Low Meadow Farms (formerly Brown Bike Farms) is a serene four-acre meadow bordered by Burnett Creek. The campground is an easy distance to Downtown Knoxville and an even easier access to all that South Knox's Urban Wilderness has to offer. It uniquely offers a hint of backcountry camping without the 25-mile hike in. It is a great way to test the waters for primitive camping or an easy stop close to the city for a seasoned traveler. It is best suited for car camping, RVs, tent, and hammock camping. There are fire pits and picnic tables at each site with enough room for tents and RVs. Most sites have trees suitable for hammock camping all along the creek. There is potable water, firewood for sale, solar showers, and a bike wash stand all next to the covered communal area. Each standard site can accommodate 2 people to keep space between groups and lessen the impact on the land. Sites 10 and 13 can each accommodate 6 guests. If you have more in your group, we recommend reserving an adjoining campsite. Sites 1, 2 and 3 are off the main path to the left of the property, and still by the creek. Sites 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 are all along the creek and gravel drive Site 10 is very private with creek access on three sides. Site 11 is private with creek access all along the front. Site 12 is up high on a hill, and Site 13 is open in the middle of the meadow.

Please keep in mind this is primitive and wild Tennessee landscape that may also contain poisonous plants and wildlife in or around camp. Access to fresh water fun is a short down-hill hike for all guests, with the exception of our hike-in campsites which are positioned alongside the river. Each spot has been strategically selected to provide as much privacy as possible, and comfortably accommodates groups with two vehicles. We provide a rock fire pit and heavy-duty, cast-iron grill grate. You provide everything else, including drinking water and personal toilet waste bags if you plan to use our system. The hike-in sites come with extra seating.  Every guest must be included on your reservation, and adult guests may be required to provide identification. Thank you! COMMUNITY COMFORT STATION: There is a comfort station with an outdoor shower stall for hanging your own solar shower bag. The comfort station also includes a changing room which doubles as a private place to use your portable camping toilet. A toilet seat and bucket system is provided but guests will need to use their own waste disposal bags, available at most camping supply stores. The backside of the comfort station has a rain barrel (not potable) collection system for extinguishing fires. OFF-ROAD CONDITIONS:  Due to the primitive nature of our location, all reservations should expect hilly terrain and potential bumpy or some muddy road access, especially after heavy rain. We ask all guests to help us minimize impacts by driving with care. Vehicles with low ground clearance or low-profile tires are no longer permitted to use the off-road drive and must park at the entrance. If you want a campsite with the shortest walk from the entrance parking area, you will want to select campsite 5, 9 or 6. When the road is open during unusually wet periods, we recommend AWD or 4WD as a precaution. We are continuously working on improvements for our off-road drive. Belle and Beau Acres is a farm homestead with a personal campground, conveniently located less than five minutes from I40.  Expect nothing short of 360 degree views of relaxing nature, privacy, and spontaneous adventure when recreating at this agritourism location. Running Water Creek is a unique, fully off grid campground just 20 minutes to downtown Chattanooga. We have 80+ campsites spread out over 120 acres. Most of the roads are accessible in any small car, but some roads require 4x4 (they're marked with a sign). We have a bath house with toilets, showers, and sinks and even offer hot water! Our well and cabins are all solar-powered as we are not on the electric grid. Some info about the property: -we DO NOT have water or power hookups -we have gravel roads with a 5 MPH speed limit on the property (if you drive too fast the roads will seem rough) -we are right next to a highway and train tracks so there will be some noise (some days are better than others and we have no way of predicting how many trains will/will not go by) -none of our campsites have picnic tables (please plan accordingly) -most campsites have fire rings built, but if you choose a site without one you need to build your own

Tri Mountain View Campground is located in the Northeast corner of Tennessee in the town of Shady Valley. With an elevation of 2,800 feet, Shady Valley is the second highest town in Tennessee. It is just 26 miles from the Bristol Raceway and the Bristol Caverns. It is just a 15 minute drive to Backbone rock and a short drive to the Appalachian Trail. The property was a Dairy Farm and went out of business in the late 90’s and since then there has been over 3,000 trees planted. Some of these trees include the rare Butternut and Hazelnut, but mostly White Pine, Walnut and Oaks. The property has approximately 1,000 feet of fishing on Beaver dam creek, so we recommend bringing waders. There is also a shower house, washer and dryer.

