Low Meadow Farms (formerly Brown Bike Farms) is a serene four-acre meadow bordered by Burnett Creek. The campground is an easy distance to Downtown Knoxville and an even easier access to all that South Knox's Urban Wilderness has to offer. It uniquely offers a hint of backcountry camping without the 25-mile hike in. It is a great way to test the waters for primitive camping or an easy stop close to the city for a seasoned traveler. It is best suited for car camping, RVs, tent, and hammock camping.
There are fire pits and picnic tables at each site with enough room for tents and RVs. Most sites have trees suitable for hammock camping all along the creek.
There is potable water, firewood for sale, solar showers, and a bike wash stand all next to the covered communal area.
Each standard site can accommodate 2 people to keep space between groups and lessen the impact on the land. Sites 10 and 13 can each accommodate 6 guests. If you have more in your group, we recommend reserving an adjoining campsite.
Sites 1, 2 and 3 are off the main path to the left of the property, and still by the creek. Sites 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 are all along the creek and gravel drive Site 10 is very private with creek access on three sides. Site 11 is private with creek access all along the front. Site 12 is up high on a hill, and Site 13 is open in the middle of the meadow.

Greenbrier Tn. one of the first settlements here in the National park is only a scenic 30 minute scenic drive from the farm which will takes you through the arts and crafts community while avoiding the hectic hustle and bustle of town .
While visiting Greenbrier you can find a picnic area near the river and an outdoor pavilion with a large grill for your special events located there .
Several trail heads are located there in the Greenbrier community including Brushy Mountain trail Old settlers trail (several old settlements can easily be found here) Porters Gap trail.
There are too many local attractions to list within 15 to 25 minute drive , from horseback riding . tubing, rafting , smoky mountain gravity park to shopping outlet malls . READ !! Be sure to check mypigeonforge.com , pigeonforge.com or gatlinburg.com to find all the local special events calenders as there is at times ALOT of heavy traffic you may not be prepared for . Pull down a paved road and get out of your car and sit down at a picnic table in front of a private waterfall!
This site has a pull through, full hookup spot with 30amp for campers but tents are always welcome or a combination of the two. I've had a 33' camper, popup camper and 6 tents at this campsite all at the same time so there plenty of room for your family and friends!
We're 2.5 miles from the Cherokee Casino and 3.5 miles from down town Cherokee
If you're tired of crowded campgrounds then you'll love the privacy this campground offers. This is now a two site campground with each site being around 100' away from the other site with trees and vegetation growing in between, you more or less cant see on site from the other from May until November.
There is a orange cone that marks the border of the two sites. One set of campers will not be allowed on the other campers campsite, if this happens you will be evicted with no refund.
Check in is at 2pm and check out is at 12pm.
No shooting firearms, (although you may hear people shooting firearms because you will be camping in the mountains) but your more than welcome to bring your firearms. Its better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
No fireworks.
No making trails or collecting firewood (This is not because I want to sell you firewood, its because I want to have the property remain as pristine as possible)
Do not cut down trees alive or dead
If you move picnic tables please move them back
Dogs are permitted but message me first to see if your do will be a good fit.
There is a small Church around 200 yards from the campground. They hold services every Wednesday and Sunday. They generally start around 5pm and it lasts around a hour. If your into that they would love to have you come down.
The EBCI opened a dispensary around 3 miles from the campground. It will open to all adults over 21 starting September 7th 2024.

4. CHECK OUT PROCEDURES. Camp must be broken down by 11 AM on departure day. If you stay past time you could be charged for an additional day. Extension possible with pre-approval.

7. No washing vehicles
8. PETS must be kept on a leash at all times. Please clean up after your pets and do NOT leave them in the campground unattended.

Our location is phenomenal we are an hour from Knoxville and Asheville and just about 1/4 mile off I-40. Right at the foothills of the Smoky Mountains and 35 minutes from Gatlinburg about 40 minutes to Pigeon Forge (Dollywood), also about 45 minutes to Sevierville and one of my favorite Tanger Outlets!! The beautiful Smoky Mountains the National Park is filled with hiking trails and horse stables and trails. Some of the best white water rafting is less then 5 miles up the road along with zip lining and a lil taste of moonshine here and there.
This property is primitive with no electric and has a camping style bathhouse. IT’s recommended for outdoor lovers and people that are not too needy. Hurricane Helene brought unforecasted changes in the land but the tranquility of the River remains. We have worked to restore as much as we could. As for us it’s still our happy place in the Smoky Mountains!

The place is an old school site that was literally left to be buried by the forest, until I came along and decided to fix it up, and create a holistic sanctuary

Nestled beautifully on an old tobacco farm, you will find serenity as you sit under one of the many dogwoods that are on the property. Enjoy looking up and gazing at the open skies or chasing the magical fireflies.
ALL designated sites are first come, first serve. There are 4 designated tent sites with private fire pits. These are areas we find most level. You can also simply choose your favorite spot on the rolling hills or simply car camp. There is one level pull-in or back-in site for RV's/ travel trailers/ campervans. (It is on the left immediately before the parking area under the poplar tree). There is also plenty of room in the parking area to accommodate these as well. Only 4WD vehicles may drive in the grass to any spot of their choosing. When choosing a spot DO NOT go past the porta-john or playground area. Please be respectful of other guests and their use of these amenities when you set up your site. None of the sites have electricity or water. There is an electric outlet by the badminton net and a water spigot just on the border of the property (just past and to the left of the porta-john).
Take a moment to enjoy a walk or bike ride by the creek and play a game of badminton, volleyball, tetherball, or let your imagination soar stop the small climbing structure.
The property is located 10 minutes to downtown Cherokee, 12 minutes to downtown Bryson City, and 15 minutes to downtown Sylva. Check out event calendars for these areas or find your next hiking or river adventure located here and in the surrounding areas. Come and enjoy your nights at Dogwood Daze.

