Maximum stay on north and south BARN SITES is 3 consecutive nights. UNLESS we discuss the situation prior to the dates. For the TITUS RD DISPERSED SITE, I have a 30 day limit (longer is possible if OK'd before stay) Note, we have a rear patio porch and deck on the back of the house that we use and is in sight. 6 dogs between daughter next door (South side of barn) and us but both have fenced in yards that we try to keep the dogs in when campers are present. Dogs are harmless but do bark when they do not know you... City of Springfield is less than three miles away. A Sheets and Loves Truckstop are 300 yards away with the Loves having a dump station. Next door to this property is a BP Station and Carryout. The Loves Truckstop has a Wendys, Subway, and dog park. Sheets also has a food court. All within walking distance. Great location as Columbus is 30 min to the east, Dayton is 25 min to the west. 13 min to I 675 and 20 min to Interstate 75 N/S. I 71 N/S Columbus is 35 min away in downtown Columbus... NOTE: Little over a quarter of a mile off of Interstate 70, and on a State Route, If looking for absolute silence and desolation, this is not for you. Back off of the road but all the sounds carry.....

This is a primitive site with no amenities, just a lovely meadow. We make an effort to keep it mowed but there are times in the year the grass gets out of hand, please be aware. Ticks and chiggers can be present depending on the season, so be advised. The campsite is in an open meadow on our 5 acre property, next to the ruins of what was one of the oldest barns in the county (there are still some beautiful stone walls left). You will be surrounded by trees and the spot is completely private. Directly across the road from our property (a 5 minute walk) is the Little Miami Scenic Trail, the third longest paved trail in the US (amazing for biking). The unique village of Yellow Springs is only a 5 minute drive away with a great local grocery store and several cafes. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE BOOKING. Notes: 1) (no RVs or trailers) cars need to park at the entrance of the meadow where there is gravel. Campers got stuck in the meadow due to rain/mud (which is why we do not allow RVs or trailers). 2) If you need to go number 2 please dig a cat hole at least 6" deep. There is an open public toilet in Yellow Springs and several businesses with open bathrooms. 3) The campsite is right off of Route 68. You cannot see cars from the site but you can hear them. The amount of noise from cars is lower at night. 4) The meadow is ideal for tent camping, though it is NOT a built campsite so it is on a somewhat steep slant at spots.

Artemis Gardens BnB is more than just a place to sleep (in cozy, enchanting bedrooms) and eat (delicious food the host makes for you). It’s an eclectic oasis nestled within nature, infused with art, and just a few miles from Dayton - very convenient if you’re attending an event or visiting someone in Ohio! I live on the property in a separate cabin, with three indoor cats - Artemis, Luna, and Nemo. They can hang with you or I can keep them away depending on your preference. When I book individual rooms, I fix breakfast for my guests. When the entire cabin is booked, I can still provide breakfast or you can have the place all to yourself. You’ll always have my contact info and I won’t be too far away. Nature is strong here. The cabin is rustic, some of the native plants can be prickly, and pollinators are everywhere - including the honeybees with stingers (who live in three different natural hives on the property). In other words, stay aware of your surroundings. • Stroll among the flowers, fresh air, and sounds of nature. • Enjoy homemade breakfast noms in the sunroom. • Check out a book from the home library. • Get the band back together in the music lounge. • Dip into the art supplies if inspiration strikes. • Close the curtains and nap anytime in your own private bedroom made for a goddess. • Gather your friends, book all three of the rooms, and reconnect for a weekend. • Meet new friends by mingling with fellow guests in the safe, inclusive shared spaces. • It’s only five miles back to the BnB if you’re going to a show at Rose Music Center. • Take a five minute drive to see Charleston Falls and hike. • Need a picnic packed or candlelight dessert setup? You got it. • Build a fire outside. • Craft culinary creations in the stocked and equipped kitchen. • Finish the novel you started writing. • Finish the tv show you started watching. • Enjoy the view of the stars from the back deck or while perched in the Lyra hoop in the sunroom.

GloryField Hospitality Farm is a 148 acre active farm and vacation destination. Enjoy your stay and the picturesque view of fields, cow pastures, and wetland pond. Spend your day fishing at the catch & release pond, hiking the 2 miles of mowed trails, you are 3 miles from the Ohio Erie Prairie Bike Trail head. Ask about helping with some of the farm chores. In the evening roast s'mores on a campfire, catch fireflies, or stargaze away from artificial light. The farm is shared space with a variety of short term rental sites; however each site has over 100ft away from each other. The owner Kim also lives on the property in the barn with her 2 golden doodles Scooby & Trixie. GloryField is an active farm so there are also people, vehicles, and farm equipment that have access to the property. They are the only people allowed to drive beyond the driveway. The nearest town of S. Charleston is 3 miles down the road and has a good grocery store, gas station, & dollar stores. Restaurants include Pizza/sub/salads, Chinese, Coffee shop, bakery, & Ice cream (unfortunately no delivery). Other popular destinations are... Cedarville University - 10 Minutes, Yellow Springs & Youngs Jersey Dairy - 20 Minutes. Larger cities of Springfield, Xenia, & London - 30 minutes. Learn more about this land: This is a forested area including trails and a wooded wetland. Campfire sight is provided as well as a port a john toilet. It is a rustic site with a small cabin and areas to pitch tents. The area where the cabin sits is all pines. Secluded area yet close to town. Easy access from State Route 33. Walk in or drive in depending on your vehicle you drive. The cabin consist of a fold out bed, table and heater. Propane is provided as is a rustic portable ice chest inside the cabin. For those that desire to shoot small handguns we do have a pistol range on the property. In addition we have a small wooded dock area beside the wetlands to relax and enjoy. Our site was rated as Tree Farmer of the year (2021). Lots of wildlife and again very private oasis in the midst of a growing rural community. In addition GreyOaks has tent camping spots as well!

This 5 acre property is loaded with activities! The stocked pond (catch and release) is a great place to teach your kids how to fish. You don't have to be an experienced fisherman to catch a fish in this pond! Swimming, kayaking, paddle boat, cornhole, small beach area for the little ones, and 2 acres of wooded trails for those who enjoy a peaceful walk. Wildlife is abundant and they prefer to be left alone. Please stay on the trails to preserve all vegetation. If you see a fawn or other babies, please do not touch these animals. Momma will be back! If you see one in distress, please contact the host. The community area at the gazebo offers a charcoal grill (charcoal available for purchase), seating, electric outlets, and water. Please be considerate to other guest while using this area. Trash receptacles are available at different areas on the property. Fresh eggs and produce will be available when in season. Please ask if you are interested. Campsites are located in the woods and are primitive. Sites include picnic table, fire pit, and trash can.
