Clayton Geneva Camp Ground began as a retreat for our family since the 70's. My grandparents, Donald Clayton Russell & Jewel Geneva (Davis) Russell, purchased this little piece of heaven to get away from the hustle and bustle of Cincinnati life. Judy was born in a little cabin just down the road. Judy & Don along with many family members have made cherished memories here over the years. We want to share its beauty with you and your family.
Please consider, Clayton Geneva is a primitive campground, gravel drives and left as natural as possible. This is not a sculpted campsite or a concrete campground. The primitive area is as such, gravel, grass, sand terrain accessible by a one lane gravel drive that leads over the hill and around the cliff to the riverbank. This drive is absolutely passable however is left bumpy to keep traffic at a safe speed as pedestrians also walk the drive. It is passable by any vehicle as long as the vehicle is not overloaded beyond its ability and/or has an extremely low profile.
Any area that is not an actual campsite is left to nature, not manicured, trimmed or sculpted. As you’ll find all the sites are clear please don’t expect micromanaging of wild growth of our native plants in areas around the sites as we reserve those areas for the wildlife to enjoy.
Please consider all the above mentioned details, primitive campsites are not for everyone and that’s ok.

My brother and I built it from the ground up and did our best to replicate a 100+ year old mountain cabin. We do hope you enjoy the peace and quiet you'll get when staying at Keira's Kabin.Learn more about this land:If you want to get away from the hussle and bussle of today's busy schedule, this is the place. Surrounded by woods, nature and lots of wildlife. Keira's Kabin sits down in a very quiet area on the property along side a spring fed creek. It's very easy to get to and can accomodate up to 4 people. The bunk bed allows 1 person to sleep up top and 2 people to sleep on the bottom. There's also a lounge chair that folds out that another person can sleep on. All the bedding is available at the cabin, but if you want to bring your sleeping bags, you are more than welcome to. There are some eating utensils available as well as a variety of cooking tools (frying pan, tongs, spachulas, etc). You can choose to use the campfire to cook or you can use the propane camp stove if you choose. We also have a hot dog and hamburger holder, popcorn maker, marshmellow spears and sandwich makers that are used for cooking over the campfire. There is great cell service at the cabin but no wifi. Other area services include, Kengo gas station near the entrance of the property and within 7-10 minutes you can be in town to get anything you need. Please let us know if you have any questions and we will be more than happy to help!

The secured shelter is located atop the ridge on our property. The hiking trail is 0.46 miles long with an elevation gain of 328 feet. I can pack in your gear and provide transport for young children with my ATV.
There is no electricity, but water and an outhouse are available. Inside, you’ll find a wood stove for cold weather and an outdoor fireplace on the porch. The shelter includes two indoor bunks with camping pads provided, along with two hammock hooks on the porch.
The indoor space measures 10x10 feet, with a front porch of the same size. A fire ring with grill and some basic cookware are available—please bring your own utensils. A bear cable is on site for securing food (we do have one known bear in the area).

During the spring and summer months, enjoy our flower farm, Rainbow Roots Floral, which is always abundant with seasonal flowers including dahlias, sunflowers, peonies, zinnias, ranunculus, tulips, and other varieties of color. Most days you will see Adrienne (+team) working in the flowers! Don't hesitate to ask her about the flower farm, she LOVES to share her love of flowers with all her guests!
We offer flowers for sale seasonally at our farm stand if you would like to take some flowers home with you! We can't wait to show you our little slice of heaven!
The property is completely hidden from all streets and the surrounding neighbors by our bamboo forests. It is a wonderful venue for those who desire privacy.
Aircraft Hangar
This space boasts an open floor plan with 15-foot ceilings and plush and cozy king and queen size bedrooms. There is a large closet and bathroom space for getting ready. Our open kitchen features every appliance and bar tool you could need to make a meal or prepare cocktails with your guests. Perfect space to entertain or hang out as a family!
Feel free to settle into the sofas and enjoy your favorite Netflix/Amazon shows. Or go outside and enjoy the amazing views of the Smoky Mountains, across our own flower fields, and onto the private airstrip that is adjacent to our property. From time to time you will actually see our neighboring pilots practicing with their aircraft.
Vehicle access is clearly marked and very easy to navigate straight to the hangar. Just follow the gravel road at the end of the culdusac all the way to the end where you'll see a large wood sign indicating our Airbnbs. Turn left at the sign and follow the drive all the way up and around to the rear of our main house. Feel free to pull right into the designated parking area for Terminal 1344.
We are McGee Tyson Airport close (10 miles) and just 30 to 45 minutes to Gatlinburg, Dollywood, Anakeesta and Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

