This place was exactly as described! Host was welcoming and helpful in setting up a comfortable stay, plus the indoor bathroom/outdoor shower space was a great amenity. Close to Knoxville, and about an hour from popular Great Smoky Mountains trailheads. Great location to disconnect without being too far from the city or dealing with the traffic in the park.

It’s hard to get a simple spot to pitch a tent for less than $30 these days. Staying here was definitely worth a few more dollars! The beds were surprisingly comfortable and even though we had temperatures in the low 30s one night the provided space heater with our propane tank kept us more than warm.

Excellent in all ways

GlamKnox is an excellent place to stay, whether for a night or for several. I was in Clare which is a small tent, but it was just me. Very comfortable, roomy and clean. Bed was super comfortable, I worried I might be cold with the blankets provided - I need not have worried. The charging station was helpful, the fans were great at midday. Bathrooms by barn were spotless, outdoor shower had nice hot water. Loved the location, close to Knoxville, close to Smoky Mountain National Park (avoid going the main route to avoid traffic). Excellent communication, host is willing to work with you if there are issues. Extremely friendly. Somehow I made friends with Smoky, the barn cat and she adopted me for the last three nights of my stay. Super friendly animal and added a lot of relaxing unwind time to my visit as I got to pet her on the porch.

Highly Recommend GlampKnox

I had a great experience at GlampKnox. You can asily navigate to the site via Google Maps, and the directions provided by the GlampKnox staff were very clear, as were the signs on site. You drive up an inclined gravel road to the camp site, where 3 sturdy canvas tents are set up on wooden platforms. There is a single parking spot in front of each tent. My tent held up perfectly in the rain, was clean, mostly bug-free [one stink bug which I ignored], with a very comfortable bed and extra blankets. I loved the phone charger pack, fan, lantern, and available propane heater [which I did not use in October]. I used the restroom and outdoor shower attached to the barn, and they got the job done [shower water was warm enough but not very hot], but the shower might be a bit cold in the winter months. I did not have time to visit with the horses or set a campfire, but those options are available if you're taking it easy. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

I was just passing through and needed something already set up that I could go right in and sleep and take off early the next morning. Was clean and comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was how close to the interstate it was so I could hear constant traffic. But would recommend this place to friends

I visited during the week and it was perfect. Secluded and peaceful. I did wander around to find the shower down at the barn but after I found it outside, it was great. Shampoo, conditioner and towels provided, which was greatly appreciated. Note that the walk to the barn is down a hill and a little steep, but there is a rope to hold. Would recommend

Peaceful Stay

GlampKnox is a peaceful setting but near enough to Knoxville to enjoy all it has to offer. The tents and beds are comfortable yet rustic enough to give the feel of someplace much further away from civilization. Will definitely stay here again in the future

We had a great stay in Tree Solo! The hosts at GlampKnox thought of everything— we had a bug net to keep the tent insect-free, our own outhouse, water, power, fans, and lanterns. The land is beautiful, and the horses and barn cat are an added bonus! Would definitely recommend.

Everything you need.. Tents are well appointed with chargers, light and fan. Beds were VERY comfortable. Host was very responsive and brought us ice last minute.. very friendly and accommodating. We had the place to ourselves and built a fire even though it was warm. Sat in the rocking chairs and enjoyed the evening. toilet is close enough to tents but not too close!!

Absolutely loved this place. Teesolo is the best site in property. The staff was incredibly accommodating. The facility was beautiful. The outdoor shower was so cute and the bathroom was clean! I was also super surprised that there was also an outhouse by the tent. The tent stayed perfectly dry and I had no issues with mosquitoes or anything of that nature. They even provided an extra bug screen incase I slept with the door open. My pups and I Absolutely loved this place. The front porch Absolutely was the icing ontop of the cake. 10/10 could not recommend this enough. Id love to come back and stay for a longer period of time.

Site has a lot of potential but the tent we stayed in had holes in the net on the window and there was no sealed bug net on the door just a net that was loosely hung on Velcro around the door. We also had trouble finding the restroom with running water. Wish there would have been someone to show us around the site and make the experience feel more welcoming.

Solo tent - 5 stars!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beautiful spot. We stayed in the solo tent which I recommend if you want extra privacy. The barn is so beautiful. The outdoor shower located at the barn is such a great space. Everything was super clean, the host was really responsive through the app, and they provided clean water for dishes. Easy to find given the written directions. Just an overall great space. Would stay again!

The property was very pretty. We arrived much later than anticipated and left early so we didn’t get to relax and enjoy experience but we would come back when we have more time. The property management and staff were very prompt with responses to questions. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated that bedding was provided. We didn’t use the Jackery power unit but it was a nice feature as was the lantern, which came in handy. The property is also used as a wedding space which would be beautiful for an intimate event.

Relaxing and beautiful.

It was beautiful and peaceful. The tent kept us dry all through the storms we had, the fans definitely helped keep cool, and the cat stayed with us and kept us company most of the time we were there. Everyone seems to have the same complaint, and it's the only one I can think of, the path to the restroom can be a little slippery while dewy in the morning and after rain, since it is a bit steep. The bed was comfortable and the check in was quick and easy. I would recommend to anyone.

Grande tent, grand time!

We had a wonderful time staying in the Grande tent! Feeding the horses and the kitty were a fun little bonus. The shower was perfect temperature and the bathrooms were nice a cool. Definitely recommend this place!

This site was exactly what I was expecting plus more. It was beautiful, relaxing, and clean. The horses were very sweet and we were given a complimentary bag of horse treats. There was a wedding during our stay which makes the main bathrooms off limits during the evening but we were provided a place to shower despite that, the manager(I believe she was) picked us up and dropped us off on the golf cart and even watched our dog while we showered. Would absolutely stay here again. This is glamping done the right way!

Loved our stay and hope to return!

Loved our stay at GlampKnox. It’s beautiful and quiet, but conveniently close enough to everything. The host was super friendly and responsive. The kitty was also super friendly and the cutest. The bathroom was nice. There was a thunderstorm our first night there, and the tent stayed perfectly dry. I only wish we had more time there.

Incredible Glamping Experience!

Tree Solo was amazing! Extremely clean and comfortable. The tent felt really private and like our own personal escape. We would stay there again any time! The hosts were very helpful and we had everything we needed!!

We stayed in the grande and it’s a perfect size! So nice having rocking chairs and the fire pit being on flat land. The potty available you have to use a bag to go in, which was a surprise. I do wish they let you know for sure that there was a wedding when you book your trip, so you know beforehand. It’s hard loosing the showers and nice bathrooms most of Saturday and not very relaxing listening to loud wedding music. The freeway is very loud at night too. But otherwise the camping itself is nice. Perfect for a family and being pregnant, where I need a real bed haha. The staff was very helpful and nice. The walkway from camp to the barn & toilets is steep and narrow and the gravel driveway deff needs to be raked/flattened to make for an easier drive. It’s a lot of hills and walking to get around on foot, which is kinda hard to tell in pictures. But overall a good glamp space!