**Please note the address is 9665 SR 50, Pelham, TN 37301** The best part about this site are the views! Relax on the side of the Cumberland Plateau while overlooking Burroughs Cove and the Elk River. You can see the camp sites from the main road, so there will be some road noise. Sites 1/2 are hard/large graveled, tent camping will be very challenging, heavy duty tent stakes are highly recommended with mats/padding. There is an electrical box at each end of the hard graveled parking areas (Sites 1 and 2) with 20- and 30-amp plugs, plus 110v. If the power is not working, please check the panel and turn on/reset the breakers, many of our guests turn them off when departing. If you are at Site #2 and the steps above do not work, please check/do the same at the Site #1 panel (it is the master power source). Water is NOT available on site. NOTE: Depending on the time of year (warmer months only) a water container with a limited amount of NON-POTABLE water is on site for your use. Please plan on filling your water reservoir(s) PRIOR to arriving. There is an outhouse for all guests, picnic tables and fire rings for Sites 1 and 2. The camping area is fairly close to SR-50 so please expect to hear some road noise, more so in the winter months. The entrance/driveway is on a small incline, if you are traveling in a light vehicle and a heavy camper, it's best to maintain a slow and steady speed to the camp site (for almost everyone, this is not an issue). If you are towing a camper, we recommend the total length of the vehicle and the trailer not exceeding 30ft, There is not a significant place to "turn around" at the sites and novice drivers (not used to backing out of tight spots with longer rigs) may find this very challenging. There is a double gate that is usually closed, and latched so it stays closed, it is not "locked". The site is self-serve (not manned), Site #1 is to the left, Site #2 is to the right, and Site #3 is down the path past the outhouse at the bottom of the path. It is recommended that campers set up early for Site 3 (still daylight) to get an idea of the layout. Parking for Site #3 is by the shed at the main entrance and power is not available at the site.

The Campsites From elevated cliffside views to tucked-away creekside spots, each site offers a unique perspective of the landscape. Ideal for experienced backpackers, all campsites are walk-in (no more than one mile), with select areas accessible by 4WD. We strongly encourage Leave No Trace principles—pack in, pack out, and help preserve the natural beauty for future guests. Creekside Activities Spend your days cooling off in natural swimming holes, floating along the creek, or casting a line for smallmouth and redeye bass. The area is rich with wildlife—you may spot otters, mink, deer, and a variety of birds ranging from songbirds to bald eagles. In spring and early summer, wildflowers blanket the forest floor, bringing vibrant color to your hikes. Nearby Attractions A short walk downstream leads you to Waterloo Falls, a scenic destination featuring two waterfalls, outdoor recreation areas, and an event space. Guests can access this area by adding a day-use fee to their reservation (details provided after booking). Please note that Waterloo Falls may close periodically for private events, so we recommend checking availability in advance. Just one mile away, Bend of the River Gun Range offers a convenient option for shooting enthusiasts. For everyday needs, Cookeville is only a 20-minute drive, with grocery stores, restaurants, and supply shops—close enough for convenience, yet far enough to fully unplug. Important Notes This is a primitive camping experience with no electricity, plumbing, or RV hookups. Guests must bring their own water, cooking equipment, and waste disposal supplies. We are a campground with tent sites and cabins. 40 acres to explore, the grounds are heavily forested, with walking trails and nature, nature, nature. Each site is secluded, We are located in the Cherokee National Forest at the foot of the Smokey Mountains. Just outside the towns of Hartford and Cosby. Hartford has River Rafting, Zip Lines, Kayaking on the Pigeon River. You will be able to get away from it all. but less than 45 minutes from favorite tourist attractions like Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville. We are located 2.6 miles off of I-40 at mile marker 447 just across the NC state line.Learn more about this land:Small off grid campground away from the noise and bustle of bigger campgrounds. Learn more about this land:You’ll cross the covered bridge (clearance 11’6” ) as you enter our farm, a 73 acre small family farm, nestled in the Buffalo Valley of Northeast TN, and featuring a down home country atmosphere. What makes our farm special are all of the unique extras: a working log cabin blacksmith shop, log cabin art gallery, certified commercial kitchen, lots of watchable wildlife, and walking trails. We have a one acre wildlife pond and a smaller pond fed by springs and Buffalo Creek, which runs through the farm. Our small buffalo herd is pastured not far from the campsites and our friendly peacocks and chickens roam the grounds. We also offer classes in blacksmithing, art, foraging and cooking periodically. We are rural but not remote and are minutes away from state parks, fishing, hiking, rafting and other recreational activities as well as downtown Johnson City and Historic Jonesborough with breweries, shops, and many restaurants. As purveyors of Appalachian culture and cuisine, we invite you to stay a day , or longer, to share our friendly and relaxing small farm atmosphere in the mountains.

