The antique Hoosier cabinet holds cooking utensils and silverware and located above the kitchen counter you will find plates, bowls, cups and glasses for your use. The water is well water, pure and delicious without chemicals. The cabin is equipped with a full size pool table for our guests enjoyment. The master bedroom offers a comfortable sleigh bed, full bathroom with shower and just outside the bedroom is a comfortable patio to enjoy, complete with table and chairs for two and outdoor fire place. Also available is a twin bed tucked in the corner of the area between the main room and bedroom. For guests wishing to continue their exercise routine, a modern treadmill is available as well. Walk the spacious well landscaped yard with multiple seating venues including a large hammock. For a quiet night of movie enjoyment, bring your favorite movies and make use of the DVD/VCR machine and wide screen television. We have 3 boat launches right on the Cumberland River within 3 miles. You can hike, swim, kayak, canoe, jetski, boat, or float on the river. There are several marinas within 30 minutes. It's important to know that this is a raw and challenging terrain. It's a mountain or some may say a hill. We call it a mountain because of the rock bluffs, cliffs, and dramatic nature of this spot. As such, there are cliffs you could fall off, trails that are difficult and dangerous at times depending on your hiking skill level. These are for the adventurous type and use is at your own risk.This property has a magical feel and really allows you to connect with nature in a peaceful, beautiful, and serene place. This property was purchased by my husband and I in 1980 from Margret Cetera mother of Peter Cetera lead singer of the band Chicago. When purchased the home was a small non descript cottage with a pole barn in the back field. It has grown to support grape, blackberry and muscedime vines.The original home has expanded through time and around 20 years ago, the pole barn was converted into a large 1200 square foot cabin with modern conveniences. My husband and I actually enjoyed living full time in the cabin for a period of 5 years before returning to reside in the main house. The cabin consists of 1 large common space room with sitting area and kitchen. The antique farm sink has hot and cold running water. Also available is a large refrigerator, toaster, microwave oven, hot plate, coffee pot and portable dishwasher. The antique Hoosier cabinet holds cooking utensils and silverware and located above the kitchen counter you will find plates, bowls, cups and glasses for your use. The water is well water, pure and delicious without chemicals. The cabin is equipped with a full size pool table for our guests enjoyment. The master bedroom offers a comfortable sleigh bed, full bathroom with shower and just outside the bedroom is a comfortable patio to enjoy, complete with table and chairs for two and outdoor fire place. Also available is a twin bed tucked in the corner of the area between the main room and bedroom. For guests wishing to continue their exercise routine, a modern treadmill is available as well. Walk the spacious well landscaped yard with multiple seating venues including a large hammock. For a quiet night of movie enjoyment, bring your favorite movies and make use of the DVD/VCR machine and wide screen television. Approximately 12-14 television channels are available via outside antenna. This cozy cabin offers something for everyone; book your stay today.

Had a great time at the cabin. We came in the off season on a rainy weekend that turned pretty cold, but overall it was a great stay. The cabin was very easy to find, had plenty of firewood (absolute must, no insulation) and secluded enough from the main part of the property to really provide that peace and quiet we were looking for. It could use a little tlc, but again, we came in the off season so it's hard to take any points off for that. Would absolutely stay here again.

This cabin sits in a beautiful area surrounded by old trees and a creek. The wood burning stove was nice to have when the temperature dropped at night. The games and art supplies in the cabin were an added surprise. I would stay again!

This loft perfectly met our needs for a quick, comfortable stopover mid road trip! The appliances all seemed new, the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, and our fur babies had plenty of space to move around. The host seemed experienced and thoughtful with little touches around the loft (ice in the freezer, shampoo in the shower, hot chocolate and mugs ready for a nice treat, tv on a swivel arm so you can watch from the bed, gate on the patio to keep your dog contained etc) and clear instructions for where to find everything and what to expect. The craftsmanship around the loft was also impressive (well built doors, countertops etc). We would definitely stay here again!

A charming little cabin on a beautiful property! I stayed here with my three dogs, and they loved having the space to roam freely. The cabin was cozy and comfortable, and the modern bathroom was a nice touch. Both the main room and the bathroom have their own window unit. Keith was wonderful to chat with, a friendly and welcoming host.

We loved the glamping cabin and the views. It matches the description well. Great place to stargaze too we spotted some meteors as well! But it was super chilly and there was just one heater so that was little hard to sleep we assumed there would be more. But in summer I think it would have been the best. We didn't get to interact with hosts a lot but they were super responsive. Would definitely recommend but come geared up.

This place is just magical. So much history and if you want to know the story, just ask Keith! Who, btw, is an incredible human who will make you feel comfortable and completely at home, but also away from it.
Amenities, there is not a kitchen, but there is a mini fridge and a microwave. There aren’t any cooking implements, or dishes, but there is a propane grill, hibachi (charcoal), and HUGE firepit, and if you need some cookware, Keith can hook you up (not to blow up his spot). The bed is super comfortable, don’t try lighting a fire unless the flu in the fireplace is wide open(ask us how we know), the shower gets hot, two ac units keep it super comfortable, and there’s a spider we named “ole’ 4 legs” (she has 8 legs, we just called her that for short) that builds a web on the porch each evening that is magical to watch.
Other than it being perfect, it’s even more perfect when it rains. The front porch is the perfect vantage point for the mist relaxing time you’ve EVER had listening to the rain.
Ok, I’m going to stop before I give away too much of the secret and we can never book it again. That being said, it’s terrible and you’ll hate it. Stay away. 😜 jk it’s amazing. Thank you, Keith!

Weekend Trip to Paint Rock Farm Glamping
We stayed on cabin 11 for 3 nights and we loved it, the staff were very kind, the bathhouse was perfect, the cleanest I’ve seen in my many trips, the kitchen is fully equipped and very clean as well, very convenient since there are not too many options for breakfast around. The farm is close to Asheville, Gatlinburg, etc, very quiet, peaceful, I will definitely stay there again soon! I recommend this place 110%!
