The water is well water, pure and delicious without chemicals. The cabin is equipped with a full size pool table for our guests enjoyment. The master bedroom offers a comfortable sleigh bed, full bathroom with shower and just outside the bedroom is a comfortable patio to enjoy, complete with table and chairs for two and outdoor fire place. Also available is a twin bed tucked in the corner of the area between the main room and bedroom. For guests wishing to continue their exercise routine, a modern treadmill is available as well. Walk the spacious well landscaped yard with multiple seating venues including a large hammock. For a quiet night of movie enjoyment, bring your favorite movies and make use of the DVD/VCR machine and wide screen television. Approximately 12-14 television channels are available via outside antenna. This cozy cabin offers something for everyone; book your stay today.

We are making this a working farm and we want to share our story and this beautiful land with people that enjoy the outdoors, we offer primitive camping sites to reduce our impact on the land. We have sites with renewable energy and beautiful views. We invite campers to enjoy their quiet time or participate in the daily activities of the farm, sample some of our products or share a meal. Stone Branch Cabin is a completely off the grid with no electricity or running water located in a wooded, rural area on Waldens Ridge close to several segments of the Cumberland Trail. There are ample opportunities for day trips to hiking trails, swimming holes, waterfalls, climbing spots, and more.
The cabin is nestled on over 5 acres of wooded land complete with 2 wet weather streams. Just off the covered back porch you'll find an outdoor fire pit, chairs, an outdoor kitchen with a rain collection barrel for washing dishes, and a picnic table illuminated by solar string lights. We have one disc golf goal and a croquet set if yard games are your thing. Or simply relax and play fetch with your dog and watch your cat play on the set of cat steps leading up their very own cat-sized cabin.
Other amenities include basic cookery and dinnerware, a Coleman stove (please bring your own propane), an outhouse, board games, art supplies, local hiking guides, trash service, and more.

This property was purchased by my husband and I in 1980 from Margret Cetera mother of Peter Cetera lead singer of the band Chicago. When purchased the home was a small non descript cottage with a pole barn in the back field. It has grown to support grape, blackberry and muscedime vines.The original home has expanded through time and around 20 years ago, the pole barn was converted into a large 1200 square foot cabin with modern conveniences. My husband and I actually enjoyed living full time in the cabin for a period of 5 years before returning to reside in the main house. The cabin consists of 1 large common space room with sitting area and kitchen. The antique farm sink has hot and cold running water. Also available is a large refrigerator, toaster, microwave oven, hot plate, coffee pot and portable dishwasher. The antique Hoosier cabinet holds cooking utensils and silverware and located above the kitchen counter you will find plates, bowls, cups and glasses for your use. The water is well water, pure and delicious without chemicals. The cabin is equipped with a full size pool table for our guests enjoyment. The master bedroom offers a comfortable sleigh bed, full bathroom with shower and just outside the bedroom is a comfortable patio to enjoy, complete with table and chairs for two and outdoor fire place. Also available is a twin bed tucked in the corner of the area between the main room and bedroom. For guests wishing to continue their exercise routine, a modern treadmill is available as well. Walk the spacious well landscaped yard with multiple seating venues including a large hammock. For a quiet night of movie enjoyment, bring your favorite movies and make use of the DVD/VCR machine and wide screen television. As of December 15th, I have begun having new siding installed on house and garage. Daytime noise should be expected, but will still be quiet by dark. I have just over 21 acres of land in the woods. Perfect for deer hunters, nature lovers, and city folk just needing a getaway. All comforts of home, but in the middle of nowhere. State park is nearby, hosting a golf course, riding stables, and rope courses, zip lining and waterfalls you can hike to the bottom of. Beautiful place to spend the day hiking, or just taking in the beauty

This place was magical. You sleep in what was the original kitchen on the homestead, complete with a big rock fireplace, which you are welcome to use.
There is also a corn crib and a one room schoolhouse on the property along with the original log cabin.
Keith was the perfect host.

It was a very enjoyable experience in this rustic cabin. I was traveling with my dog and we had plenty of space for the both of us. At night you could hear the local creek and in the morning I hiked around the property. There was snow the first night but we were able to get wood for the stove and were very comfortable. Would recommend and will stay again when passing through.

Had a great time at the cabin. We came in the off season on a rainy weekend that turned pretty cold, but overall it was a great stay. The cabin was very easy to find, had plenty of firewood (absolute must, no insulation) and secluded enough from the main part of the property to really provide that peace and quiet we were looking for. It could use a little tlc, but again, we came in the off season so it's hard to take any points off for that. Would absolutely stay here again.

This loft perfectly met our needs for a quick, comfortable stopover mid road trip! The appliances all seemed new, the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, and our fur babies had plenty of space to move around. The host seemed experienced and thoughtful with little touches around the loft (ice in the freezer, shampoo in the shower, hot chocolate and mugs ready for a nice treat, tv on a swivel arm so you can watch from the bed, gate on the patio to keep your dog contained etc) and clear instructions for where to find everything and what to expect. The craftsmanship around the loft was also impressive (well built doors, countertops etc). We would definitely stay here again!

We loved the glamping cabin and the views. It matches the description well. Great place to stargaze too we spotted some meteors as well! But it was super chilly and there was just one heater so that was little hard to sleep we assumed there would be more. But in summer I think it would have been the best. We didn't get to interact with hosts a lot but they were super responsive. Would definitely recommend but come geared up.
