Learn more about this land: Harrison Farm is a working livestock farm, with goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits, ducks, a horse, a donkey, and super friendly barn cats. We host many events, including yoga classes, tours, on-Farm dinners, and private parties. We are located thirty minutes from downtown Columbus, just outside of historic Canal Winchester, and only five minutes from BrewDog. The hills of southeastern Ohio are close by, with Lancaster only twenty minutes away, and just an hour’s drive to Hocking Hills or Tar Hollow. We welcome you to relax in solitude, or join us to learn more about farming.

Site 1 - Camping with Unruly Goats

Camping on a farm review

The overall camping experience is a great unique experience. My daughter loved feeding the baby goats. The camp site is right next to the road of the property. We did love the chickens and roosters and all the animals. If you do go camping here please bring food for the barn cats. Many of them are very skinny and very hungry. We had many of them trying to take the food while we were cooking dinner. I brought a couple cans of food and they inhaled the food without even chewing they were so hungry. One of the black cats looks like it may lose his eye and is in need of Terramycin and a vet visit. I would recommend picking up some meds at tractor supply for the kittty. Another cat i believe the cats name is maxwell, he was malnourished and had bloody sores on his back end. He looks like he needs a visit to a vet asap. I can only imagine the financial burden to take care of 30 cats on the farm. I think they may need to increase the daily cat food they put out for the cats. If i were to rate it i would give it 4 out if 5 stars.

Camping experience of a lifetime

HIGHLY encourage you to take a leap of faith and camp with the unruly goats. Not only are there unruly goats, but get ready to be welcomed by 30 cats, 2 beautiful dogs, countless fireflies, and wonder human beings. I know what you’re thinking: farm. But trust me when I say this is the best farm camping experience one could hope for. Katherine was such an amazing host and an incredibly inspiring person doing huge ethical advances in the farming industry. With that, ask about goat yoga and get to meet Kenough- the most beautiful baby goat who is so good at farm. Bring all your friends and family and enjoy the beauty of the farm life.

Great campsite with friendly goats!

Goats, chickens, dogs, and cats galore! Katherine was so nice and welcoming! The property is easy to get to and the campsite was clean and convenient. Would stay here again!

Site 2 - Camping with Unruly Goats

More than Kenough

We LOVED tent camping on site #2 at Katherine’s farm. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the animals, Katherine, or the property! Katherine was hospitable and despite being on her land, we had plenty of privacy and so much space! The porta potty was surprisingly clean and my partner and I both felt so safe and welcomed! There is something very special about waking up to the sounds of nature. Each morning I was greater by an array of sounds, beautiful sunrises, and of course some snuggles from all the animals. Our weekend was filled with cat naps (with cats), cuddles from the hardest working doggos, lamb and goat cuddles, and more. Katherine was always willing to share about the animals and farm (like the sweet baby Kenough) and you can see her immense passion and appreciation for the life around her. I truly cannot wait to come back! It was also conveniently located near Columbus and there were stores and restaurants just a short drive up away. If you are an animal lover or curious about homesteading, living sustainably, etc., I highly recommend coming to see Katherine’s land and soak up all that you can. I was in paradise!
