We have been working hard to get everything ready for you as a brand-new destination for your camping and lodging adventures, we want to share this unique space. Wild Ridge Campsites are located on the ridge where sunrise and sunsets can be seen in wide open areas. We are nestled between Hocking and Vinton county hills a perfect place to enjoy the warm shady sunrise and the beautiful sunsets. If you are looking for a different experience that is off the beaten path but close to all the local attractions you have found it. We are located in South Bloomingville, Ohio (43152), just 15 minutes from Ash Cave and Old Man’s Cave, with many other historical landscapes to experience nearby and if you want to explore further, Lake Hope State Park is only a 37-minute drive away. Ancient wonders are waiting on you! 🌲 Upcoming Accommodations Shellbark Hickory Hide-away: Our new lodging and glamping option is coming soon! 🏕️Current Amenities and Experience Our sites offer a rustic, authentic outdoor experience while we put the finishing touches on our modern utilities: Outlook Haven and Cherry Tree campsites are two designated camping sites for RVs and any size campers that can be reserved for any type of camping experience. There is one designated primitive campsite at Bigfoot Pathway which is designed for vehicles offering a unique lower level for setting up your tent and area for a campfire with plenty of other space to enjoy. Also we provide dispersed tent only camping areas in our back woods. Firewood: we provide your initial firewood, with more available on-site. RV/Campsite Hookups: WE NOW HAVE ELECTRIC HOOKUP!!!!! Septic and Electric hookups are ready and available at the Cherry Tree and Outlook Haven sites!! Water and Bathing: Guests can access water from our outdoor spigot for potable water. For bathing, please bring body wipes, towels, and a pan to warm water over the fire. We are working on the final touches for water hookup availability directly at the camping sites. Come relax, put your feet up, and enjoy a scenic peaceful escape with nature. We look forward to hosting your next road trip adventure!

Bigfoot Pathway camping area is a designated primitive campsite. When you pull in it is the 2nd camping site located the on right side. It is for tents and smaller vehicles. You can pull in or back into the campsite. This camping area is accessible for 2WD cars wanting to camp with tent. AWD or 4WD is recommended for toy haulers, etc This site has a unique lower level for your camping area to put tent, picnic area, camp fire and plenty of other space to enjoy! When you enter, Cherry Tree campsite is the First campsite on the left. ELECTRIC AND SEPTIC HOOKUP AVAILABLE! Near the landscape trail marker cherry tree taking a look into history and the stories of those who came before us. Search on the web about the landscape (marker-pointer) trees very interesting not sure if this cherry tree was made this way or it developed naturally but it's neat to think of history of how people and Indians marked trails. Beautiful place. Very easily accessible access to many trails right from camping. If you have any questions our home is 56940 Mills Road (the white house) if you have any questions For location of the campsites go past our driveway top of hill on left There is plenty of room for turning your vehicle and RV/camper or trailer around and for parking. 4 wheel drive is recommended for any camper or RV, etc but all campsites are two wheel drive accessible for cars https://wild-ridge-camp-sites.com/terms-and-conditions/

As you enter, Outlook Haven is the first campsite on the right. Huge flat level, beautiful location easy accessible with a good view of the sunset horizon. As you enjoy this area, ELECTRIC AND SEPTIC HOOKUP AT CAMPSITE! we are working on the final touches for water hookup. Water and Bathing: Guests can access water from our outdoor spigot for potable water. For bathing, please bring body wipes, towels, and a pan to warm water over the fire. Mark and Jody were very accommodating, thier property is fairly private, the portapotty was clean and stocked . The directions were accurate and the 3 sites were well marked. Improvements are still in progress but it was still a great site. The best part of all was the price on firewood . At 35$ a tote i was able to have a nice well stocked fire for 2 day's and only used half of what was provided. Absolutely loved this site and would definitely recommend it. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Beautiful property up a little mountain, they are working on getting power and water setup and the area is very much still a work in progress but it's getting there, very few neighbors and your on the edge of a ridge with great views. The family is very kind and even ran an extension cord out for us to have power, it let us put up our outdoor lights and made for an awesome extended weekend. Your close to all the awesome caves and falls. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful two-night stay at Wildridge! Jody and Mark were fantastic, communicative hosts — we were thrilled to be among the first guests to experience their gorgeous and peaceful property. Tucked away from the main roads yet close to Hocking Hills and local amenities, this is such a lovely campsite. Thank you Mark and Jody! Wishing you all the best as you get the campsite fully up and running.
