Owners were great- he met us with his golf cart and made setting up our camp site super easy. The site itself was secluded and primative- exactly what we were looking for. Shower/bathroom was clean and very handy. Also, this site is close to the lake which was ideal for fishing. The pond on-site was also great to fish in. Had more success there than at the lake! Would recommend! Only thing to note- we brought our hammock and at this particular site we had to set it up on the entrance path as there wasn't a ton of great trees to use at this particular campsite at Fairhaven.

Tent camping at Melissa’s was quiet and peaceful. There was a large metal fire ring perfect to enjoy an evening and morning fire. Large picnic table to sit around and a great surrounding area. Convenient indoor bathroom and shower for campers. Close to Yellow Springs.

First time camper here and this was the perfect spot! We were the only people there so it worked out nicely in our favor and was a quiet, relaxing trip. We wanted to choose a spot that wasn’t an actual campground and close to the ren faire to get there quickly on Sunday. We spent most of the afternoon fishing (you will definitely catch something) and the entire property is very thought out and intentional with activities. I was looking forward to a little hiking as walking trails are listed but they're just paths from site to site, so I wouldn’t anticipate that but there’s plenty else to do. The bathroom was very nice and they have a small shop for some items you may have forgotten: snacks, propane, rope, ice, wood. This may be an annual trip for us! 🙂

Super cute spot that is well equipped for campers. The sites are a bit close but very well covered. The walk to the bathrooms isn’t horrible (laundry, toilet, shower) and the host helps load your stuff in a golf cart to the spot. Very great stay, a cute little shop they have setup of homemade stuff and snacks.

Directions were very clear and someone was there to meet us to help get our gear to the site. Despite not being able to park at the site, the assistance with gear and closeness to the parking made it easy to load in and out. Bathroom facilities are great and the grounds were very private and peaceful. Just note that the ground is quite hard right now, so we had to get creative with staking our tent with weights. Otherwise, site was level, well maintained and had the basics that we needed!

This was such a peaceful camping experience! Very thoughtful accommodations - the campsite was level and secluded from other campers while not being too far from the bathroom. The pond was set up with boats and life vests and fishing gear for recreation - our kids had a blast! And our hosts were extremely prompt in communicating and wonderful to talk to. Will definitely be staying here again!

I was impressed with how clean and well-maintained our campsite was! The property was fun to explore and had a lot for our young family to do. The bathroom was also clean. The property owner was so friendly and helpful in helping us get our stuff from our car to our site! We purchased homemade canned goods and they are delicious! There were also s’mores kits and other camping supplies available for purchase. We would love to stay here again sometime!

We had a great time. The hosts are super sweet and helpful and have lots of things in case you forgot something. The lake is a lot of fun but be aware the diving board and water slide are not open for use. We would stay there again.

Our family had a great time. The pond offers plenty to do for grownups and an 8 year old, who caught his first fish there, plus many others! The site is secluded and a short walk to the bathroom and shower. Both were clean and very welcomed! We purchased a Swedish fire log and some eggs and both were worth the price. Highly recommended!

It was beautiful, quiet, very clean and well maintained. The hosts were very kind, friendly and helpful! Enjoyed the near by hiking, kayaking and the town of Yellow Springs as well as close proximity to Rose Theater for some music! I would definitely stay there again!!

My daughters and I just had the most relaxing experience at Fairhaven. We stayed at the Omicron Ceti III campsite. It was small but plenty of space for the 3 of us and closest to the bathroom.
We enjoyed swimming in the cleanest pond I’ve ever swam in. And the girls enjoyed th kayaks and fishing. The covered deck was so relaxing and looked over the beautiful pond.
The bathroom was incredibly clean and exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this to anyone spending the day in YellowSprings. It was just a 25 min drive from that area. We will definitely be back.

The campsite was everything we expected and more! The tree canopy over the camp site provided so much shade over the campsite that we were comfortable during 90* weather! Many activities provided! Would stay again.

This was a great, kid-friendly site! If you are looking for a good place to take your kids camping, they have a catch and release pond, sand pit, and bathroom! Not much privacy and could see other campsites nearby. It worked for our needs!

We had such a good time on Melissa's property!!! There was plenty of woods to explore and activities to check out near the pond. Steve introduced us to the chickens and sold us some eggs and firewood which was very helpful. The firewood ended up being a bit green so we had to run out and purchase some but that wasn't an issue at all! There are other campsites nearby and you can hear other campers but it was still very private and peaceful! We ended up befriending some neighbor campers and had a great weekend!!! Great location near some wonderful state parks and preserves as well. We loved our time here!

Very clean and nice campground. Sites are a little on the small side perfect for one big tent or 2 small ones. Perfect spot for a getaway. Sites are private enough but you are still able to see and hear other campers close by. The shower and bathroom are about perfect for camping and nicer than other places we've been.

We had such a great time camping at Fairhaven! The campsite was nice with a lot of shaded trees, privacy and a picnic table. We loved how peaceful it was at night and the close proximity to a real toilet (which was especially clean)! Our little ones really loved looking at the chickens and had fun playing in the sandbox area. Melissa, the host, was very communicative and hospitable. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely be back!

My climbing partner and I had an amazing time. From the start our belongings were brought to our site. The host was very gracias in providing us some starter wood and made are stay as comfortable as possible. I have my new camp in Springfield and wouldn’t stay anywhere else.
