We tent camped on this beautiful creekside, viking-themed respite and were quite comfortable even within rain and heat. There are plenty of trees for shade and dipping our feet in the creek to cool off was a delight. David, our host, was warm, welcoming, gracious and friendly. We stayed there while visiting Serpent Mound which is very close-by. We cannot wait to return. We truly felt so refreshed. There's something magical about hearing that creek at night.

What a beautiful farm to camp at! My 8 year old daughter and I had such a lovely time in the A Frame exploring the wildlife trails, hanging out with the koi fish, the chickens and Aimee! Everything is so well thought out and obviously a lot of care has gone into this property, it’s absolutely magical, we can’t wait to return!

Beautiful views. Glamping tents are neat but very hot in the summer. Our tent was in full sun all day and evening. The one fan didn’t help at all. It cooled off a bit once the sun went down. Plenty of games for the kiddos. Showers were nice and clean but quite a walk from the canvas tents. The showers need a shelf for soap and such. Hosts were great.

Me and my boyfriend had a blast at fruitdale farm...the peace and quiet and listening to the wildlife was amazing...not to mention watching the stars and just relaxing. Thank you Amiee for the stay

We absolutely loved camping here! Fern rock is absolutely gorgeous and the perfect view for camping. The creek was also super gorgeous with a small cascading waterfall. We had a lovely fire and hammocked in the trees. There were so many fireflies from about 8-11pm that were the highlight of our stay. The way they lit up the rock was incredible. The winery was closed while we visited but there were a few others close by we were able to go to! Jim was an amazing host and was very responsive over texts. He has an absolutely gorgeous property and I highly recommend staying here if you visit hocking hills!

Our accommodations range from primitive tent-camping to "glamping" in one of our tiny off-grid cabins. The sites are spaced out for privacy and each site offers a private picnic table and fire pit. There are two shared privies/outhouses which have basic composting toilets (not flushing). A grassy parking area is provided near the road, however, ALL SITES ARE WALK-IN (with the exception of site #1). ***Please take note that this is private property and the host lives on site. (easy access from 33 and to Logan) There are various places around the property to pitch a tent. There are also options for RV parking with no hookups as well as a site with 30/50 amp. I can transport you and your gear to the remote sites. ATV's are also welcome on the property. Firewood will be provided for free and in abundant amount. The site on top of the hill is a very secluded and mowed crest of hill surrounded by dogwood trees and the invasive Autumn Olive bushes. The site above the rxrwinery.com is a secluded, mowed clearing in the mature woods. There are also 2 sites in the valley that allow you to be near your vehicle. While on my property, clothing is optional but respect for other campers is expected. If you are traveling with an RV, the Sunny Rest location is the best with campfire. This is a valley and may get soft after heavy rain. Please keep wheels near the lane if there's any question to the ground conditions and maneuvering your vehicle, please contact me.
