Not Private, but Great Views

The property was very nice - lots of land and wooded ATV trails to check out. The gravel pad was perfectly level, and the hookups were very convenient. It is also close to Hocking Hills, which is an amazing park to check out. If you are looking for a campground feel, then you would feel right at home here. We, however, were looking for peace. The night we were there, the owners were having a party late into the evening to watch the football game. The owners did tell us about the party, but only after we arrived at the site. Although the site faces the field and woods, it is very close to their own campers. The owners have ATVs, which they were allowing the children to ride through the field, getting very close to our camper, while we were trying to relax and make dinner. This was causing our dogs to bark like crazy. This went on for at least a couple of hours, and it was incredibly frustrating. What was supposed to be a relaxing, de-stressing weekend turned out to be just as stressful as the daily grind that we were trying to escape.

The hosts are great. Beautiful and peaceful setting. Was perfect after a long day of driving, and the deer showed up as if on cue.

Such a great experience! The host was amazing — super friendly and made me feel right at home. The place was spotless, comfortable, and easy to get to. Loved the location and all the little touches that made the stay extra special. Would absolutely stay here again!

It's a beautiful space and Marcy was very friendly. There's a large field for stargazing as well as forest sites. there was a very nice clean fire pit with a grill, and firewood and kindling were provided. There is a clean bathroom with a flush toilet and cold running water, and some thoughtful homey amenities. I came in at night and Marcy put on some lights for me, and then turned them off once I had a fire going. All in all a lovely experience.

I took route 180 almost all the way there with my travel trailer and had no issues. Buena Vista on the way out and is pretty curvy but if you go slow it's fine. The property itself is well maintained and a super neat area to camp. Marcy and Jeff were attentive and helpful!

My friend and I had a wonderful time at the campground. The RV is very nice and clean, quiet and surrounding by nature, have everything you need. Marcy is very nice and kind, responsive and got everything ready for us before our arrival. We couldn’t ask for a better get away to relax, recharge and enjoy the nature. Also, it’s only 20 mins drive to Hocking Hills State Park if you want to check out some of the beautiful hiking trails. We definitely will be back :)

This is perhaps the nicest spot we have found. The property is a perfect spot. Quiet, well taken care of, and so relaxing. Everything you could want is there to enjoy. Our hosts couldn’t have been any nicer or accommodating. the gravel pad is super nice, no tracking in dirt. There is a quiet trail through the woods too. The deer come buy at night to feed. Totally enjoyed this hidden gem and our hosts!

This was the perfect stay for my daughter and I for a nearby wedding. Everything we needed to get ready, and enjoyed a serene fire while we were there. Marcy greeted us upon arrival and showed us everything we needed. My only complaint was we didn’t stay long enough to explore the area, and I would love to come back when I have more time! Beautiful setting!

The space was so clean and quiet! There was a large field for my grandchildren to run around in and firewood all ready for us when we arrived! Marcy and her husband were so kind! The camper had all of the amenities we needed for a nice "glamping" weekend! I highly recommend!

Marcy's campsite was wonderful. Very well maintained. The bathroom was clean and easy to access. They were very friendly but gave us our privacy as well. Thank you Marcy!

The site itself was great! Full Hookup, beautiful views and stars at night, a firepit WITH firewood, and hosts were incredibly friendly. The cons of staying here are the roads to get to the site itself. The host did a great job at communicating the best roads to get to the site which was a HUGE help as if we took one of the other roads it would be dangerous. So the roads are not something the host can improve but something to keep in mind when booking. We are a 27ft c class and made it fine and there was also a 42ft 5th wheel there too so skilled drivers will make it just fine!

After an unpleasant surprise at our original site 20 miles south we felt like we hit the jackpot with this place.
Excellent site with full hookups at a reasonable price.
The hosts were top notch - providing things we didn’t even know we needed. ;0)
The site is remote, with a dark sky and total quiet. It is right beside the host’s residence, but that was not a problem for us. There is also woods tent camping across the field.
Located near Cave House.

Lovely little plot, nice open field on top of a hill, with exceptionally well-kept grass. Some lovely woods to explore, and nice facilities for what it is. We were able to drive right into the field and set up our camp for a lovely night of stargazing. Marcy and Jeff were great hosts - super friendly! They even made sure the camp lights were off so we'd have extra darkness. Marcy gave us a tour of the grounds in their cart when we arrived, and my 7-year-old just wanted to talk and hang out with her for the rest of the night. Great place for the price, for sure.
