Located on 66 acres of rolling farmland and wooded country side. Near Yellow Springs, Cedarville College, John Bryan State Park, Clifton Gorge, and centrally located near Dayton, Springfield, and Columbus. Enjoy your morning coffee along with a beautiful view of Ohio farmland and the sounds of nature. This is a working farm. We grow forage crops (alfalfa, clover, grass), manage a cow-calf herd of 42 Criollo (Corriente), and selectively harvest timber. We are one of the few 100% grass fed/ grass-finished ranches that practices regenerative agriculture. Guests may explore the farm, bird watch, enjoy catch-and-release fishing in a private one-acre pond, or sit by the fire. The Ohio to Erie Trail is 1/4” mile from the ranch. You can purchase bison, beef (when in stock), and firewood at the ranch. We look forward to hosting you. P.S. We also operate “Green Plains Cabin”. Green Plains Cabin is a well appointed, restored log cabin.  Contact us about bundling the cabin with the RV site for a larger family gathering. Dimensions of the entrance from the County highway are included in the photo sections. Please refer to the photos before booking larger Class A Motor Homes.

On-property hookup. There is a spigot by the barns with hoses to refill your water tanks

There is a dump station at John Bryan State Park near Yellow Springs. In the event you use a portable potty or a "camp loo", we respectfully request that you take the waste bags home with you. We may add a composting station at a future date.

Quiet Paradise for Tired Cyclists

we are cycling across the usa and arrived at Glen’s beautiful property - the pond, the happy criollo cattle, the easy access to electrical and water hookups for our support RV. communication was clear, we were aware of the no toilet situation (apparently others aren’t aware of “no dump” here, understood as it is a pristine farm!). the quiet was much appreciated after a few campsites near train tracks and freeways. additionally the farm stand just up the road provided fresh eggs and after a text exchange, melissa baked us two loaves of banana bread and a sourdough loaf that we picked up in the morning. definitely, day 13 became a highlight of our 64 day adventure. thank you Glen (and baker down the road, Melissa!)

Beautiful and absolutely relaxing! We needed a weekend getaway from the city and from life, Glen's place was perfect. From watching "cow TV" in the morning and the fish flop around in the pond this spot was exactly what we needed. Hoping to return! Thank you for the hospitality Glen!

Our Favorite Place to Camp!

We love to stay at the ranch and visit with Glen, sarah and the cattle. We have been tree times and plan to make this our regular go to for camping. The view is spectacular, the property is emaculate, the owners are a delight and the peacefulness us abundant. We love the extra perk to buy the delicious organic grass-fed beef raised there. Then there is the nearby town of yellow springs with its quaint town with an artsy and trendy vibe, and adventurous and beautifal hiking trails. You must visit. You will be hooked!

Top notch Hipcamp experience. All of the arrival instructions were extremely well documented, touched base with the host, and they were absolutely fantastic and accommodating. The space is beautiful, and serene. This was our first time here, but I’m sure that all four seasons have something really special to offer. We would absolutely recommend this to anyone. Plenty of space to stretch out.

We brought our 25ft travel trailer, easy parking, nice to have electric and we were able to fill water. Beautiful and peaceful farm to stay for a couple of nights getaway. Glen was so nice and we were thankful for our time here and will hopefully be back!

Great place if you're looking for a spot to hang out near Cedarville Ohio for a couple days. Camp and learn a little about the farm from Glen. Pond essentially right outside the camper, quiet and peaceful.

Glen is an exceptional host. He greats us when we arrive and sends us of with a pleasant fairwell including the opportunity to buy is delicious meats. It is obvious he takes exceptional care of his property and we love the peace, quiet and beauty of his Ranch. We have been twice and will definitely return. I highly recommend you visit.

This was a beautiful property with a peaceful pond. We enjoyed the campsite and fishing. The host was a great help with our tire problem and also firewood and filling up on water. It would have been nice to see bison but they were not present. Great place to stay!

We stayed at the bison ranch three nights and loved it and would be glad to return again. When we arrived, Glen was there to greet us and reviewed the property and amenities with us. The RV site is perfectly placed where you can view the pond and surrounding farmland. The property is well maintained, including the Meadows for the steers and the buildings. Glen was available if needed if we had any questions and very accommodating. My wife and I highly recommend the site!

We had an awesome time at Green Plains Bison Ranch! Beautiful setting and just 15 min from Yellow Springs. It's quiet, peaceful, and a perfect place to bring your dogs and relax with the best view. We will definitely be back. You can fill your water tank and they have electric too.

Gorgeous, peaceful property with easy access to Yellow Springs for hiking and biking adventures. The property is close to the Ohio Erie bike trail which can also connect to the Little Miami trail. Stunning. And you can't beat the buffalo burgers for the perfect campfire dinner!

This place was great. Quiet. Pond for fishing. A herd of Corriente cattle graze close by on the property. The Bison were not available when we went. The road the farm is on is not busy so it is safe to go for a morning jog. Glen was welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. We enjoyed talking to him. There is a town nearby called Yellow Springs. This is our third time staying here - twice at the cabin on the property and now once in the RV site. Green Plains has become our go-to stop when driving through Ohio. Such a beautiful property. Yellow Springs is such a cool town nearby. Highly recommend!

Glen’s property was beautiful! He has roaming bison and cattle just a field away from the RV site. Glen helped us with an initial electric hookup issue and we were thankful to then have a cooled RV on a hot August afternoon. At dusk we sat out and watched a Mama deer and her two fawn drink and play next to the nearby pond as we ate delicious bison burgers for dinner. Highly recommend Glen for your next HipCamp outing!

Great experience, beautiful scenery, and privacy, couldn't have asked for a better spot to spend my birthday. Best bison I've ever had, the burgers, brats, and hot dogs were all great, buy them all, can't wait for steaks to be back in stock. Host, Glen, was a super cool down to earth dude, I'd probably go back just to talk cars and farm life with the guys for a few hours.

Glen's land was a treasure trove of peaceful serenity, great views, and easily accessible amenities. We loved our stay and watching the bison roam the gorgeous hills was quite the treat. Highly recommend the add ons of bison burgers (grass fed and grass finished) and firewood. Both were top-notch and enhanced our stay. Glen stopped by for a short and sweet visit which was an added bonus. Absolutely recommend a stay here if you're passing through the area or need somewhere to stay for a nearby day trip to Columbus, Dublin, or Springfield.

This was our first hipcamp experience and it did NOT disappoint!! The property is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Glen was a great host. We pre-ordered the bison burgers and they were fantastic! We will definitely be coming back.