Such a cool property. The views were great and it felt secluded and very relaxing. Becky was very warm and welcoming. It was raining while I was there but it was so green and lush. I loved all the repurposed stuff on the property and would definitely reccomend staying here. The little waterfall trail and sleeping in a trampoline tent definitely made this stay stand out.

Grant and Becky were fabulous hosts! Even with a rainy weekend our group had an amazing time! The pictures don’t do the waterfall justice and it’s just a quick 5 minute walk from the Outdoor Kitchen/Yurtle Campground. I HIGHLY recommend booking this particular site on the property even if you’re traveling with a small crew. We had 7 campers total and really enjoyed the perks of not having to pack any cooking utensils or gear. We just popped our food in the fridge/freezer and it was perfect! Especially for trips when the weather isn’t ideal you don’t have to worry about relying on a fire for your heat source. Grant and Becky were so kind and accommodating and we are already planning our next trip! A wonderful experience all around!

Outstanding experience! Site is easily accessible and well-maintained, and we were welcomed by our host upon arriving. This is the ideal balance between the camping experience and a touch of modern amenities. And it’s centrally located so getting to Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Gatlinburg, and whitewater rafting doesn’t take long at all for day trips. Overall, I was very impressed and I have no doubt we will return at some point. Muchas gracias!

We had such a wonderful stay at Honeysuckle Campground. The entire property was extremely clean, comfortable, and welcoming. We especially loved how convenient everything was, the campground had cooking supplies, cleaning supplies, and thoughtful amenities that made camping so much easier and more enjoyable. The scenery was stunning, with gorgeous mountain views and a relaxing atmosphere that made it hard to leave. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience feel even more special and personal. Everything about our stay felt peaceful, cozy, and well cared for. We truly loved our time here and would happily recommend Honeysuckle Campground to anyone visiting the area.

We had a wonderful family camping trip here and truly enjoyed every moment. The campground was peaceful, well-maintained and perfect for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights of our stay was river tubing in the creek behind our campsite. Our kids absolutely loved it! The host was incredibly kind and flexible, graciously accommodating our request to shift our reservation by a day due to some travel logistics. That level of understanding and hospitality made the experience even better. Everything on the property was clean, organized and working exactly as expected. We would absolutely recommend this campground to anyone looking for a quiet, family-friendly escape in nature.

I was happy to find Patricia’s Hipcamp so close to my cousin’s place. It is definitely convenient to just about anything you might need! I enjoyed watching the horses across the creek… one of them was actually splashing around in the water next to my site when I arrived. It is a very pretty spot, and everything was as described. The directions were clear, and the site was easy to find. I was, however, glad I brought bug spray because there were a lot of mosquitoes.

We had a great stay at Low Meadow Farms Hipcamp on Site 10. The creek wrapped around two sides of the campsite, and hearing the cool water flowing over the rocks made it incredibly peaceful and relaxing. Since Site 10 is a group site, there was more than enough room for our small hiker camper, a tent, and still plenty of extra space for additional campers if needed. The campground was super quiet, and all the other campers we met were very friendly. We also appreciated the little touches like the solar shower, pavilion with picnic tables and a grill, and the beautiful prairie area to walk through and enjoy nature. There’s a water spigot available, but no electrical hookups — which was perfect for the kind of simple, unplugged camping experience we enjoy.