Outstanding experience! Site is easily accessible and well-maintained, and we were welcomed by our host upon arriving. This is the ideal balance between the camping experience and a touch of modern amenities. And it’s centrally located so getting to Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Gatlinburg, and whitewater rafting doesn’t take long at all for day trips. We had such a wonderful stay at Honeysuckle Campground. The entire property was extremely clean, comfortable, and welcoming. We especially loved how convenient everything was, the campground had cooking supplies, cleaning supplies, and thoughtful amenities that made camping so much easier and more enjoyable.
The scenery was stunning, with gorgeous mountain views and a relaxing atmosphere that made it hard to leave. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience feel even more special and personal. Everything about our stay felt peaceful, cozy, and well cared for. We truly loved our time here and would happily recommend Honeysuckle Campground to anyone visiting the area.

The cabin was a great location for anyone wanting to stay away from busy Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. With small children we love to tent camp, but traveling a long ways doesn’t always work for a tent- the cabin was perfect for us! We loved the cozy space and the hosts were very welcoming and helpful! We loved exploring the campground and enjoying the views.

I had a purely positive experience at Dogwood Daze. I initially booked one night while I was moving across the country in my little honda civic. I found the site as well as the nearby town and nature so welcoming and relaxing I decided to stay an extra night before moving onto the next leg of my long roadtrip.
Lisa was so personable and welcoming, she even jumpstarted my cars battery after it died and recommended a local autoparts shop to get a replacement (which was long overdue).
Sure the neighbor's dogs bark alot, but as a dog owner myself its pretty easy to tune out. Plus her dogs were so friendly and playful with my older dog Indie, I could tell it was his favorite stop in our two week long trip. Indie got to shake out all his stiffness from sitting in the car and romped around all morning with his new friends off leash.
I saw some reviews saying how the campsites were not flat, which is technically true, but two of the sites are nearly flat and once I set up with my tent and sleeping pad I couldn't feel any incline at all.
Besides staying with my best friend in his apartment in Atlanta, this was the most restful camp stop I made in my trip from west coast to east.

Kat's slice of property is beautifully maintained with low hedgerows between grass areas for polinators and wildlife.
I was pretty much the only one there so it was very quite and peaceful with the exception of a few cars on the nearby road.
There is a great deal of poison ivy around the edges of some sites, so if you're highly allergic be prepared.

Very convenient to Great Smoky National Forest without having to be in a crowded campground lined up cheek by jowl. Very quiet and peaceful, located near a creek; we could hear the soothing sound of rushing water all day.
The road leading into the Hipcamp was a bit twisty/turny but we made it there without any problems. It’s about a 30 minute scenic-drive to the entrance of the NP but that includes driving through Gatlinburg.
Everything in the camp is new and we were very comfortable. There was only one other camper in the camp while we were there.

I had such a wonderful experience camping here. The sound of the stream alone was worth the trip — constant, peaceful, & absolutely magical. I pitched my tent right on the water’s edge, & waking up on my air mattress to the sight & sound of the stream flowing by was unforgettable. The clean mountain air & quiet atmosphere were exactly what I had been searching for. What impressed me most was how thoughtfully designed & maintained everything was. The sites were easy to access, nice & flat, with fresh gravel & plenty of room. The open-air bathhouse was beautifully constructed with gorgeous wood, spotlessly clean, & had excellent hot water. Even the toilet flushed better than many hotels! There was also a sturdy fire pit & a heavy-duty grill at the site, which made everything feel comfortable & easy.
Before booking, I had asked in a Facebook tent camping group if anyone knew of a quiet campsite by water that also had electricity & water hookups. Most people reacted with laughing emojis & basically said, “Good luck with that.” A few recommended Hipcamp… and wow, they were right. This place was exactly what I had hoped to find. Richard was incredibly kind and responsive, even when I asked silly questions (including forgetting to download the gate code before losing cell service on the mountain!) Thankfully there’s WiFi at the site, which was a huge bonus. It also felt secluded & peaceful while still being very close to town if you needed ice, supplies. This place was a rare gem.

Definitely would recommend to splurge and get Tree Solo for some extra privacy.
Everything was clean and well kept. The bed was super comfy and we enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch.
The only downside to the site is that the fire pit is on a hill so there really isn’t any great place to sit in a chair next to the fire without it tipping over.

This was a great get away. It was quiet and was great to have a small creek to sit next to. There is a porta potty on the property which was very clean so that was really nice. It is definitely more suited for tent camping or small trailers. We have a 26' pull behind and we almost couldn't get it turned around to park it. Kat was very responsive to messages I sent.

Michael is great to work with, when I booked the Creekside site, he wrote back to tell me that it might be wet and overgrown due to rain, so just in case he said we could pick either site once we judged it for ourselves. We ended up on the upper site where there is more than enough level areas to set up - could easily handle 4-5 tents.
We stayed late the next day to enjoy the mountain air.
