Peaceful, well appointed stay ☺️
I really enjoyed my stay on Suzie’s property. It was peaceful to wake up and see all of the horses grazing peacefully. We were tent camping and there was access to everything we could have wanted for a night’s stay. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Tent camping was great. Easy to drive up, and the property was very rural. You were far enough from everyone else to feel privacy, and the outhouse was the nicest we’ve had! We appreciate being secluded and private without the crowds of other campgrounds. Will definitely stay again.

Tranquil camp site!
Susie’s sites were tranquil and beautiful! The property is off the beaten path, so all you hear at night are bugs, birds and the occasional horse snort and chomping of grass! Suzie shared really clear instructions for getting in touch and for accessing water and the outhouse on the site, and came by to greet me after I arrived. I had such a great stay, thank you!

Farm Living at a Quiet Horse Rescue
This was our first Hipcamp stay and we stayed for one night. It was an easy drive from Columbus and the site was easy to find and get to. Suzie was very responsive and was so gracious to let us arrive late when we had a small mechanical issue with our trailer. We stayed in site 1 which directly overlooks the horse pasture, and felt open yet private as we didn't have a direct sight line to any neighboring houses. It was so peaceful to just be able to watch the horses graze all evening. The outhouse was clean and an appreciated amenity. Would definitely stay again in the future!

A wonderful experience
The location is lovely - not too far out from town, but far enough out you know you are in the country. The outhouse was fantastic (not the rustic camping we are used to)! We stayed in the field to the side of a building. This affords privacy despite being very close to the drive and the road. Our kiddos loved playing in the large green space and the adults loved watching the horses right outside of our tent windows. This site is nice as your vehicles can be right by the campsite - great for breaking down camp quickly when it is raining or easy access to that cooler you don't want to pull out of the vehicle!
I would use this property as a base-camp for exploring the area or a really nice place to spend a night on your way through.
The hostess and host were absolutely wonderful and were beyond gracious when we had inclement weather.
I would definitely recommend staying here!

Great site and perfect hosts!
We had a great weekend camp at the quiet horse farm! It was perfect. Just far enough out in the country and the wooded area we camped in was far enough away from the house that we felt pretty isolated. Surrounded by beautiful horses to watch and listen to. Mike (Suzie's husband) was a perfect host. Very friendly and accommodating and left us alone to do our thing, except when delivering firewood directly to our campsite. It is only a 2 hour drive from downtown Cincinnati and we highly recommend them for a quick weekend camping trip out in the country. We will hopefully be able to book with them again!

Highly recommend!
We came back to the primitive campsite for the second time. Again, it was wonderful! The campsite is so beautiful with views, sounds, lots of horses around you. It’s very peaceful and perfect for a night in the woods! Highly recommend!

Gorgeous view and great vibe
Not much to add to other (rave) reviews. Really nice people. Gorgeous view. It is right next to the house and road but somehow you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. Just felt very special. Only FYI is the outdoor shower is a solar set up not running water. Bathroom was very nice and very clean. Highly recommend it.

Suzie was such a kind and caring host and her property was beautiful! She gave us information about the site and then gave us privacy. She did pop over one evening to tell us that another set of campers would be coming later that night, but we never even heard them!
We stayed at the site closest to the road-and it is super close to the road-but we never worried once, as there were so few cars that passed by.
The site has a wonderful, flat area to place your tents and run around and play! There is plenty of shade and the outhouse and shower were super private and clean! The horses were extremely peaceful and the loudest noise they made, was their grass crunching! :) We didn’t come across any mosquitoes at all and the sunrise was breathtaking!
We went exploring through town (only a few minutes away) and highly recommend City Sweets and Creamery!

Great, friendly hosts! Quiet site, beautiful surroundings of horses, corn fields, soy fields, deer. No traffic noise. Very enjoyable. Better than advertised! This was our first Hipcamp stay in our 35 foot class C.

Relaxing!
Farm Living Horse Rescue was so relaxing! Suzie was a great host and provides a great place to camp. The hand-crafted composting outhouse and solar shower was well-done. My friend & I, along with our husbands, had a large space to park our camping vans plus a large hexagon meeting tent between us with a view of the beautiful horses. Our weekend would had been perfect if it wasn't for the intermittent drizzling.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our site was very peaceful, quiet, with beautiful scenery. The horses in the pasture and the overall ambiance was a great camping experience. We had a really nice restroom, shower area, and great tasting drinking water. Our host was super friendly and helpful. A great night with the fireflies.

This is the first time I went to Suzie's farm and I must say, it was amazing. It is so well kept and quiet. I needed some peace and alone time, and I couldn't have asked for anything better. The farm is beautiful, and Suzie is an amazing host. Thank you for allowing me to stay overnight there. I'm sure you will be seeing me again.
