Visiting the Hocking Hills ? No interest in crowded campgrounds ? you have found 75 acres mostly wooded with trails. Close to and easy access from US 33 There are 4 primitive and secluded campsites around the property for tent camping. I can transport you and your gear to the remote sites. ATV's and Horses are also welcome on the property. Firewood will be provided for free and in abundant amount. The site on top of the hill is a very secluded and mowed crest of hill surrounded by dogwood trees and the invasive Autumn Olive bushes, making this the most desirable site for getting full body sun, and shade when wanted in complete privacy. The site above the rxrwinery.com is a secluded, mowed clearing in the mature woods, making this a preferred site for privacy, shade and easy access to the winery. There are also 2 sites in the valley that allow you to be near your vehicle, one out in the open sun and near the driveway while the other is in the coolest spot on the property with a very nice rock formation to admire and secluded for privacy. While on my property, clothing is optional but respect for other campers is expected. Hiking the trails naked rarely encounters other people. Sunny Rest Skyview can accomodate an RV with no hookup, generator is allowed. This is a valley and may get soft after heavy rain. Please keep wheels near the lane if there's any question to the ground conditions and maneuvering your vehicle, please contact me. Great hiking, kayaking, biking, birding, fishing, swimming, and disc-golfing opportunities just a few miles away at Paint Creek State Park and the Highland Nature Sanctuary. Amish country is also just 15 minutes away with a great bakery, markets and greenhouses. This area is home to an impressive network of ancient earthworks including the world famous Serpent Mound.
Our accommodations range from primitive tent-camping to "glamping" in one of our tiny off-grid cabins. The sites are spaced out for privacy and each site offers a private picnic table and fire pit. There are two shared privies/outhouses which have basic composting toilets (not flushing). A grassy parking area is provided near the road, however, ALL SITES ARE WALK-IN (with the exception of site #1).
***Please take note that this is private property and the host lives on site. If you are looking for a place to be loud and party into the night, this is not the place for you. If you are looking to spend some quality time in nature, welcome. There are rules.

Your Tipi Stay
Spend the night in our spacious 22-foot tipi, thoughtfully placed to immerse you in the sights and sounds of the ranch. Inside, you’ll find a comfortable queen platform bed provided for your convenience. Guests should bring their own sleeping bags, linens, pillows, and blankets.
The tipi comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests—two on the provided queen bed, with ample room for additional cots or air mattresses you bring. Cots are available to rent as an add-on. You’re also welcome to pitch additional tents or hang hammocks in the surrounding trees, allowing space for up to 10 guests total.
The Ranch Experience
Cherokee Valley Bison Ranch is a working ranch, home to plains bison, honeybees, chickens, and peafowl. We are proud to be a Certified Wildlife Habitat, Certified Firefly Habitat and Monarch Waystation.
Explore our scenic hiking trails that wind through rolling hills, wildflowers, and native grasses. Nature lovers will delight in the abundance of birds, butterflies, and wildlife throughout the property. After your hike, cool off in the clear, pristine creek bordering the ranch (water shoes recommended).
As evening settles in, enjoy a wood-fired meal prepared over your private fire pit/grill, then watch the sunset paint the valley in golden light. Fall asleep to the call of hoot owls, and wake to the soft morning glow filtering through the tipi’s beautifully painted translucent cover.

The property is beautiful and secluded for a real camping outdoor experience with nice bathroom and electric as a bonus .. the fishing is great for kids cause they caught more than they could keep up with .. Evan the owner was great guy and made us feel welcome brought the kiddos some popsicles in the heat .. deff recommend 10 out 10

Was a great experience I would 100% recommend staying here for the week or weekend the pond was beautiful nice and peaceful kids loved swimming in the pond and fishing and us adults enjoyed it we will be back owners were super helpful and nice very beautiful campsites

We really liked the hilltop campsite. We travel in a 37 foot motorhome and it was easy to navigate through their Campground. We also ran out of propane on the way into their Campground and they do fill fixed propane tanks in motorhomes so that was a nice addition we didn’t have to go search for that somewhere else. We stayed there for three nights. It’s quiet and they have activities for kids and adults. They have some nice trails that lead down to the lake . The surrounding area had lots to do.

Convenient location and easy to find! Love the option to have a cement porch and rocking bench at the campsite. Dog friendly always a plus they even had conveniently placed dog poop bags around the property.

I loved staying in the cabin. It was so peaceful. The staff was super friendly. Being able to have a camp fire and relax on the beautiful deck was so rewarding. I would absolutely come back again.

I needed a place to spend the night on my cross-country trip. This place was perfect during the planning stage, 8 hrs of driving and a pull thru spot. The pluses were huge, full hook up, easy to navigate, helpful staff, friendly neighbors and quiet. I needed a place to sleep after being on the road, the place was great, flat spot so no leveling, I didn’t even disconnect and 12 hours later I was back on the road. Great place!

2 nights at Fruitdale Farm
My stay in the Sugar Shack at Fruitdale was magical and transformative. I loved everything about it. Aimee has created a beautiful, idyllic farm, gardens, and sanctuary, everything was just as described, and I couldn’t have had a better time. I especially loved being visited by Tangy, the cat, sitting by the pond, and exploring local hiking trails. The Farm Stand is great, too, and next time, I’ll get my produce there! Thank you for your hard work, hospitality, and careful stewardship of the land. Will definitely return and recommend to others.

1 night at Cherokee Valley Bison Ranch Creekside Retreat
Our stay at the Tipi was amazing! Meeting Carie at the front house and having our fresh bison burgers hand delivered was just the start. The property was beautiful and well maintained. As the sun set the lightening bugs lit up the entire campsite. It was truly a magical stay and we will definitely return hopefully with some friends for a longer stay.

Geneva hills has made excellent upgrades to their facility, extra bathrooms and a remodel of the pool house was very nice. Definitely going to keep visiting here for my birthday hopefully every year or close to it! They have a little playground close to the lodge that my daughter loved. We made really great memories here and I will happily be back!

The host was very friendly and accommodating. Apple Maps brought us directly to the address. Cell signal is hit and miss. The driveway is steep so a 4 wheel drive vehicle would be best. Camp sites are all hillside. It was very quiet and we enjoyed the fireflies and solar powered lights that came on at dusk. Toilet facilities minimal but adequate.
It was completely overcast while we were there, but I imagine there are some really nice sky views when it isn’t.
We enjoyed our stay.

Lovely views of the surounding hills! The site was very clean, lots of families, very quiet. Hosts were very helpful and friendly.
Lots of fun extras for the kids like a jump pillow and a nice little 9 hole putt putt course.
Would stay again for sure!

We loved camping here! Jim went above and beyond to accommodate us and we loved the all natural and secluded vibes of the site. Very peaceful, quiet, and beautiful spot to unwind and connect with nature. We will definitely be back and the winery within hiking distance was delicious with equally amazing staff!

An adorable and unexpected bonus was the visits from the owners dog. A very well-behaved animal.
