We have three designated camping sites available and also we have two dispersed primitive tent camping areas On the edge of the vacantOur private property is located on a township road that is no longer maintained past our residents resulting in trails there is no through traffic. We are on the edge of Hocking and Vinton county lines, on the ridge, where both sunrise and sunset views are visible to see in wide open areas on trails. We want you to experience this beautiful place and help us to keep this place unique. So more people can experience nature at its best....leave no trace clean your area before you leave . Thank You! *We are off road vehicle friendly* On the edge of the vacant wilderness and the local attractions We have done a lot of work, we are brand new! Our area is made for you! Coming soon : 2 campsites with full hookups and two other lodging options with 2 mini hideaway (guest houses) transformed with heating, cooling, water, electric, with shower. Also in the future a house rental handicap accessible lodging for events and/or large get togethers or if you prefer a vacation rental. With a brand new huge back deck and gazebo. Relax and enjoy this unique beautiful peaceful place, put your feet up and stay awhile. Stay with us and explore nature in the Hocking and Vinton county hills Are you looking for a easy accessible private not crowded place to stay near all the much loved Hocking hills caves well you have found it and it's not original! So that adds to your road trip!! We like to think of are place as a small campground with big ideas interested in getting together in a group for a event? Contact us! We are located in South Bloomingville Ohio 43152. We are 15 minutes from Ash Cave and Old Man's Cave. Also Lake Hope State Park only 37 minutes away from our location. Firewood is provided but more is available. If needed Guest can purify water from our outside water spicket by boiling. Guest should bring body wipes along with wash cloths and towel with pan they can warm water over campfire for bathing. Bring laundry bag to put dirty clothes in. ALSO IF YOU LET US KNOW AHEAD OF TIME AND ARE PLANNING TO STAY 4 or more nights WE CAN HAVE A PORTABLE RESTROOM AVAILABLE. We can have a portable restroom available upon request

When you enter Cherry Tree campsite is the First campsite on the LEFT. Near the landscape trail marker cherry tree taking a look into history and the stories of those who came before us. Search on the web about the landscape (marker-pointer) trees very interesting not sure if this cherry tree was made this way or it developed naturally but it's neat to think of history of how people and Indians marked trails. Beautiful place. Very easily accessible access to many trails right from camping. If you have any questions our home is 56940 Mills Road (the white house) if you have any questions For location of the campsites go past our driveway top of hill on left There is plenty of room for turning your vehicle and trailer around and for parking. wild-ridge-camp-sites.com

Awesome place to stay!

Beautiful property up a little mountain, they are working on getting power and water setup and the area is very much still a work in progress but it's getting there, very few neighbors and your on the edge of a ridge with great views. The family is very kind and even ran an extension cord out for us to have power, it let us put up our outdoor lights and made for an awesome extended weekend. Your close to all the awesome caves and falls. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful two-night stay at Wildridge! Jody and Mark were fantastic, communicative hosts — we were thrilled to be among the first guests to experience their gorgeous and peaceful property. Tucked away from the main roads yet close to Hocking Hills and local amenities, this is such a lovely campsite. Thank you Mark and Jody! Wishing you all the best as you get the campsite fully up and running.

This place is just getting started!!! Got a few pads in working on hookups. They was explaining some of their future plans and we can't wait to see what the future brings.