I stayed at the secluded riverside cabin and it was awesome! Patrick was so friendly and accommodating. This Hipcamp had so much to offer…bathrooms,showers,kayaks and so many styles of “roughing it”. Patrick's Point is a great campsite. Options are available for tent camping, cabins, and really cool treehouse sheds. Great birdwatching, kayaking and just enjoying a peaceful place. Very clean and well-maintained. The hosts are so friendly and live on-site if you ever need anything or want to hear a good story. Order the Costa Rican breakfast--you'll be glad you did.

We enjoyed our stay in the hangar! We stayed the other night in the historic train and then last night in the hangar. We appreciate that Dean took the time to explain some historic features of the hangar (he also let us know about the historic train that used to be a kitchen train during WWII). We were impressed by how spacious the hangar is; it is also very clean and organized. It was very peaceful and relaxing here, and it was nice being greeted by the dogs. A big thank you to Adrienne and Dean for their kind hospitality!

Such a cozy cabin in a low flat field. Caution if it may have suffered from rain, the field may be soft. Ask for a PIN to follow on Google Maps to the actual site because it's not at the address or pin that Hipcamp provides. Positives vibes come with the cabin, the peaceful pond, and the country setting !

We had an awesome time on our trip this past weekend. The temps dropped into the mid 20’s and we stayed nice and warm in our shelter. It was so well made and nicer than expected. All 4 of us were able to fit comfortably for 2 nights. The site itself sits right on a small pond and a short walk to the porta potty. This was the perfect spot for our little family adventure. The hosts were so wonderful to check in as we arrived and after the first really cold night so make sure we had enough fuel for the heater. Heater and battery were very appreciated even though we came prepared. Stores nearby if you forget something. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

It was exactly what I was looking for. I did 4 days alone. You park at the house and head up to the site on a dirt road made for a sidekick or off-road golf cart. The views were great, Noone out there but you and nature. Maynard was a gracious host and communicative. Otherwise he left me alone until check out when he came to pick me and my gear up and take me back to my car.
A well built shack, something to be proud of, with enough room comfortably for two. Two that want to camp, but start with shelter vs a tent. Had a little woodburner inside with plenty of wood and two shelf beds. No water, but potted water for cleaning and whatnot. No electricity. The fire and a simple headlamp was all that was needed. The deck had an old cast iron woodburning stove, perfect for when you want to move from the firepit to the deck and chill with a fire or cook on. I cooked over the firepit though. It was the end of Oct. and fall setting in. Got a little chilly, but with the inside burner, it was cozy. It also had a shelf/sink deal on the outside, perfect for washing up, cleaning up and prepping food.
A small and private outhouse style bathroom. Far enough away from the shack and it also had a great view. Lol
My recommendations would be to ensure you bring enough drinking water. I took a 40pack of bottled water for one, for 4 days and it was enough.
Hands down, I will definitely come back. Maybe this time with a friend.

3 nights at Great Smoky Mountains Getaway
We loved our stay in the hangar! Adrienne and Dean were awesome hosts and the hangar has everything you need. There is plenty of outdoor space to enjoy with seating, fire pit options and is highlighted with all the beautiful flowers on the flower farm. Taking a walk through the property will just bring a smile to your face, the flowers are incredible and Adrienne is a wealth of knowledge. The property is near the western border of the Smokeys and close to the Cades Cove area of the park. A quick drive into Maryville will bring you to more urban amenities or activities as well. We felt very at home here and enjoyed cuddling the friendly dogs. If you are in the area, you are missing out by not experiencing this property! We will be coming back anytime we are in the area. Thanks Dean and Adrienne for an awesome trip!

Weekend Trip to N E W! FireFly MTN!
The A frame was so cozy and cute! I loved how you are able to open the space up and let the fresh air in! The little creek was adorable and I still felt like we had enough privacy even when our neighbors were present. Having the blackstone, propane and utensils for us there really helped us out so much so thank you for providing that!! Overall great experience, we hiked around the Smokies all weekend and loved coming back to the place! thank you much!!

Weekend Trip to Patrick's Point River Camp
Me and my boyfriend had an amazing time here, it was quiet , nice view and walk to the river! And had an amazing breakfast!! Definitely would come back to stay.
